With just the hose you could have gravity siphoned entire hose volumes out, capped both ends and transferred to other bucket without loosing a drop. You’d be laying chest down and cheek on the ground to initiate flow each time though.
My immediate thought would be to take off my jacket/clothes, soak the water up with them, and squeeze them out in the second bucket. Definitely better ideas though lol.
Cannot move either bucket. You may touch the buckets, rub them, caress them, but you may not move them from their original positions. They could have moved the recipient bucket, because it said in the rules that only the "water bucket" couldn't be moved
0:29 "you must not move the buckets"
If they were just measuring the depth of the water, couldn’t they have just poured the peas into the other bucket to increase depth using the Archimedes principle?
Just because you can’t move the buckets, doesn’t mean he can’t.
Jam the peas in the holes of the colander. Boom bowl
Proper application of the tape to the colander would have been better.
Anyone know if there's a full length version of the music at 0:11 ?
I would drink all the water and then pee in the bucket.
after watching the international versions, it kinda funny seeing Rob being so cold, when in the Danish one they are often outside when its freezing and in the Norway one there even have specific tasks for outside in the snow (I know the big difference is they are prepared to be outside in the snow and Rob was not).
"the bucket"
...which one of them?
I was expecting someone to take their jacket off and using it to soak up the water before squeezing it out in the other one.
I would have cracked the coconut and used a broken half to scoop up water... wishful thinking.
Edit: Ayy, Sarah did it!
I don't think it was cheating, tbh. There was never a rule about putting things other than the water into the bucket, like the guy who had peas in there contributing to the height too.
Heard minus 5 and forgot this was Britain (Celsius). Felt bad until I remembered walking to school in -10 Fahrenheit.
Would linning the plastic bag inside the bowl and using the tape to secure it work?
That had been my thought.
Wouldnt that have taken more time to do when you could just be using the plastic bag?
@@SimonLausch It seems small tho
@@SKM6540 If the bowl is bigger than the plastic bag then you would have to rip the plastic bag in dozens of pieces to cover all the holes. To do that successfully would require great care so I really dont think it would be worth the time you invest - potentially destroying everything because it is hard to do that without scissors.
Just as I finished watching this, I walked outside to see my dad watching dolphins on TV
For a man pushing 50 Paul Chowdhry looks damn good, innit.
Is he seriously that old? No way!
Super D, he's 45 lol
The fuck? I would've sworn he's thirty.. Brown don't crack either I suppose
Caro K., he also creams himself tho
I would habe just drunk as much as possible and peed in the other bucket.
Ooh, you didn't censor this one!
@Kathleen Henson The episode where this task is from is censored.
This page usually censors all videos
They stopped after posting Season 3.
IFAW, A nonprofit organization that rescues among other things dolphins, just dealt with one of the largest dolphin standings on record. They rescued and relocated dolphins, over 150, off the coast of Maine in the United States. I think Alex Horne needs to donate that 60 pounds, or US$120 to the cause. I have no doubt that the money wasn’t originally donated and this nonprofit organization could really use the help.
Seen this at least 5 times, it's great every time
Colander on the bottom. Empty plastic bag on top, covering the holes. Put in bucket, fill with water. Casually stroll to victory.
Just to clarify, they have to do it without moving the buckets, right?
Cannot move either bucket. You may touch the buckets, rub them, caress them, but you may not move them from their original positions.
My thought was to siphon the original bucket as well, but I would need a lower second bucket, bowl, or pan for that to work.
I read a couple of comments on soaking clothes which is really creative, just not dependable because not everyone was wearing thick wool. The one guy had that idea with the wool hat but it really wasn't ideal to only soak one article of clothing at a time.
@@SkyNinja759 It actually says without touching the buckets. You can move it, but not touch it.
@@gargaduk The title does say that yes, but if you watch the video they specify that you can't move them at all.
Without moving the fishbowls...
12:40 Greg's inner teacher peeping out 😂
Alex should've kicked the bucket over after he got the money as punishment for trying to bribe.
