Lambie Girl if the cast made money every time this movie shows I wonder how much these people would make a year? The movie shows 2 days a year for the whole day on almost every channel.
Dallas Salmon and get this I just found out through a search that it is the most watched program on cable television for those 2 days starting at 8 p.m.
I relate to this scene so much! I would always wonder why my older brother just had to wear a coat and hat, and I was forced to wear a big suit like this, a hat, mittens, and a scarf..
My mom did this to me too haha!! Was NOT funny at the time but when I first saw this scene I just cracked up remembering! I always carried all my stuff home (dropping things) bc of course I couldn’t get it back on and did NOT want to!
@@rl453 That's why they had this scene I'm sure a lot of people could related to that scene. The ones that relate to this I'm sure busts out laughing even harder than the ones that haven't been bundled up like that.
There's a lot of references to this movie on South Park because this was one of Trey Parker and Matt Stone's favorite movies of all time. They also reference one of Schwartz's lines in the episode where Cartman puts food up his ass and shits out of his mouth.
Sonya Sonya I wonder if the cast of this movie makes a lot of money if they get paid for every time the movie is shown on TV? The movie plays 2 days a year for the whole day on almost every TV channel.
I can't wait 'til the marathon shows on TBS during Christmas. :) I can't wait! Christmas is the best time of the year. My favorite Christmas of all time, is It's a Wonderful Life. A Christmas Story would probably have to be my second favorite. The Grinch is my third favorite. Haha. Love the feeling of Christmas time. :)
This was my childhood. We lived in a snowy climate and me, my sister and brother wore those snowsuits to school and it took my mother 15 minutes to get us into them. soo funny.
Yep this was me my mom did make my older brother bundle up but me and my sister had to wear giant snowsuit withs hats mittens and scarves that my grandma made 3 times bigger than us and we could barely see
did anyone else want to push him down just to watch him roll back and forth like a turtle........OH WAIT they did that for us........god I love this movie.
Soo funny, back in those days when we were small my mother used to do that same thing. It took her 30 minutes to dress me up and I only stayed out for 15 minutes. The part about putting his arms down cracks me up every time.LOL
Thought for today: Smile and remember Mom is right on this one. Sometimes, you DO need that much insulation against adverse elements! Even though it is awkward to maneuver under those circumstances, it is necessary to "bundle up" for your own personal protection. God, please give me strength to move forward 🙏 🤍🪻🕊
Yep, a very familiar scene when I was a kid. The big brother only puts on a coat and boots, while I was layered until I could barely move and by then didn't want to go out and play in the snow.
I will be meeting the Randy character at The Hershey Comic Con on the 9th of November. 2014 and I can't wait to meet him. I will be signing books for my comic books as well. If you could make it love to see you there.
@ChristmasTime365 I'm with ya, one of my favorites! We have it on DVD so I watch it from time to time through the year (like summer when it's hot/humid outside... lol).
I quoted this movie so many times in school and only a few people got it. I feel quite bad for them because you haven't had a real Christmas until you have seen this movie-333
"Put your arms down when you get to school!"
"WANNNNNNHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"LMAO
Hahahahaha!
LOL! 😜😆😂🤣
😂😂 hilarious... never gets old
😂😂😂😂 🤣🤣🤣🤣
"He lie there like a slug. It was his only defense"
"My kid brother looked like a tick about to pop!"
Haha. One of my favorite lines ever.
So funny the way that Darin McGavin 'swears and curses' without actually saying any bad words.....
(Darren mcgavin with two r’s.)
Love how you can hear the old man yelling from outside.
Laughing like a madman, but he fixed the furnace!
"Well, put your arms down when you get to school." WAAAAAAAAAAA. I love this movie!
One of my favorite scenes from my favorite Christmas movie...
Musical One That is my favorite scene!! :))
I can't decide between this one and "mommy's little piggy"... ;-)
Musical One It is not easy....I know :))

Vermillion93 hard to believe we're getting close to that day again huh!
The kids' crying and screaming in this entire movie were so authentic to how kids respond in real life. Lol
LOL one of my favorite scenes. I always wondered how the teacher got all the stuff off and back on again when it was time for Randy to go home!
1:46
Me when I can't get up for school.
haha...I can't get up for school! I can't get up for school...lol. I know the feeling.
I relate to this scene so much! I would always wonder why my older brother just had to wear a coat and hat, and I was forced to wear a big suit like this, a hat, mittens, and a scarf..
Poor Randy. This the greatest Christmas movie in the world. I was in 3rd grade when this classic came out. Great memories of my childhood.
Maybe this kid could become a spokesperson for LifeAlert...
you know its Christmas when tbs shows the 24 hour Christmas story special lol, i love it!!
HIS MOM IS STRICT! His mom is not messing around. His mom is like go to school right now!
43 days 7 hours and 13 minutes until the marathon on TBS starts!
Me when I'm being held hostage just to get my picture taken:
Darin McGavins pity laugh Ah Ha Ah Ha Ah Ha!! Gets me everytime 😂😂
"I can't get up!!! Waahhh" LMAO
What's Christmas without a Christmas story?

Poor little guy 🥺 here let me help 🙂🧣🧣🧤 there now your ready for school 😀
The best Christmas Movie, hands down!! 👊🏻🎄🎅🏻😊😝
He CAN'T put his hands down.
My mom did this to me too haha!! Was NOT funny at the time but when I first saw this scene I just cracked up remembering! I always carried all my stuff home (dropping things) bc of course I couldn’t get it back on and did NOT want to!

"Getting ready to extended deep sea diving." I still use that reference all the time when talking about my own kids.
This is my favorite movie, I watch it over and over again every Christmas omg.
"HEY KID!" that gets me everytime! i love it!
"Preparing to go to school was like getting ready for extended deep sea diving." LMAO
0:37...the original Kenny McCormick!

Shades Below They killed Kenny! You bastards!
I sooo love this movie...:)

This was the inspiration for yours truly ...KENNY FROM SOUTHPARK
There's a lot of references to this movie on South Park because this was one of Trey Parker and Matt Stone's favorite movies of all time. They also reference one of Schwartz's lines in the episode where Cartman puts food up his ass and shits out of his mouth.
I like when he hides under the sink and says "daddy's gonna kill ralphie :( " LOL
I remember only this scene from this movie because it was soo goddamn funny and adorable x3
I love watching this movie every Christmas
The best modren Christmas movie of all time...Period! So many great scenes it's hard to pick a favorite. We all knew a Randy growing up.

Sonya Sonya I wonder if the cast of this movie makes a lot of money if they get paid for every time the movie is shown on TV? The movie plays 2 days a year for the whole day on almost every TV channel.

I wish they played this movie from time to time not just on Christmas. Anybody with me?
Ha...reminds me of my childhood in Chicago with my younger brother right before Christmas Break.
Feel sorta bad for Ian Petrella -- gods know how many times they had to redo that scene in multiple takes! XD
Yep this was me my mom did make my older brother bundle up but me and my sister had to wear giant snowsuit withs hats mittens and scarves that my grandma made 3 times bigger than us and we could barely see
omg.. this brings me back to christmas eve.. now i want it to be Christmas! best movie EVER :D
did anyone else want to push him down just to watch him roll back and forth like a turtle........OH WAIT they did that for us........god I love this movie.
Kid sounds like Lucy crying
This is me as a baby going out in the snow for the first time... getting wrapped in snow gear looking like a "tick about to pop" xD
I have seen this movie so many times and I still laugh my ass off every time I see it.
So how does Randy able to get all that winter gear once he gets to school? Does his teacher help him?
Exactly
Must be since he’s dressed like this every time he goes to school.
i always watch this every christmas!!!
Wow. Talk about an overprotective mom.
Do they go to school in The arctic??
I got lucky today! It was in the bargain bin at the local pharmacy. YES! Now I can watch it whenever I want.
my aunt laughed at this scene so much cause it reminded her of when she had to go threw the same thing growing up.
Argh now I want Chistmas to get here already! I love this movie so much!
That first scene was really dirty in my mind. I'm a terrible person and I should go cry alone in a corner.
Soo funny, back in those days when we were small my mother used to do that same thing. It took her 30 minutes to dress me up and I only stayed out for 15 minutes. The part about putting his arms down cracks me up every time.LOL
