I'm pretty sure that I'm close this very situation as my dad is taking care of mom. She had 2 strokes that left her not able to do much or even talk clearly. Hes going down quick because of the obvious. Hes almost 80 and unfortunately im not physically within driving distance to help both of them and my brothers are out of state. I totally feel your pain but know our God is a great God and he knows how you feel and I assure you that your dad is in a better place. Hang in there.. They are very cute and fluffy but not for a boy!! randy laughing and ralphie telling him to shut up is every brother reaction clearly!1 The old man probably had an experience very similiar qwhen he was gfrowing up and of course rightfully tells the mother to tell him to take it off!! So accurate for on christmas morning everyone is ready to burst open their christmas presents!1 The mother is so heartwarming and loving while the old man can barely keep his eyes openb!! of course when she hads him the blue bowling ball thanks alot right on the family jewels!! Truly a classic. A little before my time. I have great Christmas memories from the 70's. I used to change the " from and to" tags to watch people's expressions. My uncle got a pair of pink slippers from my mother,and my niece got a GI Joe from my Dad. If you want a synopsis of the film, it's about Ralphie who is a teenager wants a car and just when he found a car he loves, he accidentally caused it to get damaged and the owner of the car lot told him that he has until Christmas day to raise enough money to pay for the damages and said that if he doesn't have the certain amount of money, he will have Ralphie arrested. So Ralphie and his two best friends Flick and Schwartz had to find a way to get enough money before Christmas day. Regarding Ralphie outgrowing the bunny suit, it probably wouldn't be a necessary thing for him to wear since he would be too old to wear it. The only times it would be okay for him to wear it is if he's entertaining kids with the bunny pajamas.

There are even several elementary schools here in my hometown of York, Pennsylvania(several of which closed down a long time ago, former city elementary schools)-Madison Elementary, Jackson School, McKinley School, and Theodore Roosevelt School. In fact, the building that used to be Theodore Roosevelt School looks JUST LIKE Ralphie’s school! If you knew York, PA well enough, where this building is, you would SWEAR the scenes for Ralphie’s school were filmed there! It’s the similar architectural style, of course; the former Theodore Roosevelt school here in York, Pennsylvania was built in 1931.

If you want a synopsis of the film, it's about Ralphie who is a teenager wants a car and just when he found a car he loves, he accidentally caused it to get damaged and the owner of the car lot told him that he has until Christmas day to raise enough money to pay for the damages and said that if he doesn't have the certain amount of money, he will have Ralphie arrested. So Ralphie and his two best friends Flick and Schwartz had to find a way to get enough money before Christmas day. Regarding Ralphie outgrowing the bunny suit, it probably wouldn't be a necessary thing for him to wear since he would be too old to wear it. The only times it would be okay for him to wear it is if he's entertaining kids with the bunny pajamas.

Trivia: note the name of Ralphie’s school: Warren G. Harding School. I always say that back in the day, in early to mid 20th century, it was customary to dedicate schools to former presidents. There are even several elementary schools here in my hometown of York, Pennsylvania(several of which closed down a long time ago, former city elementary schools)-Madison Elementary, Jackson School, McKinley School, and Theodore Roosevelt School. In fact, the building that used to be Theodore Roosevelt School looks JUST LIKE Ralphie’s school! If you knew York, PA well enough, where this building is, you would SWEAR the scenes for Ralphie’s school were filmed there! It’s the similar architectural style, of course; the former Theodore Roosevelt school here in York, Pennsylvania was built in 1931.
