Hi Michael!! I need some help, currently I'm using OBS to record my gameplay, but I've noticed via quality is not quite good as NVidia's recording, what could be the problem? I use all the settings just the way you (and most of other OBS pros) use, but the overall quality decreases noticeably. I have a AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, 16 GB RAM and a GTX 1660 6 GB, I use a M.2 for OS and SSD for games, but all the gameplay records I store them in a HDD (maybe that's not good?).
