Love these colors your using to make skin tones, I’m finding using traditional colors are coming out very dark lately
I use water base oil and am finding these brighter colors are working better for me

I like the last mix. It has all what you need. To make more cool colour what you will put?

And thats why this paint is so expensive. But the price is not going to stop me thats for sure. Just love that the color has not changed in the slightest while its sitting there. Not like the artists acrylics ive used. Cant wait to paint with this brand. I will never go back to use the cheap stuff again.

"Lead white, traditionally used for portraiture because it's a little bit warmer than titanium white"
Titanium white wasn't used pre-1920s. What kind of traditional are you talking about?

Dutch Bushcraft Guy 😂 a fair point, I hear what you’re saying, I guess it comes down to syntax!

Would have been nice, and more complete if you also focused on other ethnicities. Arab, African, and Asian for instance. Seem rather narrow in focus the way you presented it here. Nicely done overall, though narrow.

Try a small touch of burnt umber mixed with a good blob of titanium white, then add a very tiny spot of yellow ochre.

I can do the same with blockx , rublev and langridge oils and have money left over.

Could have been more helpful. In another similar UA-cam video on flesh tones, the artist overlaid the names of all paints used to avoid confusion. Here, the names of the paints cannot be seen; the artist's accent left me uncertain about which paints she was actually using.

James Ownby all the colours used are listed in chronological order in the description with links to Michael Harding’s website where you can find more information about each one. The brand is British. My accent is also British!!

Artists cannot buy Michael Harding lead white in Britain now, only if you can prove you are a restorer. Thanks to the EU for this who put on a blanket ban on lead in the UK and didn't bother to assess the under 1% of use by artist who would probably dispose of it sensibly, unlike the industrialists.
