When I get up for school, I go and look at my fish and they all look dead at the bottom then all of a sudden they jump up.😂😂

Use red light, so you won't wake your fish.

@@towermoss Not only is red harder to see underwater, eventually the color will disappear completely. It's very strange. I had an instructor when attending a commercial diving school who said she brought a strawberry down with her once and at depth it went from red, to brown. According to what I learned in my physics class at the school, colors disappear the deeper you go, in the order of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and finally violet, which is very odd as those are also the colors of the rainbow!

Aren’t they cute? Me and my mom loved them. Her favorite was the hiding one. Mine was the multicolored one that looked like a Chinese dragon. We both loved them all.
Awesome video! Fun to see a bettas awake at night - mine literally curls up in either his log or the corner at 7:00 pm sharp before the lights go out, and doesn't move until 7:00 am the next morning.
I have an imbellis betta,supposedly the friendly betta
But now he's turned very angry(but happy) he has a beautiful 21 litre tank with plants,rocks and driftwood
I actually believe he acts angry because he's happy and is guarding his territory lol
I feed him well,tank water is awesome, give him a mirror a couple times per week lol

My fish is a small mickey i saw it was floating not moving i tapped and tapped they woke up I WAS RELIEVED I THOUGHT THEY DIED TURNS OUT THERE DEEP SLEEPERS When u looka way at them for a sec they vanish cause they woke up😂
the fish are saying "what ever this bright object which is shining at me is i don't like it" hens they swim away from the light (they also could think its a predator)

Hi just a quick question. Does fish get really clumsy when they just wake up? Or their colour change lighter?. That’s what I see when I turn on the light in the morning. (I have black tetra and molly)

Most people dont feed during that time which is why its very important to condition the fish well before spawning so they handle not eating for a few days. I sometimes offer my fish some bloodworms but usually dong feed during spawning.

Some bettas are giant bettas. Those are larger then usual.

Absolutely ridiculous. Shining a torch in an aquarium is bad enough for the fish doing it at night is idiotic. Unnecessary stress and disturbing the sleep cycle is just a couple of many things.
I agree that it's bad to bother fish when they sleep (which is why I usually don't do it), but sometimes it's good to be inquisitive and see what they do so we can learn more about them. Kinda like when people do deep sea exploration..they are shining a light and disturbing the fish as well but we get to learn and discover new things. I'm not a scientist though, so it's not a perfect comparison. I was just curious and wanted to share a different aspect of my pets lives. 😊
