Pray on it, and then pray on it again lol. Listen to how you feel and even get guidance from a leader you trust. It is perfectly okay to make sure you feel okay before making a major move like this. God has to be in it, blessings to you!
Make him wait!!! Narcs show increasingly true colours 6-9 months in... The overt ones 3-6 months. Covert narcs struggle by month 7-12 to keep the mask on - they are more subtle but you can tell. But beware...The covert narcs can hold it together even longer especially if you have alot to offer ( house, money, status, associations). In short don't do it under a year especially when their moving so so fast. They don't want you to think .. especially when your caught up in the euphoria of it all, you excuse & dismiss alot of red flags. Try to wait 9-12/18 months to assess their character, check out their stories ( seriously do checks). After all your supposed to spending your life together. So this time shouldn't matter. If he really loves you, he can wait and you can continue to get to know him. And yes pray, pray, pray about it.🙏🏼

Watching people's actions over what they say applies to everyone. Also, some people prefer texting over calling and vice versa. I myself prefer in person conversation and presence, but that's me. I gave him my number to plan a fishing trip, and he texted me for 2 weeks almost daily with small talk (which I detest btw 😂). After 2 weekends straight of him telling me he was passing by my house (we live in a very small town), my short bus butt finally got the memo. I felt stupid at first, but after evaluating the entire short romance, the communication was atrocious. I needed a PhD in AD/introvert speak to figure almost every text. I gave up. Only time in my life I was clueless about being liked though 😂.

Not sure, in any event it was weird and I don't want to experience it again with another adult wanting to date seriously, at least not without a disclaimer.

I have a question about a text. I had a first date with someone I met online. Because of our crazy work and holiday schedules, we could not meet again for a few months. Mostly because of his conflicts. But we stayed in touch online. Most discussion was work related. He was good about answering questions. Some were personal questions, but most were about our work and mutual interests. We had an opportunity to have dinner last week, but he canceled twice. I wrote back and said that we may not be destined to meet. I thought my tone was light and joking. He immediately wrote back to tell me that I must be looking for something that he was not. My confusion came from the fact that either I was sending the wrong signals or he is just someone who plays online. The few “winks” and suggestive messages we shared always came from him. Just started talking to someone. He does some of these but some he doesn't. He makes sure to message everyday but not consistent conversation. He will drop out in the conversation. I'll ask something And it's like he runs. I get gm just about everyday and he wants to know when he can see me again. Asks what I'm doing etc but still is confusing cause he will just drop from the conversation. When he's working I get it but when he's not it makes no sense. My ex was the poet kinda. Told me from the start how he felt supposedly but he was just love bombing. So this isn't accurate all the way on either end.

I have a question about a text. I had a first date with someone I met online. Because of our crazy work and holiday schedules, we could not meet again for a few months. Mostly because of his conflicts. But we stayed in touch online.
Most discussion was work related. He was good about answering questions. Some were personal questions, but most were about our work and mutual interests. We had an opportunity to have dinner last week, but he canceled twice. I wrote back and said that we may not be destined to meet. I thought my tone was light and joking. He immediately wrote back to tell me that I must be looking for something that he was not.
My confusion came from the fact that either I was sending the wrong signals or he is just someone who plays online. The few “winks” and suggestive messages we shared always came from him. Anyway, I think I did the right thing to end all contact. Any thoughts?

Just started talking to someone. He does some of these but some he doesn't. He makes sure to message everyday but not consistent conversation. He will drop out in the conversation. I'll ask something And it's like he runs. I get gm just about everyday and he wants to know when he can see me again. Asks what I'm doing etc but still is confusing cause he will just drop from the conversation. When he's working I get it but when he's not it makes no sense. My ex was the poet kinda. Told me from the start how he felt supposedly but he was just love bombing. So this isn't accurate all the way on either end.
