It's so true that we have the BEST BEACHES in the World . I've been to different Countries and now living in the United States for 20 Years ...I would say it's still better in The Philippines !
Being in the States for 20 years as well, I've been to many beaches in the US but never actually swam in them. Water is cold everywhere. Sands are on the rough side. And yes, PH has the best beaches.

Ya ikr there is also the pink beach which is in Zamboanga City in the southern region of the Philippines and what we call Great Santa Cruz Island, its really pretty there ( i haven't been there but ang ganda doon tol)

Every time Filipinos will have parties we all sleep for like hours in the day time so we hove more energy at the night and also just like what Rocky "At the bottom said" we dont trow parties or trash the house we all know what to do and we mainly focused on food and also singing and like in every thing we can celebrate on we celebrate on it XD

On the flip side of being able to help people in the Philippines is that I find that Filipino doesn't seem to get wary if you help them out as opposed to Americans or Australians. I think Americans and Australians tend to wonder what you want from them when you help them or are nice to them. That's what I have experienced anyway as a Filipino who has moved to Australia and dealt with a lot of Australians and Americans.

The company that runs Starbucks used to be my client. They also managed high end brands at the mall. Yeah, Starbucks here are better than in the States. People only go to Starbucks there for take out.

I still think starbucks in general has nasty coffee. Never tried the food because i refuse to drink coffee flavored dishwater. But having said that Aussies are spoiled when it comes to coffee. That's why starbucks lost millions of $$ here. And had to close most of their stores.

I just wanted to point out about the movies. Last 10-20 years, the reason American movies are released outside the the US beforehand is because I believe Hollywood studios are trying to gain the movie gross earnings so they can count those in for blockbuster charts. So, by the time the movie is released in the US , they can make a statement in the press that the movies made such certain figures “globally” for marketing purposes. For example, they can say a Marvel made a $1 billion globally during it’s opening weekend. However, if you look at the gross margin of the US earnings alone, they would be only a certain percentage of the $1 billion the movie made “globally” ( like $500k in the US). It’s a marketing strategy to entice viewers that the movie is a huge success.

Good stuff guys. Your mileage may vary regarding experiences. It depends on what area of the US you are comparing too. There are some restaurants in the US that serve food for everyone to share in your table. There are many good starbucks to hang out, eat and drink your coffee, do some work, etc. It is more "Sue Happy" here because of liability issues. For example the guy in a motorcycle you hire for videos or movies will have to sign waivers just in case something happens. Can't just get someone off the street and pay him off. Now about movie theaters, it is true they are more expensive same with popcorn, drinks and whatnot because most of the revenue is coming from those sales too.Fast food workers, Philippine fast food workers are genuinely friendlier and give better service. In the States, many of them here or at least the ones in the east coast act like they don't want to be there or are just going through the motions. I get that it is a low paying job and all that but I'm just saying that's the vibe I get when being served. Some movies do get advanced international release, some start all at the same time and some are released here in the US first. At least that's what I know. Good stuff guys. Maybe next time do a triple comparison, US, Philippines and UK point of view.

Number 10 is true I've live in Boston for 28 years and it is very hard to make close friends here. A friend is easy but close friends is hard to find but i have two and they are Puerto Ricans and they love Filipinos and Boxing because of Senator Pacman.
In Philippines po/opo, ate/kuya are signs of respect but when it comes to America...yeah I know that some Americans call their siblings as Bro & Sis but some of them too are calling their older brother/sister just by their names.... when I first heard about that, I literally shocked but it depends on them if they're going to say it in respectful way... including *"please"* .

Good stuff guys. Your mileage may vary regarding experiences. It depends on what area of the US you are comparing too. There are some restaurants in the US that serve food for everyone to share in your table. There are many good starbucks to hang out, eat and drink your coffee, do some work, etc. It is more "Sue Happy" here because of liability issues. For example the guy in a motorcycle you hire for videos or movies will have to sign waivers just in case something happens. Can't just get someone off the street and pay him off. Now about movie theaters, it is true they are more expensive same with popcorn, drinks and whatnot because most of the revenue is coming from those sales too.Fast food workers, Philippine fast food workers are genuinely friendlier and give better service. In the States, many of them here or at least the ones in the east coast act like they don't want to be there or are just going through the motions. I get that it is a low paying job and all that but I'm just saying that's the vibe I get when being served. Some movies do get advanced international release, some start all at the same time and some are released here in the US first. At least that's what I know. Good stuff guys. Maybe next time do a triple comparison, US, Philippines and UK point of view.
