Boursin ( boor- zanh) is imported and pretty expensive. You can easily and cheaply make your own using softened cream cheese and butter as the base. Just GOOGLE IT.
Apparently you can mess up your air fryer by using commercial spray oil in it. I think a refillable pump type would be OK bc homemade would be 100% oil without any lecithin which can foul the heating element. Love you guys!
Am quickly becoming your biggest fan! I am a 66-year-old woman who has been on keto for almost 3 years. Went on keto not to lose weight but to avoid all the diseases from typical American diet. At 5'8", I went from size 10 to 9 without really trying. I am never hungry because if I feel like eating, I eat. I just keep my carbs really low. I heard somewhere, "There's no food that tastes as good as feeling good," and boy is that the truth. Trying to get my identical twin on keto. Cross your fingers, and thanks for wonderful videos.
I would still like to try a Krispy coating on the peppers too. Hence using the airfryer...Then someone suggested freeze your Beratta cheese 1st before dredging and rolling in crumbs. Like the idea of cheese sticks. I made a Keto friendly artichoke dip recently at Easter. It was a big hit with my family who are not into Keto; and tasted great hot or cold! No frying involved. I have a toaster oven, but no air-fryer yet. My big oven has been broken for years, waiting to remodel the whole kitchen. I've cooked many things from pizza to meatloaf in my toaster oven, as well as casseroles and desserts! Thanksgiving, we grilled a whole turkey and pork roast at the same time on our big BBQ PIT on our patio. I LOVE WATCHING Y'ALL. My Sisters Pat & Cat are twins! I'm Ketovore, but need to embrace full Keto for my Husband who recently lost 10lbs just using LMNT instead of the ones with sugar! He doesn't cook, so also eats everything I make. He loves bread, though. So I need to make more Keto bread. I ate a 90 second microwave bread with my breakfast; and use low carb tortillas, even made them before with egg whites and coconut flour. I'm almost 70, and he is close to 75! Sending 🤗 👍 to y'all from Baytown, Texas Diane 🤠
I made the peppers using mini peppers right after I watched this video. It was my lunch. I used mini peppers and goat cheese and sugar free maple syrup because I didn't have the Keto Honey. YUMMY!
Love you both so much!! Try the smaller mini peppers. Perfect for stuffing! I make up a bunch of real jalapeño poppers and then reheat as needed! I have a popper addiction🌶😔
I garden and grow my own jalapeños. I made and froze 1300 poppers last year. I put them on cookie sheets freeze them then put them in big vacuum seal bags and seal them. Open remove what I need and reseal. Man great go to when hungry and don't feel like cooking. I don't bread mine. Freeze uncooked and air fry when I want them.
Hot honey is honey that has been infused with some spices that make it hot. It is a great sub for those that like a bit of spice in their life. Maybe you could add some chicken to the cream cheese or crab before popping them in the Air fryer? I've not had much luck with almond flour as a sub for breading. I find it's easier to cote things with mayo & then roll it in a mixture of seasoned almond flour & ground pork rinds. Just my 2 cents...LOL Keep up the good work.
I was laughing out loud, with the outcome of the 2nd tick-tock recipe…😂🤭😁 …Your version still looked yummy though!👍🏼 I’m definitely going to try the artichoke recipe, they looked delicious. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I'm starting again to do low carb. I came across your channel and enjoy it and you two bantering😊. I saw one of your episodes where you mentioned how people point out things that make you feel insecure at times. IGNORE THEM!!! continue doing what you do. What an accomplishment your combined loss is.
You need the instapot air fryer it's like mini oven and you can see inside & had light inside. My favorite part was the rotisserie inside and the basket that cooks things ❤
My grandmother was from Italy, I remember she would sometimes fry breaded artichoke hearts. Yum! Mostly though she served them in the marinade. I love them!
Ohmygoodness! When I saw that burrata come out a little busted, I still thought it looked delish. When you put on the bed of marinara and the basil on top…still looked yummy!! Maybe freeze them before air frying? Like when making mozzarella sticks? Whatev, still looks great! Thanks for a new video!!
I feel “ Sarah’s artichoke pain” and I have “ brussel sprouts pain” as well…..if you ask me NOTHING is as good as an onion ring…..I must admit I have only made the variety in a muffin tin ( using cheese and xanthan gum) but I’ll bet I can use the same coating for onion rings that you used on the brussel sprouts! Thanks Keto Twinzies…another informative video!👯♀️
I make the jalapeño poppers with cream cheese then wrap in bacon. But the regular peppers would give the sweeter flavor. Definitely going to try the peppers and artichoke. You are my people, very real and not pretentious and I love you both! See you in your next kitchen test. Take care.🧇🧀🥓🥗🥑🍅
Love the artichoke recipe. Yum. I make my on Boursin cheese so I’m going to try the bell pepper recipe too. Thank you for these test recipes. It gives us hope to carry on another day! ❤️
Giada makes a terrific artichoke bake. Topped w parm mixed with breadcrumbs, Itallian seasoning, butter sprayed with oil. I make it keto and use the Trader Joe's frozen artichoke hearts. Bake in casserole dish for 35 min.
I thought I'd mention saving the pepper seeds for the garden. Great recipes, even the one you considered a failure. Put the cheese in a ramekin and see what happens.
Good evening Keto Twins. That air fried burrata looks absolutely delicious - especially battered and coated with panko. Thanks for sharing another great high protein recipe. 👍👍
Burrata and artichokes two of my favorite foods! I have been making the stuffed mini bell peppers for years, I usually make up my own stuffing, but they are good!❤
You need to try Indigo Nilis breading recipe. Pork rinds , egg white powder, gelatin and seasonings. You still use an egg wash in the process. Excellent !!!!
Love your authenticity. Takes courage to show us the fails. I am glad you eat the fails anyhow! Why not! The Artichokes looked super good - inspires me to buy that monsta jar of artichokes from Costco.
I have had my air fryer for years. The handle fell off and I have to wrap a bungee cord around it to hold the door closed. But I use it almost every day! Air fryer green beans are so good. I will definitely try the peppers. Thanks for all your great videos.
I really liked how easy the peppers looked. I’m going to try that one for sure. My grandmother used to make me fried cauliflower, which I loved. I may have to try that and the artichokes at the same time. What all are you putting truffle oil on? I’ve never bought a bottle because I didn’t think I could use the whole bottle.
Hi Girls! Thanks so much for trying these out! I don’t have an separate air fryer but I have a toaster oven that has air fryer capability and we just bought a new stove with 2 ovens that both have the air fryer feature. Now all I have to figure out how to use these features, lol. Even though the second recipe didn’t turn out like it should at least it was tasty! The other 2 are definitely worth a try for me. I don’t like jalapeños so bell peppers will be great. And the artichoke recipe looks perfect for an appetizer or snack. Thank you both for all you do! 💗💗
The burrata still looks delicious, but before I put any cheese in my air fryer, I partially freeze it, and then it tends to hold its shape much better. 😋😋😋😋😋 I also chill any food I am coating in three-step method. The coating always stays on beautifully.
My favorite keto channel is Victorias keto kitchen. Her recipes with her perfected keto flour are delicious. I have made the biscuits and cookies. If you try any of her recipes, make sure you get the almond flour and oat fiber she recommends. It does make a difference.
Definitely going to try all three, although I would probably use regular mozzarella instead of burrata given your experience. The artichokes would be great with the truffle mayo or truffle spicy mayo that you both turned me on to,
.that looked so so good as for the air fried mozzarella ball that was not a surprise in stead of jalapeños there is a typ of pepper bright in color that not hot and would be good Candace for stuffed pepper
Have you tried Jicama? I just bought one! I’m going to do fries! Also once I tasted it, it might make a good apple replacement too! It’s a great potato replacement!
I invented a keto oatmeal recipe I think you should try. Well-rinsed & drained Palmini rice. Spread well and toast till lightly browned on a buttered electric skillet. Put in bowl & mix in sweetener, cinnamon, a generous portion of chopped pecans, and a few cut up raisins or craisins, or whatever you want to add. I added some Choczero maple syrup too. It's really good! You're welcome !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!!!!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!! !!!!!!!! !!!! !!!! !!!!
Burrata is freshly made mozzarella cheese formed into a pouch, then filled with mozz scraps and fresh cream. It’s fragile and the fun, yummy part is when the creamy filling is released to cascade over the rest of your meal. Kind of like when a beautiful runny egg yolk is pierced and runs out. Trying to make it into something like a Scotch egg seems silly. That would be a good video! Keto Scotch eggs!
I believe the second recipe the burrata would have worked perfectly had you put it in the freezer first for a little while before putting it in the air fryer
And I would add to this that you were working with the smaller burata balls, which would also have meant that the heat would get to the center sooner (less mass but roughly equal thermal gradient). That would make the whole thing much more melty. You might try it again with a single burata.
I’m definitely going to try the artichoke recipe. Yum! Only, I guess I’ll need an air-fryer first. Thanks, you two for another great video! Anyway, this is LilMama CPA signing out!
I think you might have more luck with the burrata if you try just frying it like you did with the mozzarella- that way you can watch it and grab it out if it starts to melt. But putting it in the freezer for a bit after dredging might also help a lot! Mall these recipes look great!
@ketotwins Ok & it's actually a cheese I never tried! You guys are so fun and nice reading all our suggestions! I made zucchini w criss cross cuts fried in avocado oil & it's delicious!💐
I recently used carnivore crisp new Chicken flour!!! Would love to see you guys create something with it!!! I used it as a breading for fried chicken and it was fantastic!
I love this show...you guys crack me up. suggestion, if you need to use panko or bread crumbs. why aren't you using the chaffles (left over pulse in the food processor) or toast keto bread and do the same?
You suffer for your art! Those wing sideburns like to fly, ladies. You have nice long sideburns, you can trim the last inch short With a slant shorter toward your ear and comb them back with the wave. Try it you might like it and if you don’t - just say so in the next video. Love ya!!
Maybe double bread the cheese and freeze it for 20-30 minutes before air frying. That may help the outside solidify enough before it gets too hot and help to keep it intact.
I would love to try many of the products you use like the Borata with truffles. When you mention these could you say the name of the product/name brand, or where you bought it? I love your show, thanks for all you do, you two are wonderful.

I learned the hard way several years ago to freeze your cheese before frying. You can coat before or after freezing. But always fry frozen cheese.
Great idea!!
That would be good to try with this.
Was thinking the same thing....great minds think alike.
I agree with putting it in the freezer a bit, but also pre-heating the air fryer before putting them in,
Am quickly becoming your biggest fan! I am a 66-year-old woman who has been on keto for almost 3 years. Went on keto not to lose weight but to avoid all the diseases from typical American diet. Add some egg white powder to your panko and it will stick really well.
Good tip! Thanks!
I really felt ya on that second recipe. I was sad too, but hey, I sure appreciate your integrity and showing it anyhow. Thanks always.
I just ordered an air fryer and can't wait to catch up on all the delicious recipes that are out there!
An air fryer is just a counter top conventional oven
I made the peppers using mini peppers right after I watched this video. It was my lunch. I used mini peppers and goat cheese and sugar free maple syrup because I didn't have the Keto Honey. YUMMY!
The peppers look delightful, I bet the little snacker peppers would be great, they would make nice small portions
Yay you’re on the Air Fryer train! Hurray 💃
Haha yeah! Finally 🙈
Love you two. Thank you for all you do for the keto community.
Thanks so much for your support Carmella!! -Em
Definitely trying the air fried artichokes! Perhaps try freezing the burrata and lowering the temp.
The artichokes look delish! Look into crispy deviled eggs made in the airfryer. Something I've been meaning to try.
Love you both so much!! Try the smaller mini peppers. Perfect for stuffing! I make up a bunch of real jalapeño poppers and then reheat as needed! I have a popper addiction🌶😔
That’s a great idea!

I like the little ones better, too.
It’s like a fancy mozzarella stick. Looks bomb.
I love you channel you ladies are so real 😊
Awww thank you 🤗🤗-Em
Try the 1st recipe with poblano peppers. Spiciness between sweet peppers and jalapenos
You two are so much fun!
🤗🤗
Love these, so easy, thanks ladies!
Maybe make the second recipe and place in half a bell pepper then air fry, and why not!
Good idea!
I finally got some LMNT love it so good my favorite is citrus, watermelon ❤️
So happy you like it :)
You should try Hero Bread.. zero carbs. love the hamburger buns
I appreciate you both. These videos really help me stay excited and on track!
Hot honey is honey that has been infused with some spices that make it hot. It is a great sub for those that like a bit of spice in their life. Maybe you could add some chicken to the cream cheese or crab before popping them in the Air fryer?

Keep up the good work.
Pork panko mixed with egg white powder works really well.
I was laughing out loud, with the outcome of the 2nd tick-tock recipe…😂🤭😁
…Your version still looked yummy though!👍🏼
I’m definitely going to try the artichoke recipe, they looked delicious. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I love my air fryer !, I
use it more then the oven😀you guys are so fun to watch , keep up all the fun.
I'm starting again to do low carb. I came across your channel and enjoy it and you two bantering😊. I saw one of your episodes where you mentioned how people point out things that make you feel insecure at times. IGNORE THEM!!! continue doing what you do. Aww thank you!
I think we all collectively gasped when the borates came out. But it seems delicious. Can’t wait to try this
You need the instapot air fryer it's like mini oven and you can see inside & had light inside. My favorite part was the rotisserie inside and the basket that cooks things ❤
We use ours several times a day. Literally!
I made those peppers with cream cheese, mozzarella and bacon bits..so good!
I’ve had good luck coating items with parmesan cheese. They brown up nicely and seem to cling well
we will try it! thanks for the suggestion!
Add Parmesan to the artichoke “breading”! Yummy!
My grandmother was from Italy, I remember she would sometimes fry breaded artichoke hearts. Yum! Mostly though she served them in the marinade. I love them!
Thanks you two for sharing 🎉👌❤
Thanks for watching so quick Joe!
Um…should have read the other comments first!!! Lol, like freeze for the win!!
It was really good regardless but yeah I think freezing it a bit might have helped like others mentioned
nice. those chokes look great. thanks.
Have you thought about a Keto-Twin Cookbook? I’d sure pay for it!
Hi! These all look delish! Try freezing the cheese after breading it for a little before airfrying! Love you gals!
Yes Sherry, we’ve made onion rings with this method and theyre amazing!
I’ll try that in my air fryer next week….I’m on a 🚢 cruise and YES I INSIST on the Internet package to NEVER miss the UA-camrs I like to follow🥰
Thanks ladies.

Thanks for sharing your tip! I love artichoke hearts and will search for her recipe asap.
Thanks girls. You two are so entertaining! The recipes sound great, too!
Thanks Kathy!
I thought I'd mention saving the pepper seeds for the garden. Great recipes, even the one you considered a failure. Put the cheese in a ramekin and see what happens.
Will try thanks again
Great video! Mayo dip so versatile.😊
Good evening Keto Twins. That air fried burrata looks absolutely delicious - especially battered and coated with panko. Thanks for sharing another great high protein recipe. 👍👍
Burrata and artichokes two of my favorite foods! I have been making the stuffed mini bell peppers for years, I usually make up my own stuffing, but they are good!❤
On the buratta, try sticking it in the freezer for 15-20 mins then in the air fryer.
You need to try Indigo Nilis breading recipe. Pork rinds , egg white powder, gelatin and seasonings. You still use an egg wash in the process. Excellent !!!!
Use the small multi color bell peppers cut in half like you would for the jalapeno poppers.
Love your authenticity. Takes courage to show us the fails. I am glad you eat the fails anyhow! Why not! The Artichokes looked super good - inspires me to buy that monsta jar of artichokes from Costco.
Thanks Deb!!
I love Dukes too. These all look amazing & I’ll be making them for sure. Thanks gals for being so brave & trying all these recipes 👍
I have had my air fryer for years. The handle fell off and I have to wrap a bungee cord around it to hold the door closed. But I use it almost every day! Air fryer green beans are so good. I will definitely try the peppers. Thanks for all your great videos.
Some chopped jalapeno would be great mixed in with the cheese in those poppers..........maybe sprinkle some bacon bits on top?
I really liked how easy the peppers looked. I’m going to try that one for sure. My grandmother used to make me fried cauliflower, which I loved. I may have to try that and the artichokes at the same time.
What all are you putting truffle oil on? I’ve never bought a bottle because I didn’t think I could use the whole bottle.
We actually didn’t use the truffle oil, but the burrata had truffle in it
Love cooking wirh my air fryer, so much easier, thanks ladies❤

🤗🤗🤗🤗 hope you like them thea! That would be awesome to have an airfryer built in to Sarah’s oven!
Thanks! I’ll let you know once I figure it out!😂
The burrata still looks delicious, but before I put any cheese in my air fryer, I partially freeze it, and then it tends to hold its shape much better. 😋😋😋😋😋
I also chill any food I am coating in three-step method. The coating always stays on beautifully.
It was still really good!
You're so right! I never had okra before. Someone explained in detail about it and I just can not eat it EVER! I did try once but NOPE!
😊
Those artichokes do look yummy.
My favorite keto channel is Victorias keto kitchen. Her recipes with her perfected keto flour are delicious. I have made the biscuits and cookies. If you try any of her recipes, make sure you get the almond flour and oat fiber she recommends. It does make a difference.
They have made her cinnamon buns and loved them!
Yum will try
Again, ladies, egg white powder mixed into your flour or pork crumbles. It causes it to stick to what your frying. It's a 1/3 ratio
Even though your little balls 😂turned into pancakes they still looked delicious ❤
The is perfect! Just bought one two days ago....
Keto Scotch eggs!
love burrata!!
I love my air fryer, I had to dust my stovetop because I rarely use it.😊
I believe the second recipe the burrata would have worked perfectly had you put it in the freezer first for a little while before putting it in the air fryer
And I would add to this that you were working with the smaller burata balls, which would also have meant that the heat would get to the center sooner (less mass but roughly equal thermal gradient). That would make the whole thing much more melty. You might try it again with a single burata.
The fried Burrata would be really good in top of eggplant :-)
I’m definitely going to try the artichoke recipe. Yum! Only, I guess I’ll need an air-fryer first. Thanks, you two for another great video!
Anyway, this is LilMama CPA signing out!
You could do them in the oven. It would probably just take longer
I think you might have more luck with the burrata if you try just frying it like you did with the mozzarella- that way you can watch it and grab it out if it starts to melt.
But putting it in the freezer for a bit after dredging might also help a lot! Mall these recipes look great!
All look delicious! Wonder if the Burreta cheese works better with the larger size? Definitely trying the pepper recipe soon. TY!🫶
I think so! And maybe freezing the cheese a little before breading it would help!
@ketotwins Ok & it's actually a cheese I never tried! You guys are so fun and nice reading all our suggestions! I made zucchini w criss cross cuts fried in avocado oil & it's delicious!💐
I always use mini sweet peppers for "poppers" since the aftermath isn't hot!
I recently used carnivore crisp new Chicken flour!!! Would love to see you guys create something with it!!! I used it as a breading for fried chicken and it was fantastic!
We will try it! Thanks for the suggestion 🤗
Thank you
I love this show...you guys crack me up. suggestion, if you need to use panko or bread crumbs. why aren't you using the chaffles (left over pulse in the food processor) or toast keto bread and do the same?
That’s a good idea!
These all looked good to me. I think I would use the mini peppers instead of the large ones.
Our airfryer looks like a mini oven, so much better than the bucket. More space.
FYI mini peppers make great low carb nachos!
Our air fryer gets used 2-3 times a day at a minimum. I have a young adult and 2 teens.
Maybe with the second recipe place the breaded ball into a silicone mould , maybe it will hold its shape. oil the mould
Love my air fryer! 😉
You suffer for your art! Those wing sideburns like to fly, ladies. You have nice long sideburns, you can trim the last inch short With a slant shorter toward your ear and comb them back with the wave. Try it you might like it and if you don’t - just say so in the next video. Love ya!!
I think you have to get the burrata super cold/frozen before it goes into the heat.
Maybe double bread the cheese and freeze it for 20-30 minutes before air frying. That may help the outside solidify enough before it gets too hot and help to keep it intact.
Freeze the cheese first 😊👍 love you both btw. Totally enjoy watching you guys ❤
Look for the little "cutie peppers"- sweet bells that are red, green, yellow, or orange and about the size and shape or jalapeños...
An air fryer is in my list.
I’d try draining first and freezing the cheese balls first, then fix them and air fry them
I would love to try many of the products you use like the Borata with truffles. When you mention these could you say the name of the product/name brand, or where you bought it? I love your show, thanks for all you do, you two are wonderful.
We got it from the grocery store by belgioioso
@@ketotwins thank you.
Those recipes look delish! Have you heard of or tried Carnivore Crisps beef flour and chicken breast flour instead of pork rinds?
We just read about that actually but haven’t tried it yet!
@@ketotwins Please do and make a vlog about it! 😊
I think you should have used the gelatin breading recipes with the second recipe. Can you try it again with that please
Maybe try rounding the temperature down instead of up on the burrata. 😊
Oh well, Sarah. Oh well! Lmao. Your sis is so empathetic lol. Glad you didn’t up choke your artichoke. 😊
She ended up loving it lol!
