Bakugo is another example of the Quirk Singularity. His quirk is an improved, stronger version of his parents’ quirks. His father can oxidize his sweat by rubbing his hands together and cause small explosions with nitric acid and his mother can sweat glycerin all over her body, which keeps her skin young. Bakugo takes elements of both quirks and can sweat nitroglycerin from his palms that can create powerful, multi-use explosions.

I think Aizawa took in Shinso because they both have similar quirks in the sense that they are not useful at all for the practical entrance exam at UA, which heavily favours power type quirks since they are fighting robots (also true for Ms Joke and a bunch of other heroes) but VERY useful against human villains. Aizawa being the pragmatist he is probably feels that Shinso has potential being a good hero so screw those exams, and wants to help him. They might both have faced similar problems getting in to the school.
Back in season 4 during the Remedial Course arc Quirk Singularity was first mentioned by Seiji Shishikura from Shiketsu High School to Present Mic to explain why the Quirks of the kids from Masegaki Primary School are stronger than Quirks from older generations when Mic was their age.
It's pretty funny to think about considering that Mic's quirk was so strong that he burst the eardrums of his parents and the doctors when he was born. He was one of the rare ones that was born with his quirk, instead of unlocking it at 4+ years old. Considering a baby's propensity for crying all the time... those poor, poor parents.
the best theory is actually that theyre in order of who is clearest. all might isnt clear yet as a vestige because hes still relatively new and not fully developed in the power, and the other 2 that are unclear are most likely the oldest users besides the original
I think it's because the 2nd and 3rd disagreed with the other's plan and didn't believe Deku could do anything. They only appeared when they agreed to help Deku. So I think they were purposely hiding themselves. All might isn't last bacause he isn't a full vestige yet
Remember at the festival what was Shinso's weakness ? It was his physique and the fact you must answer to his questions to be brainwashed...He pretty much nullify both there by training his body, adding an instrument like that cloth to catch bad guys but most importantly, that voice modulator is absolute genius ! He can trick so many now, it's amazing !!
Which makes anyone facing him unable to talk, which is a HUGE weakness in team battles where communication is key. It's interesting since whilst him and Aizawa are alike in nullifying something we use daily, Aizawa's is more focused on 1v1 in a controlled environment, meanwhile Shinso becomes more powerful the more opponents he face and the more chaotic these fights are. That said if he manages to brainwash someone in a 1v1 scenario, it's game over immediately, whilst in a team battle there's a chance to knock them out of it. But if his opponents are aware of the quirk, just simply being there but not used causes more damage to a team than a single individual.
Well funny you mention Shinso looking like a villain because that's precisely what his point in the story is: Not only is he an example of how MHAs society takes the classification of 'hero' and 'villain' so far that anyone who has a quirk/looks like a villain is treates like one (which leads to them being outcasts, leading them ironically down the path of villainy) but also how the hero courses exams favor strong, physical quirks compared to ones like Shinsos (the actual hell was he supposed to do against the giant robots in the entrance exam) and thus crushing the dreams of those people as well (like Gentle Criminal for example)
Best case senario: like Deku everyone will need to train thier bodies to be able to handle thier quirks and it is not that big of a long term problem. Worst case senario: most people who get their quirks not only can't handle it but their 8ish year old bodies are destroyed by them. Hummanity may actually end becuase of quirks.
With Aoyama as an example we’ve already reached a point where Quirks are starting to be too much to bare for people. With people like Todoroki whose Quirk is basically like two having kids with others with similarly strong Quirks in nature it can quickly get to the point that a kid dies immediately as soon as their Quirk manifests. You can’t get babies working out hard enough before they become 4 years old.
Well can't they just choose not use their powers like civilians now do and problem solved? It would also help stop crime because people would have to work harder in order use them.
@@jaylan7847 The thing is that most people develop thier quirks when they are small children and use them without even realizing. When you guys saw those three kids 6:41 totoroki had half white and half red hair that red hair kid was not totoroki that was that was his other brother named Toya at that last episode remember.
From what I can tell, I think they weren't standing in order of successors, but rather the least visible to the most. The first 2 are completely covered in shadows/fog, All Might was all smoky and stuff (because he isn't dead?), and then the rest were normal. We know most about All Might's successor, so she might be there cuz of that.
Yes you are right. Only all might was not in order and that was most probably because he is not dead and he is not fully a vestige in ofa. I was wrong i didn't noticed 5th standing beside nana and 6th after 4th😊 (edit)
Yea back in season 2 it showed that same flashback shown in this episode that Shinso's classmates thought his quirk was more suited for a villain and were cautious that he would use it on them - which ties into how he viewed Deku's quirk as a blessing compared to his and not being able understanding what that was like for him during their match (kinda similar to how Bakugo who was viewed as a villain for his personality compared to Shinso who was viewed as more villain suited due to his quirk - and despite that both wanted to become heroes)
I don't know if I have a very good memory, but I don't understand how people (in general, not only here) manage to forget the things they watch. Obviously details get lost, but the story itself, I can say pretty much everything I've watched (after my teens) with a considerable amount of detail (although I sometimes confuse the order of some events)
They're forgetting that this is basically our world, but quirks just popped up one day. So witches and occult and stuff definitely could have been a thing
Between My Hero Academia and Haikyuu, the Normies couch feels nice and wholesome these days. (: Also, I too wish crunchyroll had subtitles for the dub, since I know you’re expected to talk and react during these things, but it does make it more difficult to hear/catch every little thing that’s being said.
Lol Suraj, Shinso's whole thing and backstory has been that people assume his power is villainous and it's a stereotype he doesn't like and he wants to be a hero. He's probably the least likely of the side character cast to become a villain.
A few things about the Deku situation: - the vestiges are out of order mostly so that we don’t know which one is which lol, yes the author wanted to fuck with us - reasons why deku met the vestiges and not all might? hypothesis would be that 1) OFA is past the singularity point as the first user said so it’s starting to “act out” in weird ways and 2) by nature of OFA as a power, it just gets exponentially stronger with each new successor so that could also be the reason why deku is able to experience things differently you guys guessed these tho I think, just wanted to clarify it for you in case you were still confused :D
@@malanasimms3596 I agree .. this arc is good .. but good as the next arc ..becuse the next arc was a risk from the Arthur ( Kohei Horikoshi) to an arc Not about the MC ....

Basically that episode was foreshadowing
Not sure how your schedules for watching a reaction are like, but perhaps Funimation is taking longer to get the subtitles out on time around for whatever reason. Perhaps you can wait to react to the series until the subtitles comes out if it is easier for you. If you can’t because of your schedule or simply just cannot wait because you want to see the episode when it comes out I understand. I have noticed sometimes Funimation gets the dub out for some of their anime so fast that they don’t have the subtitles yet for it. Those come out later. Maybe MHA will follow that pattern this time around and it would be better for you guys to wait.
My best guess for the order of the vestiges is that All Might (since he is still alive and it hasn't been long since he passed on the torch) is not fully formed in that world yet and two other wielders are still hidden from Deku and it probably would have looked weird to have those "shape persons" inbetween the "real" ones
I'm glad that they were able to still have good discussions. It was honestly a bit of a slower episode, but it's nice to have them toss around their predictions and ideas for the future. Truly don't know why they did Tsuyu so dirty, the most unnecessary shot

So in a way he's trying to right an injustice of the system by giving Shinso the tools to succeed.
When you guys saw those three kids 6:41 totoroki had half white and half red hair that red hair kid was not totoroki that was that was his other brother named Toya at that last episode remember.
I thought the older brother said Toya was his older brother.
"I kinda love him" (about monoma)
Thanks Marketa, the first person I've seen besides me who likes him😂
And she loves Shinso. Marketa got taste
The episode is great and all, but you heard the man. This video must get 5000 likes !
9:15 if you look closely at monomas graph you can see that there’s only a small percentage of viewers that are not subscribe
“All we remember is Micky dropping the remote during the Todoroki fight” Micky: 🥲
The order is 2,3,8,4,6,5,7. The two coverd in shadows are 2 and 3 and Nana is 7.
whatislove exo Nah the 6th and 5th were switched too
You guys aknowledging things you remembered wrong is so nice.
Makes you better reactors, keep it up!
Marketa and Suraj have the cutest laugh
Yea back in season 2 it showed that same flashback shown in this episode that Shinso's classmates thought his quirk was more suited for a villain and were cautious that he would use it on them - which ties into how he viewed Deku's quirk as a blessing compared to his and not being able understanding what that was like for him during their match (kinda similar to how Bakugo who was viewed as a villain for his personality compared to Shinso who was viewed as more villain suited due to his quirk - and despite that both wanted to become heroes)
is no one gonna mention how sero called todoroki “broki”😭
Another stupid Funimation dub addition. The original line is "It's like I'm watching early 'roki."
@@TheZapan99 it’s not stupid, i thought it was kind of endearing
@@TheZapan99 that’s an awesome line, didn’t know about that because I watch sub, but that’s better.
@@DVK111 And that's why Shoto goes "Wait, really?" it's a character development moment, but Funimation ruined it for nothing.
@@TheZapan99 it’s literally just an anime sentence why are you so mad about it
I don't know if I have a very good memory, but I don't understand how people (in general, not only here) manage to forget the things they watch. Obviously details get lost, but the story itself, I can say pretty much everything I've watched (after my teens) with a considerable amount of detail (although I sometimes confuse the order of some events)
It won’t be a mha reaction without rana praising shoto for just existing.
Damn, we got to that like goal fast 😂
There not ready for when season 6 drop
Nobody is my friend. Nobody.
@@ArtyrVandelae you know it
They are not ready for the other half of the season 5.😂
They are not even ready for 2nd half of season 5 😂. NOBODY is ready for MVA arc!!!
@@whatisloveexo5636 yeah your right but s
They're forgetting that this is basically our world, but quirks just popped up one day. So witches and occult and stuff definitely could have been a thing
Between My Hero Academia and Haikyuu, the Normies couch feels nice and wholesome these days. (:
Also, I too wish crunchyroll had subtitles for the dub, since I know you’re expected to talk and react during these things, but it does make it more difficult to hear/catch every little thing that’s being said.
Oh god bones is gonna snap!!! Can't wait to see some of the stuff later
27:40 you'd be surprised how much damage you could do with pigeons. for example you could take over all of Paris.
Lol Suraj, Shinso's whole thing and backstory has been that people assume his power is villainous and it's a stereotype he doesn't like and he wants to be a hero. He's probably the least likely of the side character cast to become a villain.
in this week of shit normies got wrong: aizawa's name lmao
2,300 likes in hours... Seems likely to hit 5k likes fast.
Looks like Rana is gonna be rocking a new hair color soon :p
A few things about the Deku situation:
- the vestiges are out of order mostly so that we don’t know which one is which lol, yes the author wanted to fuck with us
- reasons why deku met the vestiges and not all might? hypothesis would be that 1) OFA is past the singularity point as the first user said so it’s starting to “act out” in weird ways and 2) by nature of OFA as a power, it just gets exponentially stronger with each new successor so that could also be the reason why deku is able to experience things differently
you guys guessed these tho I think, just wanted to clarify it for you in case you were still confused :D
LETS GOOO CANT WAIT FOR THEM TO REACT TO THE NEXT EPISODES!!
That like bar looking preeety scary Rana.
Eh still need another 1.5k likes 👀
@@runamohammad3507 clapped, but in a good way lol
I found so cute when marketa and chris head bumped each other lmao 💖💖
This is the single fastest 5k likes I've ever seen for the Normies
Promise me this arc is better than Sports Festival, I'm on ep4 already and bones nailed it
As a manga reader
I just want to see the next arc ...... Madness ......
@@alucardsA-o5x same but this arc was good too so I’m not that anxious
No way this arc is better than Sport Festival
@@malanasimms3596 I agree .. this arc is good .. but good as the next arc ..becuse the next arc was a risk from the Arthur ( Kohei Horikoshi) to an arc Not about the MC ....

I think it will be one match per two episodes, so basically till Episode 12 (First Cour) is just an Training Arc...
6:45 I would like to say this as people give the episode too much slack (todoroki and bakugo getting their licence episode) when todoroki and bakugo had to take care of the kids for their licence the quirk singularity was mentioned and shown with some of the kids having very complex and powerful quirks like the trouble maker one.
Can't wait to see Rana in that new hairdo
23:13 And that's why Trunks could learn the mafuba through a Piccolo's tutorial
"She's a child!" says the person who squealed "Woo! Bakugo looking hot!" during Heroes Rising.
They are mainly not putting them in order to hide the 2nd and 3rd used which Horikoshi seems to be really trying to hide what they look like.
And just now the manga is revealing more about them. lol
Hey let’s actually get 5000 likes on this video not because of the hair dye but because they deserve it
“The only thing we remember is when Mickey dropped the remote” LMFAO
It’s worth noting that what Shinso is using that Aizawa has is called the “binding cloth”
They gave her a whole ahegao shot in S2, definitely not the first time.
Like the video! We must have red and white Rena hair!!!!
This arc although is one of the soft happy ones, it’s actually very, very, very interesting and amazing
The vestiges are in order. From the first to the seventh.
We have our VS line-up. Place your bets, anime watchers!
Mickey and his sigh mad me die they will never let him live it down lol
1:02 that “it’s been years you fucks” sigh
I think it like the accepted, the alive, then the unsure/no trust yet
Attempt #496: of trying to get The Normies to check out Symbionic-Titan or Primal.
Both made by Genndy Tartakovsky, the guy who made Samurai Jack.
9:08 He is a child!!! 😂🤣😂
we got the 5K Likes :D
C'mon guys. 5000 likes and we see Rana with Todoroki hair. If one out of every three people watching the video clicked the thumbs up, we would have been there three hours in. lol
Class 1 A vs Class 1 B !!! The ultimate flex of animation is starting now !!! Been waiting for that arc for a while...It's gonna be wild !!
Well. Bring out the todo dye
Shinso is so cool!
I think you'll add him to your "My favorite character list"
Almost at 5k. Rana better dye that hair!
17:15 - if that sneeze wasn't contained half the continent would've been demolished.......looks like we live to see a another day fellas.
I wait for Rana Taid his hair now
Come on lads! We're nearly at 5k likes
we made it
We did it..yay
I can tell you about All Might be weird in One for All but it wasn't really revealed until somewhat recently in the manga
I think endeavor had more potential as this twisted hero that would make anything to become number 1 hero and have that during a big portion of the series. That would’ve have made some insteresting storylines, and an Interesting unpredictable third party that we don’t know how is he gonna act. Instead we got 2/3 episodes of him being an asshole and then the next time we see him they’re trying to redeem him.
Have you read the manga?
"Why're they not standing in order?"
Oh you'll know ;)
If you get it right that is
If you look close enough at the red one for all user. one main features, looks like bakugo you can tell by his spiky hair and gauntlet on both side and also am sorry but forgot bakugo's friend Karishima he also looks like the 2 user of one for all. The purple aura cause of the gear on both of his shoulders and spaky hair just sayin just look close i swear am not Cappin 🧢
The only one standing out of order is all might. The reason why he's standing next to the other shadowy figures has to do with him still being alive, and the reason why the other two are shown as shadowy figures is because [REDACTED].
The order their standing in is 2nd, 3rd, 8th(allmight), 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th(nana), and 9th(deku).
