elliot: i don’t know much about this event
also elliot: * stands on stage with idols *
me: ...
Lisa Phan I know ATEEZ HE WAS RIGHT THERE WITH ATEEZ!!!
Knowing it took you like 100 takes to get that outro makes this so much better
Lol
“why do you guys say it like that? He’s not that cute” DEADDD😂
seriously these vlogs are so relaxing to watch 😌😌😌
Shan Rizwan I agree!!🌟
Omg I love both of your channels pls do a video together! :D
Shan and elliot in 1 vlog please
Being an Indian I can relate to the Korean culture, yep it's the same our moms cooks for us as home cooked foods are healthier, and we don't say I love you and all.
I’m Indian and I agree
Home cooked food is always the best hands down!
I AfrAm. I think most "minority" races have these similarities. That said, our schools (urban Black) generally provided free lunches and my mom didn't enjoy cooking at all. Asians (including Hindi, def invest a lot into their children, thinking, in fact, worrying, incessantly about the future). There is almost no cultural comparison to that.
Yup, No doubt about it!!
হ্যা সেটাই
"IF YOUR MOMMA PACKED YOU LUNCHABLES, YOUR MOMMA DON'T LOVE YOU" LOLLL i freaking love that Asian UA-camrs are friends. And representing for all us Asians out there!! My mom would pack me homemade food for lunch and other kids would make fun of me but guess who's putting turmeric all up in their "chai lattes" now LOL. Also get some sleep Elliot aww! You're so dedicated
Some kids would make me put my food away in elementary school because it smelled
u stand on stage with ateez i'm screaming
Anyone : How much cinematics you want elliot?
Elliot : *YES* !
As the Hispanic kid at a nearly all-white school, I hung out with a lot of Korean and Japanese kids growing up since I felt more included there. Always interesting hearing your perspective given that when I was eight, I wasn't exactly having insightful conversations about race with my friends. Great video, Elliot.
You would be included if you were actually Asian. Asians dont really hang out with other ethnic groups often. Not being mean, but it's just apart of the culture.
Oh my gosh! I am just blown away by seeing how much your are dedicated for editing this videos for us. I am speechless. Even though, you are awake till 4AM, you are glowing. I can't even say how much I am loving your videos than I used to. Please please please keep on making the content for us. I am enthusiastically getting to know your life as well.
Last but not the least, I LOVE YOU!!💜
I think Korean American kids are so lucky to have parents who motivate and support them. You are turning out pretty well. 😀😀
My motivation I hope you mean ass beatings cause that’s pretty much what it is. 😂 Don’t confuse is with white people motivation where it doesn’t work at all
My motivation I hope you mean ass beatings cause that’s pretty much what it is. 😂 Don’t confuse is with white people motivation where it doesn’t work at all
same as African parents, getting the word I LOVE YOU is such a hustle esp from Dads 😂😂😂😂
TEEN TALK I can relate to that😂
Yesssss
So true
As a 1st generation Haitian(afro caribbean)American with very sentimental parents I can't relate 😐
Yess
No one:
Not a single soul:
Elliot: are we getting food? 😂
I’m glad you realized that your parents love you and wanted what’s best for you. Growing up as a white American in New Orleans, my parents don’t tell me they love me, they’ve never pushed me to do my homework or play sports or make friends, and they’ve definitely never made me lunch. Now that I’m 20 I really wish I played an instrument or was involved in extra curriculars or school in general
i literally watched 1 video of you since i was just bored and since you were on my recommendation page and now i’m obsessed with watching your videos
Geez thought I was first but some of y’all lightning speed
Elliot is Korean???? My mind is literally blown... I always thought he was Chinese haha
I thought he was Vietnamese
Janet Diaz Sameee, he kinda looks viet but the last name threw me off
mvnst me too
Isn't he Chinese?
This guy looks 100% Chinese . Wide nose and lip is thick comparing with typical Korean look
The first time I watched his video I thought he was Vietnamese because he looked really alike
Being raised by Indian parents and having Indian roots makes me relate to this video! Asian parenting feels the same across the board! Great video!
Also, you said you check your DMs, please check Instagram I had a somewhat important inquiry
I like how the video is not just all about the title. I mean, there's so much awesome content under such a humble title.
Met jimmy and joon. bruh!
Algerian came lately to the state with my family of course. Mother cook for us healthier food and sit around table discussing sometimes mostly we discuss about tech and books...etc. and never say I love u .
North African/Berber history and people are so cool and interesting.
God bless!
I like how ur changing the videos a bit
I knew it! At first glance I knew you must be Korean... or related to Korean whatever.. I think I really possess a nice sense of distinguishing Asian people
I supposed to sleep right after reading book but then ur vid came out. Just couldnt wait untill tmr to watch it 😅😅. So grateful that u r working so hard to make a new vid while so busy with ur fulltime job but I hope that u take good care of urself cause staying up until 4a.m is not good for ur health.
2:14 +respect for getting on the stage 🙂
your face at 7:40 puahaha
I live in Brooklyn and the weather is honestly so hot😭 Subway is my nightmare in the summer time in NYC😂
I'm not a Korean American but just a Korean, it's good to see you. I enjoy watching your vlog.
it's kind of my healthy channel. I'm supporting all of your videos. I'd love to meet you soon, please come to indonesiaaa✊🇮🇩
Anyone else just like videos without watching them?

Just the fact that I saw the behind the scene of this outro makes it 100% better💪 keep on grinding elliot🍌🍌
In Brazil people say all love you all the time. So yeah, "I love you" doesn't mean anything sometimes ;-;
Hey Elliot, I'm an Asian too. I am Filipino American. Proud to be Asian American.
Being an Asian American is pretty difficult for me mostly because of racism and I am the only asian in my whole school(pre k through high school) and It is hard to live an american culture.
Wow! Thank u so much for sharing ! It really informed me a lot as an international student from Asia!
I watched both full ads to help you out !!! 👍💯
BTS At K-con and Elliot being there like *wtf I’m I doing here*
I don't think that was BTS....it was ateez I guess
@@yasticasikaria bts an in behind the scenes not the actual group
@@faith318 oh ok , my bad
faith behind the scene who ? U didn’t even show your face . U r the one who’s actually hiding behind and commenting like ugly shit . Grow up !!!At least they r a lot more successful than u
@@marshizulnoon1014 Chill. How was he commented like "ugly shit"?
The music at the end... How did you do it?? 😂😂 @elliotchoy we need the copyrighted high quality tasty music! 😂😂😂
For halfie's, standardized testing was so confusing! I didn't know if bubbling asian or caucasian as my ethnicity would give me a competitive edge or not 😂
Anyone else notice how fluffy Elliot’s hair is?
No?
Just me?
Welp.
shout out to the Instagram live squad that witnessed the outro ajaja
elliot choy, jimmy zhang, joon lee in one PLACE? no wonder all the youtubers are in the comments 😳
I'm watching this at almost 11 PM right now half asleep and ateez suddenly popped out AND NOW I'M WIDE AWAKE
I love that! “For some reason our parents like us to play instruments” Hahahaha I like how he approached that topic!
actions speak older than words
our asian parents show love just in a different way
interestingly, as a German I can actually relate to your experiences. My mom also made my sister and I practice piano every single day (even though at one point we both hated it, but now as an adult I am so glad she forced us because now I am really happy that I can actually play it). And we also never really say "I love you" to each other in our family. Just the lunch experience for me was a little bit different than yours - we always ate at school, but in Germany the school lunches are actually cheap and healthy (and tasty for the most part). But yeah, apart from that, our mom always cooked at home and we did not eat out much.
Like Elliot, I'm finding your very cool videos since I started watching, and you think that this style of video, you do not show only your life, but from other people from different schools or universities, different nationalities ... even more with this quality !!
this is so pure
One of the better vlogs in a while liked it v much
You were right next to ATEEZ OMG I’m dying you were right next to song mingi!
Me gustan tus vídeos. Saludos desde Ecuador.
I can relate to this so much, especially since I'm Korean-Bengali American, it's halarious
Lofi is my favorite genre to listen to when I want to feel relaxed and it’s good background music
Ps. I’m ABC (American born Chinese)
Can you do a whole video about the question « growing up asian american », because i’m interested in the answer. (Sorry for my bad english)
I was seriously thinking about how Elliot is in New York and KCON is in New York so like this had to happen 👏🏼😛
Livestream squad🍌🍌🍌!! It makes the video 10x times better knowing the effort that went in.
So many legends in one vid
OMG this station has always been in my mind, I saw it on movies hundred of times. Wish to be there one day..Love from ASIA
My favorite kpop group met u guys. I'm shook and speechless
My Asian upbringing was tough as well. I do thank my mother now for the comfortable income from hard work through the years.
collab of the century 🍌🍌
Oh my godddd Ateez i love them so much. Seriously everyone loves kpop and kdramas. Even i am a south asian its hard being asian. Love your vlogs. love from uk.
All this time I thought you were a Chinese😳
I've thought he was a Chinese for the first time I watched but he's Korean,
Same as I thought.
Really entertaining vlog! surprisingly I could see some parallels with german cultre. At least for my region, where I live....
I really like Elliot. This shirt looks good on you! :-)
It's weird because I'm Asian and my mother never made me lunch and she says "I love you" all the time. Well, I did play the violin for ten years, but she let me quit lol.
u and jimmy meeting up honestly made my day
OMG I didn’t expect to see ATEEZ in his videos. Omg Elliot I love you and ATEEZ UwU
Hey, Elliot, I'm Brazilian and I Love your Videos, Edit and all about your channel, but in some moments is complicated to understand what you guys talking about.
There are some Channels like yours that have subtitles and I think if you have subtitles in some videos you can expand your public. This is just a Tip, but i'll Appreciate if you do them! Nice Job, Bro! God Look in this new life! Hugs from Brazil!
Another AMAZING video ELLIOT!! 🙌👏
my friend is Asian and I can tell you he is smart, he's a good guy, he's in my physics and computing science class.
all your content is so relatable 💯
As an Indian, I can relate to you a lot, most Asian parents just have a different way of expressing their love for their children. They scold us only because they care for us and want us to be the best version of ourselves. Getting up early in the morning before us and packing our school lunch is just one of the indirect ways in which they express their love for their children. To any fellow Asian reading this, I'll suggest you not to grumble on every aspect and embrace your culture. Also, never think that your mom and dad are scolding you because they think that you're a failure, it's just the other way round..... sometimes we do tend to misunderstand them and judge them on the basis of their actions. And remember, when you're feeling down, it's always your parents who will try to help you out first, so never misunderstand them. Have a good day:)
I hear what your saying, I had a good chinese friend growing up and he to followed many old customs from his parents. When he left the house I think he wanted to just be regular guy and not the asian american like you talk about, just be himself.
Wow, Joon and ATEEZ all in one video!
growing up as an Asian Australian is very isolating cos it's weird interacting with outside groups
I hope can see u in real time next time and take photos with u elliot
bruh, i didnt know my man jimmy zhang would be in this video lmao
is that Emily Ghoul in the vlog?
I saw you at KCON recording around the con! Didn't get to say hi though, you looked pretty busy lol
Definetely go to KCON LA!!! hope to see u there!
so i neglected watching your videos for an entire summer but now i'm binging every video u have so uh
have fun reading all these comments LOL
Your videos always smooth man
Yes Joon Lee
That lunch comment has so much truth to it
was that Daniel Jang? The one who plays violin? Im a fan of his. Omg
You should do more collabs with other Asian-Americans! :)
Alex as a fan and subscriber I don't wish to belittle or take away from your heart-felt confession about not hearing the words "I love you" from your parents, that being said, you do not have to be Asian to experience this phenomenon. I am 60 and half-Sicilian and in the same boat as you :(
Also, I have many Asian friends at my work and what you say in this video, seems to be a common theme among Asian people (again I mean no offense, I am just making an observation).
Please keep making great content, I find you particularly interesting.
Thank you Elliot 🙏 you really inspired me
😱😱😵 Elliot just casually stood as SEVENTEEN walked in
bro it‘s literally every kpop fan‘s biggest dream to attend kpop
Keep it up Elliot
Love this topic. Keep it up!
When elliot said he watches Wong fu I can't tell you how happy I was.
