Dear Sarah, It's never a worry when knitting Mojo leaves briefly (or prolonged) for us diehard knitters, because it will always return. It may feel alarming at first but I like to embrace the other things it provides time for (like reading). Also whenever you are stuck on the english words, your point always comes across. We understand you and actually I am impressed at some of the words you use, not always typical words for english speakers. Once in a while we may correct you in the comments and it's never in a malicious (mean) way. Mostly it's because you portrait a true desire to improve.....Happy belated birthday.
This is my first time watching your podcast. You are amazing and so enthusiastic. I like yarn, too. I get overwhelmed because I want to crochet everything. Your yarn color are beautiful. What a lovely gift from your family.😊
Well Sarah, Happy belated Birthday! It sounds like you and your family and friends had a wonderful week together. I’m very excited with anticipation for your blanket. I always like to get something that reminds me of the destination for my trip. Have a wonderful time planning and building your memory blanket.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if you could make little house shapes for your blanket! You could make a square with a triangle on top for the roof?! My heart is truly jumping with the thought 😂😂😂❤
❤❤❤❤your beautiful colours for your Prague house’s blanket Sarah. I feel a crochet blanket is needed in my life too! I especially like the Attic 24 Fireside Blanket. Like you, I can feel overwhelmed by all the choices we have available to us. So many choices but so little time! ❤
Thanks again Sarah. A lovely chatty podcast. I sometimes feel overwhelmed by too many crafty choices and I can only describe it as spinning on my wheels. I just can’t decide what to cast on. This one or that or should I look for something else, and what if I can’t do it. I have to just stop and settle for a while and just start something. I get overwhelmed by all the choices, the yarn, the patterns, the colour combinations. I also think it a good thing you keep your family and family time private.
Your english vocabulary is really exceptional. When you have trouble remembering “horizontal” just think of looking at the earth’s horizon (or a horizontal view of a sunset).
Prague is beautiful. I was looking at pictures of it on my google earth app. The buildings are so colorful. Your yarn will make a beautiful afghan. Love your podcast. I live in Ohio in the USA .
Hi Sarah, have a look at the Babette Blanket by Kathy Merrick for Interweave Crochet as well - it is a lovely fun blanket pattern as well. Love your podcast! Thank you from Sydney, Australia Tracy
Hi Sarah, you are an artist and the yarn is your paint….. you play, combine, rearrange and play some more. Enjoy each granny square and I love the idea of starting your day with a time of heart jumping moments. Treat yourself well and everyone is happy!
Happy Birthday 🎉 what a great way to celebrate with a special yarn shopping spree! I love your colors inspiration for your blanket project. It’s going to be a beautiful family treasure and a wonderful reminder of your time in Prague. I’ll have to check your Ravelry projects for your brown headband you’re wearing today which I love and would like to knit one too.
I must laugh so much at the end of your video when you pick up the balls of yarn . I could be you in that moment. I really feel the joy of your hands picking up the wonderful color combinations. Like a child would do: I LOVE IT! Thank you Sarah for your naivität , I don't know how to say it in english, sorry ;-) Have a nice autumn knitting time, dear Sarah 🤎🧡🤍
HI Sarah, really related to your joy of ALL that yarn! So great you live in a supportive household xx Lynn (knifton on Ravelry) from sunny Western Australia
Thank you Sarah, So lovely to see you & listen to your Chatty podcast...Oh my goodness your Prague blanket is going to be Stunning the colours are gorgeous, such a lovely way to remember your Trip & Birthday 🤍🏚🧡🏠🤎
Just found you today! What a fun and enjoyable podcast! Thank you for sharing. I especially loved hearing your ideas about your heart jumping (adorable!!) moments at the beginning of the day. I am just the same way thinking I don’t want to get out of bed……, but wait…., yes I do! I have a heart jumping project to get to!! 😊
Sarah, thank you s much for talking about the shoulders and extra fabric and how you dealt with it. You may have helped me keep a pattern I was feeling like I was going to have to frog. I may not have to now. I’m going to pin t where I would sew it and see if it will work for my sweater as well. I always enjoy your videos. You have many very nice warmer weather sweaters and tops too, they are all very nicely made.
When you were talking about traveling to Prague I wanted to see how far my family is from me in the United States. My oldest son is 2240 km (1392 mi), my mother is 1445 km (898 mi), my youngest son is 278 km (173 mi)! And they are all different directions from me too. I would love to visit Europe and see the different countries. I also collect yarn from the places I visit. I have started writing about the yarn shop and which skeins I bought. We knitters are all alike!
I enjoyed hearing about your time in Prague and loved seeing all of the yarn you bought. I’ve made the Fireside blanket and think that those gorgeous colours you’ve chosen will look great!
Hi Sarah, Many thanks for another great episode. I love the idea of making something as a memory of your trip to Prague with your family and you have chosen some beautiful colours. Have you seen the designs on Ravelry by an Australian, Jake Henzler, for rows of houses in Copenhagen and Sydney? They are really lovely and might given you some inspiration for your colour blanket - perhaps some houses 'dotted' across the blanket of autumn colours...... Best wishes from Australia.
Happy Birthday Dear Sarah 🎉🎉🎉 I'm always enjoying your podcast and your story about travelling. I absolutely love your picture from yarn shop😮,yours eyes and yours concentration what wool can be picked up.I think all of us knitters of course me is well looking the same when we are in yarn shop. The wool you picked are beautiful, and I'm sure you do amazing Prague blanket ❤ Greetings from Scotland
Belated happy birthday dear Sarah 💐🥂🍀 Thank you for this joyful and beautiful podcast with soooo nicely yarns in wonderful colors 🤩 and other beautiful things 🤩🧦 Welcome again at your home 😉 I wish you much fun while knitting and crocheting your lovely projects 🧶👍🤩 Lovely regards from Germany 🙋🏼♀️❤
Hi Sarah, it’s Marianne. I just want you to know that I make my own pattern better than I follow them because I never can remember all the changes when somebody else does it but you do perfect work whatever you do is good and I know you can make your own patterns, however when you start going into different sizes and different yarns, it’s not easy so be careful and just have fun
Sarah, the sweater you're wearing is so beautiful and I'm inspired by your color choices! I love how you used the sewing machine to make it fit the way you wanted it to. I occasionally do similar alterations when something isn't quite right with what I've made and it is so empowering ! It also seems to make the item even more special. Thank you for another lovely podcast ❤
Lovely episode! So wonderful to see your hands embrace those colors, three by three. Your have the heart and eye of an artist! Yes, the houses echoed in the blanket...you have to make granny squares? What about granny irregular pentagons? Start somewhere and just put the houses one behind the other until you like the size of your colorful village...?
Your blanket or going to be absolutely gorgeous and you chose such beautiful colors. There is a really cute crochet pattern for a blanket that has little houses on it. I’m not sure how pretty it would be or if it’s your style but it made me think about the houses you showed on your pictures. Such a great idea to make a blanket with all those pretty colors 💖💖💖
I love places that have colorful houses and am inspired to go to Prague, possibly in the Spring! Love all of the colors you picked for your blanket! For the words you were searching for: cookie jar, on the way there and on the way back 😘
Happy birthday Sarah! 🎉 I understand your inspirational overload, I feel like that too. There is a cute shawl pattern called Silverlake by Jessica McDonald with your yarn from Prague. You are so cute with excitement with all your colored yarn from your vacation. I too am excited to get up in the morning to drink coffee and knit. I love that cookie stamp! Glad to see you back!
Oh I love all those colours. What a lovely idea to make a patchwork of the beautiful houses. I have the Fireside Blanket pattern, but haven’t worked on it for a while. Maybe you will inspire me to work on it again when I see you making yours. Belated birthday wishes to you. I’m so glad you enjoyed your visit to beautiful Prague. 🧡💛🩵🤎💚
Happy birthday🎉 I am so very excited about your blanket. Sandra Paul cherry heart also has a pattern on her blog that has different size granny squares. It is called vintage, sweethearts blanket. It is super cute. You might want to look at it.
The heart jumping time with your Prage blanket colors made me happy as well. Farbenfroh me too 😍 the dilemma with the cookies I had the same thing... I put some dietary fibre in the dough: Psyllium husks (Flohsamenschalen) and about 30% grounded brown rice which makes it nice and crunchy and instead of sugar which is addictive - I take grounded dates or date sugar and Coconut blossom sugar may be something to try .... happy birthday additional!
so glad you had a good time. You shouldn't film or share when you don't want to. I was worried you were sick ....or something. Your yarns and projects are lovely
Happy Birthday for last week from a fellow November child (my birthday is the 7th). Prague sounds lovely - I have heard it is beautiful. There's a cute/creative granny square pattern (free) on Purl Soho that has different colour combinations rather than different sized squares (/create/2021/09/17/fair-and-square-blanket-crochet-version/).
Sarah I love that sweater and to me that is true brown. I love brown too. I think my love of the sweater is because of the neckline.i have never knitted with letlopi but I will try and let you know how it turns out.
Hello Sarah.I am very glad that you enjoyed your stay in Prague.I just finished knitting a socks from Crazy Zauberwoll ( Magic Zauberball Stripe Socks on Ravelry) and it was fun knitting.Mirka
Sarah, the yarn colours for your blanket are beautiful, and will be such a wonderful reminder of your happy family time in Prague. The only downside is that now I crave to knit a Fireside Blanket and I am only half way through the Culmination Blanket I currently have on my needles. Will I be able to wait until that is finished? 😀 Looking forward to next Monday's episode. ♥
Sarah, I absolutely love the idea of your Prague blanket. The colors are beautiful and look exactly like your pictures! I will be doing this someday when I travel to a lovely place that I want to remember.
Prague blanket is so fun! I’m glad you had a good time! Oh I saw a cardigan on ‘thethoughtfulknitter’ podcaster called Granny Go Round Cardigan- and thought of you. How fun you will make a Prague blanket.
Hi Sarah, do you know the CROWDED HOUSES QUILT AFGHAN, C2C CROCHET PATTERN? This blanket would be a perfect representation of the colourful houses you saw in Prag, I think. Many greetings from Germany, Andrea
Maybe you could use the word, "evaluate" the yarn, so you would know what's available before purchasing. I could think of other ways of saying this too. Nevertheless, we understood exactly what you were communicating to us :)
you could have a look at the Babette blanket by kathy merrick, just for inspiration - or is this too random for you? no matter what you choose, it will be a hartjumping project because of the beautifull memories of Prague.
I realize that I’m in the minority, but I find filming very intrusive, sometimes violating. It makes sense to me that it is difficult for you to film when you are connecting with people. Film , for me can connect me to objects, crafts, art. It can capture images of people I love, but not them. I think we need vacations from even the things we love. You deserve breaks from filming. Good for you!💗
Budget? What is a budget LOL. Actually, I do have a budget for yarn and fabric. Since I don't buy clothes for myself (I make almost everything), my yarn/fabric budget is my clothing budget.
Sarah what is your necklace beads are them amber? I would like to make myself a necklace like yours and I love your travel video's too. From Alberta Canada♥
Sarah, do not worry about the technical setting. I come to see you and hear about your crafty adventures.❤️

By the way, Sarah, did you finish your husband’s sweater? I am dying to see it.
