It’s the super charger poof poof. 🛻💥💨 you need a real reliable source of management of the ecu. Fuel tech, holly dominator,Hal tech. Ect…. Piggy back controllers are junk
Hemi is over twice the dry weight, great engines but the super charger is a better way to go for this application. The V6 supercharged is the perfect balance between flotation and traction. It's a much more balanced rig. If they could get another 100 HP out of that V6 stock without the supercharger it'd be a mastpeice.
@@rcole4092 throwing boost on something that experiences a lot of partial throttle driving will shortened the life of the engine. Unless it’s factory boosted of course.
@@6point1hemi Yeah I get it man, even tearing these down, swapping internals they still can't take it. If you can afford it, these things handle off road really well with the lighter engine in it.
@@rcole4092 I completely agree on the v6 vs v8 argument but that's not at all what im saying. My beef is with these supercharger companies convincing people with no engine building experience to supercharge an engine with a 11.3 compression ratio. You either need to pull a ton of timing, add water meth, run it on ethanol or tune it really rich to combat the pre detonation from boosting a high compression engine. Non of these are practical options for people who need to daily these Jeeps so you end up with blown up 3.6 pentistars. OR you end up with a Jeep that performs the same as it did stock because a reasonable tune will basically just exchange spark timing for boost. These engines have to much compression to support forced induction. The super charger companies blame Jeep for the blown up engines but since the supercharger voided your warranty Jeep isn't going to touch it and the customer is now stuck with a great truck that can't drive. I've met a dozen or so people in this exact scenario 3 of which are the owners of 4x4 shops. I hate seeing people get taken advantage of in this way.
Congrats on your new trail wrecker it looks awesome. On the original trail wrecker, Did the engine misfires/codes started after the supercharger or before?

Can’t wait to see how this all turns out. Rooting for a nice hemi swap, more reliable power. I’ve seen a few builds now boosting the 3.6 and doesn’t seem to like the boost which sucks.
I find the Fox shocks that come with the Mopar lift to survive pretty well in Canada too. The Falcons are on another level though. We have some unforgiving conditions up here for sure...even King shocks/springs rust pretty quickly.

I feel like there’s so much play in the adjustment it just won’t get tight. Constant clunking around. New build is sick!
Excited for the new build. I fully understand the abuse that the gladiator took from what we've seen. And im sure it's a lot more intensive behind the scenes of what we didn't see.
