The blades will come with a guard, swop them onto the ones in the wagon while you take them out to protect yourselves ,don't try and undo the old blades in case you slip ! ( hello Mr Grinder!) Cordless prefably!
Keep the blade guards in the workshop in case you need to get in for any reason 👍👍
I like that Joe
Great video Joe
Molasses arrived! Great video as always joe, keep up the good work 👍
Another great video, Joe, and I do hope you get better weather soon 👍
Molasses arrived 👌
Nothing wrong with ploughing , I wouldn’t have any winter crops in if I hadn’t ploughed and powerharrowed drilled 👍🏻
I think it will soon be back in fashion if we keep having years like this!
Nice truck with the molasses 😮
Nice one Joe some nice trucks turned up today
I've asked a couple of times about hows em getting on be nice for u to get her to the farm to let everyone know hows she is getting on with her new journey mate
If you do go and get more of them feeding trough for the cattle see if u can get the back of them a bit lower so ur mixer can put de feed in them and for the ones there now u could cut a bit of the back of them to lower the back of the feeding trough down so u can use the mixer in to them
Another good video Joe glad to see your molasses turned up been continuously wet here in N Ireland too all winter & spring ground quite sodden can’t get any drilling done either & haven’t even finished muck spreading or started ploughing yet Getting concerned for the spring beans because i if they’re not drilled in nevt 2 weeks they’ll never ripen there’s no s barley drilled near me either & probably none drilled in the whoe county Hopefully the who of uk & Ireland will dry up before long By the way do I get a free hat lol
Was nice to visit the farm and see u last week with out newest addition Joe
... keep up the great work feeding the country and hopefully see you soon. i have a few things to show u lol
Hi Joe, watching in Dunedin New Zealand. Have you asked the fellas that make the troughs if they can an 800mm back to suit the mixer?
Molasses. Great video Joe . I hope Ben's mower turns up
Great video! Molasses showed up 🎉
Joe can you check in with Michael from GCS …… he loaded a video up a little while ago… seems under pressure….
I’ve been trying to get in contact with him multiple times over the weekend, I am happy to say he has been in touch today. He knows that I am one of many people who has a lot of time for him!
@@joeseels nice one Joe 👍🏻
‘Mollasses arrived Joe’
Good video Joe 🚜
Thank you ☺️
If your mixer breaks down you can always feed silage bales/ hay though your straw chopper into them new throughs
Looks like you need another molases tank Joe so you don't be without. Another great video Joe.
Molasses tank is big enough for one and a half Lorry loads… probably should have had it ordered for Friday not Monday
Good video Joe
Hi Joe when you put new blades on your mixer wagon I put copper pipe insulation over knives as when I replaced the ones at work ended up having stitches in my hand hope that will help and took them all off when I finished them all
Great video as usual 👍
Thanks Neil
Molasses arried but shes not a proper scania unless shes a V8
Sounds like you need to put some sort of temp lift for the feeders. Like some sort of wedge for the tyre to just bump up a little. Don't know what you have laying around. otherwise I suppose you could use planks for the time being? How long are the bins?
Molasses arrived 🤣
Hi joe would you do a breakdown of what you feed the cattle per head, thanks
Would cow brushes not keep them cleaner and save you some trimming?
Possibly, but they are more difficult to place in our yards where the floor rises due to the muck… plus one big stumbling block is most of the sheds don’t have electricity.
Molasses arrived at last. lol
Molasses arrived😂
Great video could u not lay some wooden sleepers down in front of the new trough’s to drive one side of the mixer on? And that would lift it up by 6 or 8 inch
It’s possible but, think they would get some hammer with 20t + going over them twice a day plus straw blower etc. I like your thinking though 😀
@@joeseels they normal have trains running on them sure they be fine 🤣🤣🤣🤣🙈
Could you sink the troughs in 4 inch?
What does Trafford Gold smell of?
Those troughs will pay for themselves in no time. Fatter stock means?
Molasses arrived
How why not buy an elevator discharge for the mixer
Yeah that would be the cure, just not sure on the price
Second
Nearly 😂
First
Thanks paddy 😀
