Awesome content as usual Tim and you have to respect the pride that the Dutch have for their Awesome looking truck's and yours looks right at home there with them . 😊👌👍
Always funny to see foreigners being amazed by something that's totally normal to us. Every official interaction glides as smooth as a soapy substance on a shower floor. Glad to be Dutch!
i love how excited you were for the extra long truck! You should see Aussie road trains if you think that's a long truck! hahah! But yeah, when I lived in the UK it was well weird to not see multiple trailer trucks.
Like a kid with a new toy, great way to be in this job, people get fed up and can't remember what it was like when we first got let lose with an artic, and all the mistakes and learning along the way, don't change.
@@MrGreendew2 wow, i might go spot it one day! I really wanna hav a look at more turkish plats and morocco plates rather than French, German or Netherland plates
Pretty sure Tuesday is pie day or something on the ferry’s, we have operation TAP on the A20 every Tuesday pretty much every week. The reason for the no horn signs is because truck drivers in the Que seem to think leaning on the horn will open up a secret passage to France or something. I live on the estate next to the A20 and it’s a total nightmare when the horns are going mad in the early hours
I assume you know but just incase you don’t. Unless you have a new smart tacho, at each boarder you have to stop and change country. Uk>france>belgium>holland etc
Absolutely brilliant work Tim. Love the fact that we've gone from data shredders all the way to the Netherlands in your own custom truck. 👍😁❤️keep up the awesome work and hopefully see you at truckfest Lincoln 🤩
I love your videos. I’ve come all the way back to the very beginning and watching them more. My wife can’t help laughing at all and that is takes a lot for her to laugh and send your friends mad.Hater the only thing I am got on my driving license is an HGV. I’ve got everything else put me off getting it because I was disabled. They’re not a lot. People wanna take disabled drivers these days but I still love to drive HGV just for the hell of it.
Cool see mainfreight trucks in Europe considering its an New Zealand company. (Tim you need to see their class 5 rigid trucks with trailers) you’d fall in love
Whenever I hear ‘Dover’ I always remember one particular day When I was on a school ski trip to Austria, it was on the night from 31 mar to 1 april 2023, which was when french border control was doing something but border control, and it took 12 HOURS to get on the ferry. It was already 1pm starting from 12am when we first got to Dover. Quite an unlucky moment I wanted to mention, so be glad nothing like that happens now
btw on the boat sometimes they leave the gates open so it dont matter about the letter for ex if its 5 you can go to the overside and you will be on 5c or wtv where ur truck is jus a example
23:47 that is a Mainfreight truck. That company started all the way in New Zealand and is now a multinational carter. You should see the trailer sizes in New Zealand compared to Europe lol and the trucks! American and European cross breeding lol.
IM so so Happy that you came in my dream, what happened in my dream: I was coming to a stop then I saw you go past by but I didn't get to record you because you are going to fast then I go to a cafe and see you again with your V8 sounds on, first time seeing you because I'm from Malaysia and you are from the UK,so nice seeing you
16:16 Yep, one giant speedbump! my friend just got his CDL and now he has a higher-paying job! He said he practiced for free on CDL Prep. i'm thinking about getting one
Hey Tim, great video as always. Did you do a video of when you went to Skegness Raceway with all the banger racing cars on the low loader? That would be great to watch. I go there to watch Brisca F1. Also do you know Dave Polly, he races Brisca F1 now
When heading to Netherlands you should stop in Joost truck stop, a massive shop that sells everything you could possibly want. You'd be better off getting a euro toll box so your covered for all the countries and getting a DKV fuel card.
Well done Tim, owner op to, alot of hurdles but ye managed it, havent been across in some years, loved my time across there, good luck and greetings fae scotland 🤙🏴🏴🏴
Could you have pumped more gas if you had fed the card in and used chip and PIN rather than contactless? Or was that not an option? Good grief: you're in a dedicated TRUCK LANE! 125l?! lolz
so how dose the work time log book work in the UK?, in new zealand, we can drive for 5.5 hours have a half hour break and another 5.5 and another 30 minutes, then we must take a 10 hour rest period to total one cumulative work day, The maximum cumulative work period is 70 hours where a 24 hour break is required
Another great content tim,Brings back a lot of memories, shame about the fuel pump only allowing 125 ltrs, a time also,it just goes to show how bad uk roads are ,safe journey home mate
I’m pretty sure I saw you in trowel services yesterday or another service station with mega tight parking like rigids to park behind artics due to bay sizes

at 4:59 you say "its twenty to eight in the evening". At 5:08 you say :it's 8 Pm" but then your ticket says the 19:40 boat, were you there for 234 hours? Which is not possible or is the time in the truck wrong?
We loved welcoming you. And very much look forward to the next part! ❤
