OH NO! My alternator is HOT, but it's OK. Really. Seriously, it's OK.

Trying to EXTINGUISH some of these temperature questions before they inevitably start coming in.
1. Will your alternator get too hot to touch? Yes.
2. Should you touch it when it's running or after you turn it off/pop hood? No.
3. It's too hot to touch but still putting out 14+ volts, is that OK? Yes.
4. I don't have any issues with my alternator but i'm looking for one. Where should I look? The mirror.
5. My factory power wire on my alternator is melting, is that bad? Yes, because you didn't read our instructions on www.mechman.com
6. My voltage used to be 14.8 when there was snow on the ground, now that it is 100* outside my voltage is 14.5. Is my alternator blown up? No.
