Eventually, Danny Devito (who was directing the film) approached her and said, "You know what the problem is? You're the only one dancing!". He then told everyone on set, including the film crew, to dance along with the music; even the camera operator bounced his foot slightly to keep time. The trick worked, and Wilson's joy during the scene ended up being completely genuine.

Some people won’t like it but hey you can’t please everyone this’ll literally be the funniest thing I’ve ever seen and will light up my entire year. Side note: some people have crippling trauma related to roads e.g being in a horrific accident this doesn’t mean you shouldn’t tell the chicken crossing the road joke, some people are broken and that shouldn’t stop something funny from bringing joy to 1000s if not millions of people
At 1:26 that moment where he goes back. The heavy breathing, the way his face reacts uncontrollably out of horror, the way his voice sounds scared. Its hard to believe this isn't real, Devito really is a fantastic actor, his acting is so real.
I love how you can see him looking around as he's describing the school, like he's reconstructing it in his mind like he was there, like he can still see the guards and drains as clear as day
It’s a real testament to the writers of It’s Always Sunny that the show has been able to create actually pretty complex and tragic characters whilst being absolutely hilarious and making them absolutely despicable. Although their bad deeds seemingly have no end, you never want to stop watching.

Danny Devito is an absolutely brilliant actor. I don't know how the eff he didn't laugh. Amazing commitment to such a dark comedic moment. Even Kerri Kenney if you look closely starts to lose it at the beginning. You feel bad for him but then you listen to the actual words and you're laughing to tears. One of my favourite scenes from one of my favourite shows.
Man this show got super real for two and a half minutes. I wasn’t sure to laugh Danny was so convincing. Then it had the bike bell when it transitioned to Dennis and I died laughing. This episode was right after Charlie humiliated Ruby Taft which also shocked me. Season 8’s getting weird but I love it
I love how she was almost gonna break character before moving the scene forward. Having Danny Devito look at you confrontationally as he's spitting seeds isn't gonna make things easy because of how ridiculous the premise is.

I’ve got most of this scene memorized and one day when a buddy and I are watching this ep, I start acting it out as Frank and my friend said it looked like I was actually about to start crying. As hilarious as it is, this is a legitimately great performance from Danny Devito.
