This programme is pure gold, everything about it. It’s got humour on a whole other level yet still has those heartwarming moments such as Mac coming out to his father yet frank got connected, and Charlie carrying his father up the hill in Ireland. This show needs an award
Still can't believe Charlie did that to Alexandra Daddario. Although, I suppose by being so cruel to her, he saved her from a life of squalor & misery with the Gang. Not quite sure how that balances out, morally....
There was that time Frank showed up at her place during a wake(?) and stole her rug after getting high in the bathroom. Not really life-ruining but still.
Sending Pete to away on the train was the best thing they could do for him to get him as far away from their group as possible look what happened to cricket the fewer interactions with their group the better off a person is
I read once that Dee was originally written as the stereotypical long-suffering, lone voice-of-reason female character but Kaitlin Olson insisted that Dee be as big a narcissistic jackass as the rest of the gang. Such a good call.
There's some kind of perverse philosophy or psychology behind why we love the show. I guess if you look at Freud's theory of the id, could have something to do with it. Some kind of savage unconscious from our 200,000 years pre-civilization comes out here
