I have that episode! I have a massive archive of video stuff. I'm hoping to be a full time creator soon so I have time to get the stuff on my channel. Thanks for watching!
Very cool, Jon. Loved your story and your descriptions of your emotions when meeting him. I think that’s exactly the way I would be. I’ve had the chance to meet Chicago, Charlie Rich, and Norah Jones in my lifetime, and I was pretty much mesmerized and nervous around all of them. So I can only imagine the nervousness I’d feel around Paul. Everything seems so fast while it’s happening, and then you look back on it and you can’t even remember what all was said. 😊
Thanks for watching! And thanks for sharing your own experience. I'm trying to come up with a forum for people to tell their own stories. I might start doing some livestream stuff!
Superbly done John, thanks man when you were speaking about the Hi girls 😅 part I remembered in all the biographies I'd read in the eighties it was kind of implied how much Paul loved the girls especially in Liverpool, one referred to him as the Town Bull in Liverpool pre fame or beatlemania at least, ànd I don't know why but I just got a belly laugh 😂 anyway how awesome you met sounded great the way you felt and the film, thanks again brilliant mate....
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a comment. I’m editing a new episode right now and your comment gave me the juice to keep working. I sincerely thank you!
@JonBlackstone if you're previous work is a guide John you're creating an awesome legacy man, and millions of music fans should see them, cheers mate...
OH WOW!! I can’t even imagine meeting him!! You handled it very well. - how fortunate you had something for him to sign and something he wasn’t even familiar with!
I was so excited when I met Elton at the Spectrum on the Breaking Hearts tour, he signed six of my tour books. Then I got to meet him again in 1992. He even took pictures with me which I cherish to this day!
I can't tell you enough what this meant to me..Linda sounds like I thought she would..I admired her so much. She and Paul were soulmates..for sure..Man..I have to watch this again! Thank you so very much!!
Great story.I remember when John was alive telling a friend we're so close to NYC we should go in and hang around near the Dakota to try to see John on the street. ( Now wait, I know that sounds creepy in light of what happened ) I used to think of a clever line I could say to him. But alas
I met Paul, many times, sometimes with Ringo. George sang Dark Horse because I asked him to. There’s a famous pic of John, James Taylor and myself at a party in 1977. I’ve never wanted to make a video
Hi mate. I was lucky too to meet Paul & Linda. We won a prize via MTV to have dinner with them in London back in 1990. Here's a clip/snippet. Regards, GAZ (Melbourne/Australia) ua-cam.com/video/ONeREjzLGIg/v-deo.html
I remember the CBS show 48 hours doing a full episode surrounding this tour - Thanks for sharing your story

This is an amazing story! I appreciate you sharing it! Have you ever recorded your memories of the time you spent with them in more detail?
You've got some guts. It's cool that you met him, but I think it's pretty invasive of you.
“Invasive”? I’m intrigued.
Well, I guess sometimes it's not easy being Paul McCartney...😮
