Fantastic overview and lecture thanks so much 💚 would you still recommend these late 2022? And between the cinelog 25 vs the tinygo 4k kit, which would you recommend for someone looking to hop onto manual Fpv for cinematic use (once I'm good enough)? Mostly indoor, as I have dji drones for outdoor cinematics.
Thanks Mike! I do still keep the same opinion despite all the time that has passed since I made this video. For indoors flying the cinelog25 will be better than the tinygo. The tinygo is analog and can record to an SD in 4K but without any kind of stabilization. The quality is ok to show your friends, but flying is still analog. The cinelog is digital giving you that great flying experience and then you can add action cameras if your choice to do your recording. Besides, the cinelog25 is one of those drones which are just amazing and I still keep flying it despite time.
The drone will fly, specially if you are not carrying an action camera. The question is how would it fly? the PID is definitely not made for that kind of weight.
I want the 25 V2 03 and planned to use it with the DJI goggles 2 and possibly the dji controller 2 as I could use it with the avata, also. The other option is crossfire. Also wondering if gps is necessary when 03 had GPS, also. Honestly not of fan of dji and all the damn permissions. Looking for opinions.
Hi. I don't think GPS is that useful in these small drones to be honest. The 25 V2 is very popular. Now, to the question of DJI control vs Crossfire: I alway suggest my customer to chose either crossfire or ELRS. It's comfortable to use DJI radio if you already have the radio but I don't trust that control link as I trust ELRS or crossfire.
Thanks for your perfect comparison. Now we can see the dimension to the other. What did you think about the flight time with a 4s 850? With GoPro 7 or naked. Thx
Thank you!, flight time for which drone? for the 25 an 850 with naked gopro is not ideal. The drone will fly, but not nicely. The 30 and the 35 handles it much better. In fact, I normally use 700 or 850 with the cinelog30 most of the time. The 35 is better with bigger batteries, around 1000, 1100
Hi! Excellent vid. In your opinion, which would you recommend for real state cinematic jobs? Mostly indoor some outdoor of generally 2-story buildings, we do get a few 15 stories plus high rises. And where does the new cine bot 30 mix in? Would you recommend it for this purpose? Appreciate the input!
Hi Arturo. I haven't test the new cinebot yet, but I'm pretty sure it should be similar to the Cinelog30. If you are mostly filming indoor the C25 is the best options. You can use the C25 for some easy outdoors (If you check my review of that drone you will see that I'm even chasing a gokart with the C25), but if you are into the O3, you can't go down to a C25, and the Cinebot, or the upcoming Cinelog35 O3 are your best options. If you are into the O3 and you are still filming mostly inside, then Cinebot 30 is the best options.
I will use the C25 and a naked GoPro. But I understand a lot of people don’t want to mess with the naked GoPro and maybe is enough with the video from the avata. Of course the avata is much more expensive than the C25 and a naked GoPro will have better video quality.
I like to use the Radiomaster TX16S, because of its size and weight, but a lot of people rather use smaller radios like the Tango 2 because they are used to a more video game style controller.
I cut my teeth on a cinelog 25. I treated it as disposable and was hard on it. If you are new to the hobby you most likely will go through lots of prop gaurds as they are not durable. In my case I also found the all in one flight controllers to be prone to electronics failing after crashes. Today I build my own and don't consider bind n flies. I am finding my home built Shendrone Squirt V2 out performs these light weight bind n flies and is quite durable.
Hey there, I’ve been looking into cinewhoops. Planning on building my own too, but not sure what frame to go to. Would you say the cinelog frame or the squirt frame is better? Thanks
@@notkvnchn I think they are maybe two frames with different personalities. The cinelog is lighter and maybe a bit better at freestyle. I'd consider a squirt as best suited to low and slow. The cinelog will work better with a naked camera, and the squirt will handle an DJI action 2 or GoPro. Being heavier, it might be easier to learn on the squirt as the lighter cinelogs can be more difficult to learn throttle control.
Hello. I never used a futaba radio, but I will assume they are not multi protocol which will mean your drone will need a futaba receiver and I know for sure they don’t make them with futaba receiver. So unless you manually change the receiver on the drone for something compatible with your radio it won’t work.
Great review! I think it’s the only that compares all cinelog family. Only one thing that i think it’s very important is that only cinelog 25 allows you to be under 250g with a naked gopro/smo 4k/insta360 and 530mah or 660mah battery.
Thank you. I thought about the weight a bit too late. I should have mentioned this since it's important in some countries. And actually, the Cinelog30 can also be under 250 under very special conditions. Using a very light weight 660 battery that I have only seen from GNB or GEPRC itself you can actually reach like 251 gr
Hi Kael, there are a couple of way I can think about. 1.-The box of the drone should have that information 2.-If you open the drone you need to see the wifi antenna which is like a serpent made off copper in the circuit board 3.-The FC model should point you to a manual where the information is. In my experience there are not many with this feature. I know the Mark5 from GEPRC has it, and Diatone Roma F5 has it too.
I’m not 100% sure. And the time will change if you are analog vs digital and if you have an action camera or not. I’m thinking around the 7 min mark without an action cam.
Is it possible to fly indoor slowly with Cinelog35? I want to add cinewhoop on my fpv gear for commercial fly through inside office, restaurant etc with full size gopro
Hi, I will say everything is possible, but then you need to be very good at flying, it will make a lot of noise, and you will have less space to manoeuvre. I honestly wouldn't recommend it, but if you are asking if CAN, yes you CAN.

this is not an easy answer. The 25 will handle some wind, but not much. I will say that it will work fine for your festival if the day is calmed, but the 30 will be a safer bet, and it's not that much bigger to bother people
