I enjoy watching your videos Anthony! I have a grande 120 series i picked up this year for $10.5 with high K’s 290k on the clock. I had the suspension replaced with a 2inch kit about a month ago. Not as cruisy to drive but still pretty impressed. It’s a shame you don’t live in Brisbane, I need a good mechanic who knows his stuff.
Never had much luck with Dobinsons front springs. Where the first 2 coils overlap on the top of the spring arent ground flat enough. It cocks the spring and causes it to rub on the shock.
Hey anthony can you do a video on a rear coil conversion for a prado w/ air suspension? Here in Canada we don't have the prado and many of the Lexus GX460s were sold with rear air & all had KDSS.
What Dobinsons kit would you suggest to increase GVM for a 150 Prado. Looking at 500kg increase in GVM with constant 100kg front and 300-400kg rear, will do a lot of towing, 800kg to 2200kg loads.
I’m pretty sure I did some videos talking about GVM upgrade and I’ll do another one soon don’t waste your time is the short answer a few more words there’s no such thing
@@Fourby4Diesel So you are saying a GVM upgrade is a waste of money? I will be fitting a storage unit, hopefully one of yours, Dual batteries and Bullbar towbar roof rack awning etc I dont want to go over GVM. Not overly worried about tow weights GCM etc as I don't want to over stress the Prado and tow a mountain. Will be doing 4WDing so need a lift anyway. Watched the GVM video BTW.
@@Fourby4Diesel So would a 40mm lift front 45mm rear lift with stiffer springs be better. I have approximated vehicle weight with all accessories and load to 2940KG which is close to GVM at 2990KG.
One part number doesn’t give us that height depends on the weight and there’s lots of different part numbers more information in other videos why not watch them

Good video. Informative. I think if I worked there and i heared "badda bing" all week it would drive me nuts..
Very nice and proper job, thanks for this video, a big Hi for all the team.
This kind of instruction deserves a multipass

Very informative video, just wondering what were the front and rear heights after the install?
Do you know a place in Sydney to take my v6 to?
at any point do you torque any nuts down or just old spec FT? and how long would it take you by yourself with the kit assembled? cheers
Does the suspension change reduce the "boatyness" that comes stock?
Hi Anthony, is the Monotube ims give u softer rides than the twin tube?
hi Anthony, can we use the monotube ims as stock replacement without lift?

Can the top nut be removed while strut is still in the car? I only need to replace the top bush.
Does the vehicle need a front wheel alignment after installation?
Cheers
So you dont have to change your sway bar
Do you loctite all nuts without a split pin?
Is that a crack in the left-hand guard?
what brand is your ball joint extractor?
Nice video mate. How much for the DIY 2 inch lift kit as per you video? Can you please send me a quote prado 150 2015.
Please keep watching videos and you’ll find my contact number to send me a text message on Mondays

Why not tell us the height or part number?

Why not paint the top of shock 🤣
