Also that BMW is made in India hence components cost and services would be cheaper. Better resale value. Skoda has a resale value of 20% after five years,. Honda has 35% and BMW definitely more.

As an owner of a 10month old Octavia 1.8 L&K, I debated waiting for the VRS since I envied the old RS that came out couple years ago. But when I saw the price bracket they were going to put the car in, I bailed and made my purchase. The VRS is a great car, an amazing experience but it missed the sweet spot on price IMO. But with 200 units sold out what do I know. Great review, very detailed. Just tune out the background music maybe.

One guy from my place had this beast in steel gray and it was soooo amazing. How beautyit was. But he sold it. For him it was like a toy which he may bought it just by seeing inside showroom, coz he owns Merc s class, Porsche gt and Nissan gtr. But I was always amazed by Octavia RS only
I did have a doubt over it's ground clearance given that the suspension was unchanged from Euro spec but from the side by side images it looks like the 18" wheels have given some crucial extra centimetres of clearance to the RS 245 which makes it so much more practical. That aside you are paying extra for the 7spd gearbox and the extra 15 bhp. But it's a performance car and I guess that it's entitled too.

Have driven 330i extensively on US highways, NY to Miami, NY to DC and used as daily drive for almost 6 months It's an amazing package and you never get bored of that DSG once you put your foot down. Never driven a skoda though
I'd just get the base rapid TSI and get a safe remap to 135 and 200 nm torque. Add an exhaust later down the road and pump out 5-10(?)more hp lol. Maybe just a decat

Already people are holding us responsible for several cancellations. Not VFM, but it is a good FWD platform, one of the best out there. We will be making a detailed video on that soon.

It had been more fun if it was rear wheel drive like the BMW 330i and the jaguar xe given such high price.
It is a cbu import that's why such high price, if it is brought as ckd then it will around 30 lakhs on road
in that money, buy a superb and get a remap done.... even with stage 2 code 6, it wont cost more than 5L......
Are remapped car reliable as out of factories one also it might void warranty of rs 33 lakh rs car (ex showroom)
