Your lucky the lake was very calm. I have done a few jet boat trips to the hot springs and the lake can be very rough at times. Great footage of a beautiful place!

That water is beautiful. I have only seen that color in the wild in one place. Red River Gorge off trail in the winter....and it wasn't that deeply colored. Awesome video.

Your closing comments were spot on, too… I tried kayak camping for the first time ever this year, and it was quite the challenge after car camping for years.

I have always wanted to go there. If you look up the helicopter tours they land on the bridge by the hot spring. I wish we still had our RXP 210.

A couple years ago I tried to hike / packraft to here from Squamish. I almost made it but the river was getting a little too sketchy for me so I called for an airlift out not too far upriver from the hotsprings. I was on the news that night.
Was the airlift SAR?

Next destination- Blue lake on the Moon... Rocket ship, Lunar rover and you will be there... ;)

From where I am and what I am facing, the "degree" of freedom is higher for Shaun... We pay taxes but do not get any social security. Neither are the regulations providing any scope for survival for the common man. Scary times ahead...

Leave the bikes at home and run the river with the Skis ,another great adventure.
Great video. Adjust the seats up more on the bikes for more efficient pedaling. Your leg should be almost fully extended at the bottom of the pedal stroke. Spin spin spin, keep the gearing low and pedal faster. It'll hit your wind a bit more but will keep your muscles from building up lactic acid and that heavy feeling. Hope it helps!

Amazing video, and an epic adventure indeed. Seems like a great idea for a 40th birthday which is coming up soon. This trip has been on my hitlist for over a year now. Jet ski approach looks pretty fun, although for our journey it will likely be with canoes. Keep up the adventures and amazing vlogs! Adventures with good friends are definitely worth it. My girlfriend and I regularly invite others along on our adventures as we attempt to access 400 different BC waterfalls in 4 years. Currently 16 months in and at 130 falls.

Shaun, you need to get a *used* *Admiral Drive Float Trailer 2069* the company went out of business in 2012, but a 20ft Float Trailer can carry 3 quads or one 90's 4x4 Sidekick.

Great vid as usual. I figured your bike ride would be bad because you can’t lock out your suspension which would cause you to have to exert a lot more energy while riding. How did you guys make it out of the hot springs?

Now that was an adventure!!! Wondering if you could have driven there, but chose the jet skis and bikes?
You have to cross the lake by boat, so it isn't possible to drive there (unless you have a barge).

Maybe next time carry an inflatable raft or tube and return on river.
Would be a wild ride. I'd do it.
