Unfortunately my budget landed me with an Overland trim rather than a Rubicon but still love it... Slowly upgrading it nonetheless.... After all......a Jeep is meant to be modified...... Love your channel which is a light in the world that we currently live in....... Keep on rolling... Mb one day we can meet up on a trail somewhere along the way....

It’s a VOR (very high frequency omni directional range), used to navigate by airplanes but is mostly replaced by GPS now

The drone footage are incredible!
That tower is a VOR (Variable Omni Range) transmitter. Vital for aircraft navigation. Think of it as a radio transmitter that sends out a constant signal over a 360 degree spectrum. An airplane has a receiver (like the radio receiver in your car) that interprets the signal and provides information on a display that tells you where the airplane is in relation to the location of the transmitter, which is in a known location.

Great video. It’s actually an aviation navigation station not for communication. A VOR Stn puts out enough power that none of you will be needing a vasectomy anytime soon😂. There’s only two that high in BC and am heading that way next week, I Have a …vasectomy (which was a load off my mind) so good to go. Keep it up😳…Safety Second.
