On plowed ground, turn it black with your honey wagon. At least, that is what I was raised to do. We have clay around here, and I have been told it is hard to put too much on it.l love to run the spreader because everyone leaves you alone. 😂

This might be a good thing.Get all the bad luck out of the way first. That way, you have good luck the rest of the season.
But keep up the videos. You are doing a great job thanks for bringing us along

That's some good looking grass before you started spreading

It's not as good as it looks. It's all voluntary growth and the taller clumps are the only thing that is good grass.

Yeah, I got a "little" carried away 😁 trying to get out. It was moving a couple inches at a time but I should have stopped sooner.

You know spring is here when you’re playing in the mud 😂. I’ve got spots of fields I’ve left for now bc it’s too muddy to chisel plow. I always seem to get stuck disking idk why lol.

Always someplace fools you. In the other field I walked through no issue an area that is generally wet so I never thought this would be wetter.

It's not as good as it looks. It's just random voluntary growth not really any good grass.

I do have one. I use this one because it's a little bigger, this pile has chopped bedding in it, and it works better being on concrete.
When I get into the pole with the long bedding I'll be using the fork bucket.
I really would love to have a fork bucket with a grapple.
