Dane Scott is the right man to get old school trucks restored and running keep up the good work and keep the hammer down safe and sound hope to see more old school trucks restored and running good luck Dane 😊
The long wheelbase GMC would be a 7500, not 9500 . Other clue is one piece windshield, and small dog house . But the butterfly hoods are dangerous . Otherwise cab is similar through the Brig era .
You'll be amazed at how well built the factory lavatory was built and how difficult it is to remove. There's a running joke among bus enthusiasts that they built the factory restroom first then built the rest of the bus around it. They're built like a tornado shelter. Bring a large sledge hammer, several pry bars, extra drill bits, air chisel, and a helper or two, you'll need them. I'm in Cincinnati and very familiar with buses. I'd love to help you out on this journey. Let me know if you need something.
Your welcome. Below the rear window that panel should be silver and where the window as paint that back black. Of course the windows were a dark green tint
Hello driver! Whata killer RV that's gonna be! Also seeing those ponies makes me wish I never got rid of mine...thanks for making UA-cam vides for great entertainment and showing old trucks to viewers in the world. A sincere thank you for all you do..10-4 driver im gone
That Bus would be just the ticket for touring the Museums in Iowa' -( The Iowa 80, Farm Toy Museum,John Deere Museum,Grout Agricultural and Military Museum, and Oliver/Hart Parr Museum) with a few fellow truckers!
Thanks buddy and you’re right you’d be right at home with that one lol. That’s about the only one I saw out there but I’m going back in January. Maybe I’ll find another one for ya. 😬👍
Daggum, a Bubblenose KW with an “iron lung” Cummins! Possibly a 320hp version, that was a beast of a truck at one time. Cummins called the paint “Old Gold”…..
LUV the Triple T T-shirt Dane and being a big fan of the Pete 352's happy to see a nod to Big Dawg with the naming of HoundDawg,, Safe Travels Dane 👍👍👍👍
Hi David, I bet you spent a little time in that triple T. Ray and I will definitely be going back in January. I wanna stand in the same parking spot that the blue mule parked in right there at the end and soak it in some more. I still got that big dog picture you gave me hanging in the lounge. As always, thank you for watching and be safe out there Driver.
O-H-I-O Porters🇺🇸 You have some good ideas on that new motor coach, Hound Dog! I think it could go either way on the colors, really. You sure ran into a honey patch of trucks out there in Arizona! That KW Bullnose was quite awesome. You didn’t cover the other one that was there. Even that GMC 9500 looked pretty sweet. Did you find something else that you’re gonna make a move on later on? I bet there were even more sweet picks out there that you didn’t film. I love going to those kinds of places! You’ll discover more in January! Where are you storing the Mustang, in your other garage? Gotta keep that beauty dry & in good shape! Know anyone interested in a military trailer? I know I’m gonna sell mine. It’s just a matter of time & what I get done to it. Thanks for the ride along! Always enjoyable! Blessings! 🥰🤩✌️
Thanks, Paul. A lot of those trucks were at different locations. When I go back out in January Ray and I will dig up some more. It was quite hot out there that day, 117° so I kinda had to keep moving to get back in the air conditioning lol. I’ll keep my ears open for someone looking for a military equipment around here. Yes I’ve got the Mustang across the street much to my wife’s dismay lol. She really is a good sport putting up with me. 😬🤷🏼♂️
BTW.. If you ever get to some of the museums here in NY-(The Brockway Living History Museum,Northeast Antique and Classic Car Museum,etc)... You can swing by me here in Syracuse NY and I can give you a tour of them 😆 lol!!
@DaneScottsTRUCKERSLOUNGE Don't see why you couldn't. It's the same displacement. But I don't think to rear end. We'll be able to handle that kind of power.
This is one of the most interesting and entertaining channels on UA-cam. Thanks for what you do Dane Scott.
Thank you Terry I appreciate the support 😬

Thank you Tim 😬
My wife had a Mustang in Highschool. Fastback. Keep living the dream
She has great taste! Mustangs and well…. She married you right?😊
You’re welcome 😬
You need to let lieutenant Colombo be your first passenger! He's probably the only one who trust your driving Dane. 🚗 👊🏾🤣
lol you’re probably right about that lol. 😂
More memories from when I worked at Featherlite Dane👍
Glad to stoke em up buddy. 😬

I thought about trying to get a job with Greyhound years ago, but I don't like people enough to drive a bus.
I feel ya! I’m sure those ole Drivers have some wild stories to tell 😬👍
@DaneScottsTRUCKERSLOUNGE
Yes sir, I bet they do.

Clutch needs to be adjusted and linkage probably cleaned. That should free it up back to normal. Happy Motoring
Thanks for the tip!

Absolutely! Gotta get it finished though first. I’m making good progress, but I’ve got to switch gears in February and finish grasshopper as well.
I wouldn’t be Rusty Hook if I didn’t say the wrecker was my favorite 🤩 The bus is going to be cool when you’re done

I can see bringing that to the Truckers Jamboree in Walcott, Iowa!
Hmmmm🤔
15:26 That 67-70 GMC 9500 semi is amazing kool would be great project for a Duranma swap from a 03+07 GM Dually 3500
Now that would be cool and unique for sure. Wait! What blasphemous words am I uttering? Detroit diesel baby lol. 😂

Sounds like a good idea for a bus trip someday. Keep reminding me as I have so many great possibilities stuck in this brain of mine lol.
Did you actually Coyote swap that 80s, fox body?
Can you imagine shoehorning one in it? Scary fast. It’s the factory but built 302. Lottsa fun for sure. 😬

I got a 86 GMC astro truck where is the fuse Box ? Thanks
Actually I don’t believe I know 🤔try the GMC ASTRO Facebook page.
@@DaneScottsTRUCKERSLOUNGE Thank you
So Dane you and the boys in the band gonna do some touring in the bus?
Man, that’s a great idea, I just have to figure out which band would go. Lol.
A parts truck for Sarge??.. lol 😆!!
Oh, I’d probably have to keep it just like it is. It’s a runner and a very cool truck but way too far to spend the money to get it home. 😬👍
BTW My Dad is doing better.. He got released from the Hospital Thursday and is on the mend!!
Yay! So glad to hear Bud. 🙏
You're not having a place to sleep?
Oh ya … StickArounTown 😬
