These were the work horses at Greyhound for years. They were great to drive and dependable. And not having the huge windows that the MCI-102's had. they stayed clear during adverse weather. Which was great when leaving out of Chicago to Marquette, Michigan, up and down US 41. Not bad either across Iowa and Nebraska in winter snow storms. Greyhound driver out of Chicago.
Thank you for keeping the classic looks to your bus and trucks. There are more than enough custom paint jobs and modified vintage vehicles out there. Yes, the interior colors of your bus kitchen is definitely a flashback to the early 70's!
Love the 70s theme kitchen especially the avocado green stove I think going with the older paint scheme is an upgrade in class will meld better with the old school theme inside
The 1965 tract ranch house I was born into, and lived in till 15 YOA, had those orange countertops in the hall bathroom!!! The fixtures were yellow. Master bath was a nice blue, counter and fixtures, and the kitchen had olive green countertops - with yellow appliances. Thank you for making this channel!!!
I found a double decker bus. It passed putting on the road but would make a nice tinyhouse. Back in the day the bus was used in Adelaide south Australia about 40s and 50s era . The engine was a British gardener
Thank you sir also for YOUR service. I was actually in the Air Force; Columbo got the Army hat so I was wearing it. We’re all brothers in arms lol. Thanks for watching 😬👍
Another great episode of Truckers Lounge! I was ready for a Greyhound update. She is shaping up quite nicely! I also got a kick out of seeing those Consolidated Frieghtway trucks too BTW. My grandad Henry Oran used to drive for CF with tandem trailers, way back in my childhood. Us kids used to call her "Corn Flakes" because of the CF abbreviation. Neat stuff. I can't wait to watch the next episode. Keep up the great work sir, and happy new year!
Awesome stuff! Is it that coffee that gives you all your energy to do these projects 🤔 😂? I'm always impressed by what you accomplish. Thanks for the incredible ATHS support and Wheels of Time magazine coverage! Happy New Year!!
I’d have to say…. YES lol. Vintage blend Hammer Down coffee. Aside from that I’m usually this way. I gotta keep moving and keep making something beautiful out of something ugly. Absolutely my pleasure to promote ATHS, and really any organization that supports and promotes vintage semi trucks and trucking and the stories that go with it. Thanks for watching as always.
It’s your bus Dane so put your stamp of originality on it. It’s OIK to revise your plans, I’m sure Hound Dog will turn out great! Greetings from SE PA…
O-H-I-O Porters🇺🇸Happy New Year…2025! You’ve been busy on Hound Dog & it’s paying off! You always have to listen to that originality & functionality of any truck or bus to see what it needs to be. I think it’s still gonna be quite unique inside & out! Not to mention an eye turner for sure! This might be a year for some good changes & lots of fun. You’ve already started on learning lessons & gettin down & dirty with your projects. You should know that sometimes things will change as you’re moving along on a project. Maybe this is for the better. Good stuff. That is one unique wrecker in the magazine! They usually have some great stuff in there. Blessings my friend! 🥰😎✌️
Hey driver! Hope u had a wonderful Christmas. That looks like a really good magazine to read while loading and unloading! Can't wait to see the pimp mobile fixed lol!!! 10-4 driver im gone
They want so much money for those though they’re like 80 bucks aren’t they? I can see if it was a much bigger scale but those HO scale buses are way overpriced or I would have one for sure. But you never know I may change my mind lol thanks
I remember in Omaha in the early to mid '70s people saying that although Greyhound were the more well known name, Continental Trailways were better to ride with, so when did you last fall over one of their buses?
Thank you for the tip. I definitely will. I love his videos. I don’t know how he has such a knack for picking the right Trucks and the right music for me.
