It's amazing how being here watching your adventures makes me feel like part of the family I can't wait to see when little Ciara gets to be big Ciara and starts her own adventure
so cute what a wonderful way to grow up with your family I remember when little Ciara was born and your brother left the boat I remember when you guys got married I remember when your brother fell in love your family videos will live on forever
Same here Naivan Mladic! I miss the party boat days too, but I also know when you have a child, your whole look on life changes, and it's time to grow up!
What a FANTASTIC video. Whether it's because it's the end of the working week and I'm a little tired in the evening I got the relaxed, tender vibe. The pace of life and love for one another is great to watch. Funny islands....some people are weird......and scared by covid. It's wonderful exploring nooks and crannies of the world and enjoying the laughter of your daughter.
I've been watching for a while. The cinematography and editing is as much a part of the storytelling as the narrations. I loved the transitions from full screen to panoramic, it added to the narrative in so many ways. If this was on television, you would have won Emmys! Thanks for expanding my life in more ways than you could ever imagine! BTW, Sierra is so adorable! She has such a beautiful smile! (I'm a grandfather, so I'm easily swayed by children's smiles.)
OMG!!! I just watched a video of you guys from another channel, and your daughter was 6 months old - Im freaked out that she is so much older now, checking out your channel. Shocked that video was so old and I didnt know.....
Sierra’s smile at the very end after crying was priceless! The difference food makes to a hungry toddler is hilarious. Beautiful vlog as usual. I love continuing my travel life through your adventures! Thanks for sharing!
Could have been Covid, could have just been a desire for privacy. It;s something i feel doesn;t get addressed enough. We have the ability to sail to pretty much anywhere and it's the equivalent of somebody rocking up to your garden and taking a seat. What I love about the Delos attitude is that it's pretty respectful. From the 51 comments so far, it doesn't appear that the people commenting have considered that - that's not negative, it's just maybe something they don't consider. That may carry over to some of the cruising community, maybe they've had some negative experiences with other visitors and just decided "you know what? No." It's a fine line, freedom to explore balanced against the invasion of local privacy. Delos has always trodden that line really well. Far better than shall we say... ooh I don't know... Doodles. Who had no problem kicking off about being asked to leave an island and apparently no qualms about posting said reaction online. Whatever reason they had for wanting Delos to keep a distance, Delos reacted with dignity and respect
Well said! One big reason I like Delos over other sailing channels. They seem to understand and respect boundaries when visiting these remote places whether the upset person is in the right or not.
@@adreen5300 there's just something a bit off about the whole vibe. I used to run a couple of venues and spent a number of years in the music scene and that whole older guy surrounded by younger girls thing was quite prevalent. It nearly always took a dark turn. I hope that's not the case with doodles. Everyone involved seems to benefit and they don't seem too hung up on it. We also only get to see what's left after the edit, so it'd be unfair for me to cast aspersions, but I'm not a fan of the attitude he displays.
I used to watch these the day (moment?) they came out but not anymore. I got the misses hooked and now I'm not allowed to watch without her. I may just have to watch each twice, ha! Appreciate you sharing the adventure. Can't wait to see this one... lol
I love just about the entire passage Brian was fixated on the fluttering sail and was trying to let it go but in the end had to do it right and move the car! Makes me feel good about my tendencies! Thanks Bri!!!
As to being asked to leave, I appreciate how Brian and Kaza handled the situation. SV DeLos Crew have been A-1 respectful to all peoples and cultures from Day 1. This is one of the primary reasons for their success. If every human one of us drove hubris from our hearts and showed humility toward fellow humanity, we would be a people at peace throughout the world.
I see that you finally ran into Plucky, a distinguishable character whom I subscribe to on his Sailing into Freedom channel. Can't wait for the expected funny outcome next week. He's been in Panama for probably a year now.
Enjoyed the fresh water coverage..Loved experiencing some isolated village life...and the stimulated sail to meet up with fellow sailors between the islands...Wow, do so enjoy your lifestyle..Cheers
Wowzers, what a beautiful ride in Maggie.. I especially loved the underwater view.. that was super cool.. Nugg's is getting so very grown... quite a cutie... It's amazing the changes in the world.. Anywhoo.. 🌝 The sail over to the next Isla was beautiful.I loved the way you filmed it... I almost felt like I was there... It was beautiful an all round beautiful sail!!! As Always, Thanks for sharing your lives with us.. grateful for all the lessons an love ... Fare winds an following sea's guy's ✌🏼💗😊❣️
Nice to see you meet Plukky. I only follow a few sailing channels and I always thought that you, with plukky and zingaro, should have made a couple of shared chapters and published them on all three channels since I think you share a similar concept base in terms of lifestyle, although it may look different. I hope to be able to meet in the near future as I will soon buy a sail boat to join the club!
Heavy Maggie . . . at what point does the confluence/coincidence of your desires and your economic assets, enable the acquisition of a replacement tender which is lighter and more suitable/flexible? Your channel has been my gateway to the dream of the sailing adventure. Yet reality breaks in and I will never do anything like you have experienced. Thank you for sharing. Starting my eighth decade, I do not dare to attempt many things that I might have two decades ago. Without your videos, there are many things that you have shown that I could not even have imagined. Thank you.
9:52 Svdelos could create a Charity:water type project. The project would receive donations from subscribers, which would Raise the funds necessary to fix the water pipe to the village. There are probably other villages with broken water pipes that any unused donations can be used to repair.
Hey Brian and Kazza, loved the subtitles. My Spanish es no bueno, but I am working on it! So this is great to have! Thank you!!! Great stuff as always. Keep it up, cheers!
I first watched a Delos video years ago when Capt. was with his brother... I forgot about them for a few years, as I've been busy, and I come back to a little nugget on board! Such an interesting life style that I have very little perspective of (I have been on a catamaran in the Bahamas and my father used to own a 55' Sundancer on Montauk). Very happy I found ya'll again, and finally subscribed. Thanks for taking me on this journey with you! Where does the waste water go lol.
Beautiful shots of Delos sailing through those waves! I love the music that you paired with the video. You guys are awesome, and the nugget is so cute. She’s getting so big and has a great little personality…great/little 🤔
What a beautiful week. There's a kinda superstition among adventurous types that places with ominous names like diablo, hell, death, etc. came by their names for a reason. Especially if they were named by the indigenous inhabitants of the area. But the river of the devil was certainly beautiful. It's remarkable how few places you've felt unwelcome around the world. At least that you've noted in your videos. Glad Sierra enjoyed the sail! Explorers explore on their stomachs. Never sally without PB&J! Loved this vid, love you guys!
I´ve been following you for a while now... second time I notice the local flag 12:43 Great videos! Enjoy every one! Great sailing and adventure for you.
The "trailing edge of the sail, is fluttering " is descriptive but its actually called the leech. Leech flutter/jib car forward was good diagnosis. I daresay the furling headsail leech is probably very stretched and difficult to trim. Mind you your not racing. Great to see your still so adventurous unlike so many other you tube fair weather sailors who define their episodes with trite repair problems, being mostly anchored, day sailing and stressing that its 20 knots and endless bikini fashion parades.
I loved the shots when you were going upstream by the dinghy when the view went into movie format (16:9). Just at that time I turned my lights at home into daylight mode and that happened to coincide with your movie format mode. I repeated your shots a couple of times, the timing was just miraculous.
hey there am really amused of your life style yes it's sometimes or most of the times hard but yet so free wish you the best and i wish i can sail with you one day
Just returned from the San Blas Islands. Not being allowed to enter the village islands at the moment is just a covid thing, I read it on the government pages before I went. But you can easily go on the smaller islands. There it usually depends a bit on the family living there but they usually don't mind (a bit too my surprise, considering, you are basically just swimming over to walk in their backyard...)
Great to see you guys. Amazed by the little sea legs on Nugget, Delos slicing through the water at 25kn & leaning away and the little one just stands up and walks around. Great video guys take care be safe 💚. Oh and I’m sure we all want to see the outtakes of that sponsored clip you did. I imagine you guys taking many takes, laughing away.
Brian, Kazza. Did not seem that bad that island or village was closed due to covid. Every country and area reacted how they felt was safest for their members. You are an out siders as I would be as well.. This would not alarm me.

It's crazy how long I've been watching Delos. From a party boat to family vlogs 🤣
It should be an ad for home brew, but times change b
