My name is Chrome i have been living in y cargo van for 6 years now. I started this lifestyle BROKE and IN DEBT and after 11 months of living the van life i cleared my debt and started to put my life back together and build for a better future. I have turned my original van into a badass camper van that is lifted with all the toys. Over the years i went from being broke and stealth camping in the city and sleeping at walmarts... to now, living fulltime in a jacked up van and driving deep off-grid into the backcountry and living life in the dirt. WOW LIFE HAS CHANGED.

Totally true. And that video Chrome is referring to was a great one. He's got to accept the long term success, not the day-to-day disparities.
Absolutely. I just want authenticity, no matter what. As an artist, I do much better when my creativity is based on what I feel inspired to make. I learned very quickly that I no longer felt as inspired when people began asking for custom pieces.
@@victoriabaker4400 I get where he’s coming from. There’s a line between genuine creativity and having some kind of gimmick that draws people in. He seems to hit that sweet spot as I have never known his videos to be less than authentic.

Thank you for making tags that actually represent what the video is about. It's more than irritating to watch a video that has no relation, no connection to its tag. It happens once, I'll forgive them. It happens twice, they go on my be-cautious list. Third time, they're on my never-watch-again list. And I don't. Keep it real, which includes not making misleading tags. Please scratch Cruze's ears for me.

I agree. One of my favorite UA-camrs is AB Camping out of New Zealand. Tony specializes in what he calls “grim camping.“ He has a really tricked out truck that he can’t always take it to his campsite when he’s wild camping. But unless he’s testing a specofic piece of gear that turns out to be of particularly poor quality, he sleeps in a tent high in the mountains of the south island under snow or under huge rain storms: grim situations. For those of you who have never heard of him, the B part of AB camping is his traveling companion a border collie. Sadly his to previous companions, Bruce and Bruno have passed away. Bruno’s passing was tragically unexpected. He was only 18 months old. Tony and his wife and have acquired brother and sister border collies and are working with them. Tony plans to get back to camping but he needs the border collies to be a little older and a little more settled down. Anyway, bad weather camping. Fascinating.
Yeah, it's called reality - and it is what I run into more often than I'd like.
Some of my car shows get rained out and I spend the entire time under a canopy or in the van.
It is fun to see what others do at times like that - gives me ideas 😊

Hey brother the whole reason I watch your videos is because you do keep it real. You're cinematography it is amazing, especially your drone footage. Been in and out of the hospital, suffering withdrawal as I have no wi-fi. Now I am sitting at a mechanic shop in Flagstaff Arizona with major brake problems. Playing catch up on your and Lauren's videos!!! So sorry I didn't make it up this year to meet you both, but damn I will make it next year!!!!

There’s a couple of things going on, UA-cam used to be an interaction between the creators and consumer. Today, creators almost never answer questions or reply. Second, do not believe for even a minute that UA-cam is a lifetime source of income. It could implode tomorrow morning.

Personally, I like what you do. The honest, raw videos are more appealling to me than more produced dramatic videos. I like Trent and Allie, and used to watch every video, but in the last couple of years, they seem so overly produced, it takes away sometihng from the realness of their lives. Keep doing what you are doing man!

I enjoyed yesterday’s video … you had me right there with you imagining going down those roads myself … then I got stuck in my imagination because we live in an old 36’ class A lol.
Today’s video turned out to be the most interactive yet though … just as you put that bacon on and it started sizzling (made my mouth water) I smelled something … is this a scratch and sniff video??? Maybe I am an outlier but if I like a content creator, I watch all their vids. Sometimes there is a little interlude if I am distracted with life but I'll watch no matter what the thumbnail.
