Jamari might not realize it, but the last few months he's leveled up ... Keeps a good pace, doesn't talk too much, and most noticably, his comedic timing has really improved. Always liked him, but like anything else, you keep doing it you'll get better, and IMO this is his best version of himself. I really think 2023 he's gonna take off and hit 2 mil this time next year.

Sometimes it's not about looks but more about confidence and humor. If a guy can be confident in what he's saying, it goes a long way. However I think most people still need to feel some level of physical attraction, even if it is a small amount, for them to appreciate other aspects of a person in a romantic way.

I'm a big comic fan and all that and when I was a kid I thought my dream girl would be just like me with all the same interests. But now that I'm older, I don't date based off of hobbies like that. My gf now and I have very different interests and only just recently at almost 2 years of dating have we began to share and enjoy what the other does. Our relationship is built on being good people to each other and sharing values, not interests.

In Hamilton Ontario Canada at a convention I went to they did a speed dating. My buddy and I stumbled upon it as we walked down this section and saw a line of like 200 people. We quickly noticed it was all guys, we looked at the schedule and saw it was for speed dating. As we walked by the rest of the line we overheard multiple people saying there was one female who signed up for speed dating. Overall though at this mid sized convention there was plenty of good looking chicks around. Obviously it would be far easier to just chat up a girl there. But keep in mind at conventions people are pretty anti-social and weird. People typically only talk to the people they came to the convention with. Massively underutilizing the chance to talk to like minded people. But conventions goers seem to be painfully socially awkward.
Geez i feel bad for that girl lol.
I mean, I also believe the majority of con - goers are just there for the con. Yeah, probably a few people there to get laid too, but it's a small majority. It's more to make friends and meet new people than anything else
@@brainrich1358 you're right. People are just there for the con. But they would get much more out of it of they made friends and met new people. It's a shame that people who very much enjoy stories of people overcoming adversity and solve problem, which solving problems is a huge part of gaming, can't strategize and navigate socializing. It's obviously not there fault and it's a bad sad really. Wish I could help those 200 guys out, and point out the fact they don't need to stand in a 3 hour line for an optimistically 1 in 200 chance to date someone. That there were well over 200 women and girls they could try to strike up a friendship with, or ask out, and there odds would instantly go from 0.0001% to like 3%. Despite the oddly unwelcoming atmosphere at cons.

I used to attend SDCC (San Diego Comic Con) every year from 2011-2017 and I thought it was really cool at the time but looking back at the money I wasted on stupid plastic crap that just sat on shelves or in boxes that I thought were going to be worth so much money it’s really disappointing I didn’t put that money elsewhere more productive. I would stay out there from Wednesday to Sunday and believe me that shit adds up.
Yeah that’s understandable. For me I don’t mind collecting a few figures or posters. I just mostly buy keychains or sticks but not a lot. I don’t go every year but it is fun
I’m single and would say I’m about 30% nerd so I’d go to a comic con, but I’m not too sure about the speed dating aspect
