I took my kids phone because I found out some disturbing group convo to only find out that he was using others kids phone in school to look at the content he got his electronics taken away for. Honestly some people are so fixed on what school is teaching like if kids really discuss topics like that none of them care. The root of the problem is the internet and the access they have to it.
Apart of the problem might be not having the right discussion with kids nowadays. I don’t have kids so I don’t know what it’s like but my mom always told me to never talk to someone online, I wasn’t even allowed to make comments on any post, now as an adult I’m glad my mom told me that because anything could have happened

When my parents got their first computer I was around 10 or 11. I was only allowed to spend an hour on the internet at a time, and the computer desk was located along a portion of our apartment that separated the dining room from the living room, so anyone who wasn't inside their bedroom or one of the bathrooms could see what you were doing. If you wanted to look at something inappropriate, you had to either wait for one of the rare times nobody was home, or sneak out of your room in the early hours of the morning while everyone was asleep and had their doors closed. It was a lot better that way. As a preteen/teen I still viewed inappropriate content at times just like anybody would, plus shock sites like goatse or tubgirl were practically unavoidable, but I was never compulsively viewing inappropriate content the way kids today seemingly do

I never watched her but I have heard of her. These allegations upset me most out of all the mistakes iv seen influencers do in the past because it involves young children who are still developing their own individual personalities and discovering who they are as a person. What is it about certain people that they can't resist preying on the innocence of youth? Are they that f'd up in the head and miserable with their own lives? Or do they simply get off on the control aspect of it?
Both- they get off on the control aspect along with other aspects such as power, attention, the victim's innocence, etc. plus they're also f'd up in the head from something that happened to them or they're just naturally wired different; only some of them are miserable with their own lives tho.
