I know my stories nothing compared to this but i couldnt walk for 7 or 8 months and now that im me again I feel so suprised and shocked and happy and thank God everyday!
God works in mysterious ways. Many good things happened for me too during my brain tumor journey. I was very lucky when my first seizure happened. I was at home, not in the public. Thank God! You are so beautiful. Best wishes for continued good health.
So happy to hear your story. My fiancee has a tumor on her left frontal lobe and has a surgery in a couple of weeks. We are staying positive and your story validates our hope. We are looking forward to our lives together and have decided to get married as soon as possible and raise a family. Wish you the best for your future and please pray for us too.. Thanks!
You are a walking miracle! 💟 Thank God for healing you ❤You are an inspiration, you'll help so many,I thank you so much for sharing your story💝 By the way you're very beautiful 💝 Love & prayers sent ❤
Penny Parker Thank you so much for sharing that! Life definitely is not always perfect, but God truly loves you- you have to believe that!!! 💜 Sending a big hug your way!
Thank you. I just went into remission from Stage 4A Ductal Prostate Cancer then they told me I have a meningioma about the size of a golf ball. Trying to have hope. It is hard after fighting on disease to turn around and go into battle again.
I had 2 brain surgeries. I had one when I was 16 to remove a tumor that caused seizures. Those were terrifying! The tumor was on my right temporal lobe on a brain stem. No cancer thankfully! My first surgery went okay but they didn't get all of it due to being afraid of causing problems with my speech and memory. So over the years my tumor grew back and I continued to have seizures. I had a second brain surgery 4 years later when I was 20. I had 2 wonderful surgens one was a tumor specialist and one was a seizure specialist. They removed all of the tumor and even a bit of the stuff around the tumor to make sure there was NO more growing back this time! I came out wonderful that time! I thank God for giving me a chance in life. Now I can drive a car, work, retain things in my memory better and greatest... I don't have seizures anymore. I have been seizure and tumor free for 11 years now! I loved your story! Thanks for posting this video! I believe God had His hand on you also like He did on me! He is a good God! :-)
Thank you for sharing your story with me! I am so sorry you had to go through all that....but I am so happy you are back to normal now!!! Such a good feeling :) It really makes you grateful for life when you go through something like that....and gives you such a stronger/closer feeling with God. Wishing you the best!!
Kristin Daniell It did make me very thankful for the simple things in life. It all happens for a reason. God had a different plan for us than we knew! One day I was at work feeling so thankful and thanking God for what He got me through and helping me get to where I was that day. I prayed, "What could I do to repay you for what You've done for me?" I felt something inside say "give Him your whole life." Everything. At first that sounded like a lot and I wasn't sure I could give up all my interests. But with some time I finally did that. I knew it time to surrender my life to Jesus and live for Him. It's the best thing I have ever done! He had helped me overcome anger, selfishness, and He has healed me of a ulcer and acid reflex, and He has done many other wonderful things since then!!! I couldn't ask for anything better than this. Thanks for your reply. I wish you the very best too! You're a beautiful young lady! God Bless you.
Recovering from brain surgery here. It's nice to see others who have been through a similar experience. "God had my back." Love it. That's exactly how I felt.
Kristin Daniell Hi thanks for the video. I am 29yrs old and have been diagnosed with benign brain tumor on left frontal lobe and I am scared about the surgery that I couldn't able to walk or think after the surgery. I am very confused and it's being very hurtful.
Hello Bharath, Im sorry I did not reply sooner. It feels that most of us find out that we suffer from that diagnose in our late 20s. I just did a test to get free movie tickets, so I could take my sister to the movies. A month later, the doctor calls and tells me to come back. Dont lose hope, a beningn tumor can be removed. thats the good news. So far, I haven't gotten it removed yet and I tremble and worry. Sometimes I forget I have it and let life take over. Work, Studies, life ambitions clutch on me and the cape of responsibility weighs heavy on me. Can't imagine what will happen next, but try not to think about it and be strong. Fortune favors the bold, right? Love Sana
Sana L Hi Sana, Thanks for your soothing words. May I know what is the best way to contact you? I wanted to talk to someone who is taking any other kind of treatment other than English medicine. I live in Kansas and I am not sure whether it's safe to share my contact information here. My Facebook account is Bharath Kumar or chlv.bharath. could you please reply
bharath chouta im wishing you all the best for your future and may god keep you safe and healthy. Never give up I'm sending you my deepest love and blessings. May god bless you!
Thank you for posting this video. I just had brain surgery 3 weeks ago and relate to the roller coaster of emotions. Amazing how similar our stories are, also married for just over a year and had decided to start trying for a baby. im also a chronic "planner" and realizing how much I like working. Learning to slow down and definitely best lesson learnt of gods time is the best time.
I'm currently going through a battle with brain surgery. I had my first on November 25th last year and my second on January 5th of this year. My surgeon says I need another three surgeries and I'm terrified. This gave me hope. Thank you
Hi sweetie! I am so sorry you are having to go through all of this. I pray that you will have a successful surgery & a quick recovery/healing. My biggest prayer is that you will not need all the surgeries they think you will need. Keep your head up & your mind positive!
I just had a brain tumor surgery. Today it's my 3rd week since the surgery. i'm amazed how slimier yours and my cases are. Only mine was at the right side of my brain which controls left side of my body. I did the same mistake researching online and found it's hemispheric migraine and thought i have to live with it but one day it got worse like you and I couldn't talk for hour and decided to go ER and they did ct scan and MRI and i was informed i have a baseball size tumor and I should do the surgery tomorrow morning. Luckily that was George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C and they were best one around for that kinda surgery. Unfortunately I had no family member in the states at that time so I told my doctor i'm not gonna let you open my head unless i have a family member near me! I called my sister immediately and she flew from London the next day and the day after that I had the surgery and all the time I had the same feeling like you that god has my back and everything is going to be normal again. My surgery took 4 hours and right after that i was awake and started to joking with everyone at the operation room :D . what I really hated they had me doing another MRI right then without any pain killer. Horrible experience but i think that was for my best anyway then I was at the ICU for a day and I was released 3rd day of my surgery. I could walk without any help but it affected my left fine motor control so I could not play guitar for like a week. I couldn't even remember any chord at all. though working on it now hopefully i'll get back my skill soon. Thank you for sharing in such detail. now I know what i'm going through other people had the same experience and looking at you gives me amazing strength that you are doing amazing in 4 months so hopefully i'll be okay too. Thank you for the video. Sorry for my writing style. I cant type like a normal person right now anyway god blessed you and keep blessing and protected.
Farhan hey your comment is very helpful but I am having tumor on left side brain which is close to speech, vision and motor organ control center and I am not ready for surgery as my family is in India and I am not sure if the surgery fails how I can support them and I need to be dependent on them. how many months does it take to recover?
Dear Kristin! You are a beautiful person both inside and out and your story was so touching. My father had a brain tumor 7years ago taken out, very much like your tumor. I believe it was called a Meningioma (MD Anderson did a great job). It had been growing for years as well without ANY symptoms. In any case, your strength, your faith, your reminder to smell the roses was well received! Thank you for being so transparent and sharing!
Thank you for sharing your story. I could totally relate to it. I will be having surgery this week and I have experienced the same supernatural peace that you described. The fact that they found my tumor was miraculous as well. Thank God that He has had my back too!
Thanks so much for sharing! God was with me thru my first meningioma craniotomy 10 years ago and I had miraculous recovery. Now I face my second one, and I know that He has got my back again!
Could you please tell me more about your radiation treatment? I had two meningiomas, the large one was successfully removed with endoscopic endonasal approach, the second one is in a harder place and can’t be removed with surgery. I’m very scared to continue developing more meningiomas in the future...
Sorry to be late in reply. Was in recovery from my second craniotomy.UA-cam was blocked in recovery areas and radiation patients lodge. Sorry about your second one.Hope something can be done to keep it small.Radiation might do it,but you would have some side effects. Don't know if chemo would work, as it is not cancer. i know someone who has a large meningioma behind one eye which is inoperable, even by method you describe. It is very slow growing so there might be a way to remove it in future with all the advancements in medicine we have. i am lucky so far...2 weeks in on radiation, and no side effects, 3 more weeks to go. Will try to let you know how it goes. Be strong and know that you are unique.
thanks for sharing the story Kristen, samesymptoms thing happened to me in july 2015, I woke up doing 675 lb leg presses and by the end of the day could not stand up on my own- due to my left side going completely numb on me.my cause was a blood clot that resulted in a hemorrhagic stroke and brain bleed. I too am thinking on how to best tell my story to help others since your story can be the verything to give someone on that journey hope to persevere. I love that your makeup looks so light since you have such fantastic natural beauty. that should never be covered up. Thanks Again and God bless you!
Kristin, I had another MRI on 1/11 and a follow up is scheduled with the Neurologist on 2/1. According to the Neurological Center, my MRI showed nothing pressing or they would have scheduled me immediately. I am still concerned as the first MRI show a small growth in my brain, similar to the one that Cheryl Crow has. Your video gives me confidence but I am still worried. I only wished that I had your strength in God. I am trying and praying throughout my day. Thank you for your words.
Hi Kristin, I have a big brain tumor, called meningioma, 7 cm big in my small head. I just heard your miraculous story, five minutes ago. I am thinking about going to a surgery. Could you tell me what you are doing now, after 11 years of your tumor taking out? Does the tumor regrow? Do you have any side effects?... Thanks you very much! Take care of yourself. Dorothy
3rd Ventricular Brain Cyst; Shunted since age 6, 4 revision surgeries. On permanent disability. One thing I’ve learned though...All a person has to if they’re feeling depressed about their own situation (which is inevitable), go to your local e.r., hang out for a while, you’ll soon realize THAT IT COULD ALWAYS BE MUCH MUCH WORSE. Just a thought.
I had two tumors, one big as a hard ball another as big as a marble. I now have another one growing the size of a pea. All in the medulla oblongata. I had very similar experiences to Kristin. First I had this thing for at least 5 years being conservative. I had strange panic attack and eye movements along with shakes, I'm 54 I just thought I was old and had a drinking problem, though I don't drink much. Anyway one day I lost all feeling and down I went. Brain surgery went well. I'm with Kristen, I feel god was with me. Full recovery, but still have cancer. I'm going beat this too. Don't let any one tell you your going to die.We will all die but on are terms. Research, lot's of info out there. Thanks Ksristin
Thank you for sharing your story. Aug' 2012, I went through surgery to remove a 5cm meningioma from the left ventricle. There is a long story associated with it and one day I'll get to penning it. There's been a lot of physical challenges in recovery, however, I am still finding the mental ones harder to deal with but when it gets me down, I watch stories like yours and it gives me the inspiration to keep battling on. Cheers.
You go girl! Glad you made a speedy recovery and nay god continue to bless you!! It takes guts to share your personal story with us and you sharing made me feel like a part of your family I am sure you and your husband have a great life ahead of you and I hope you enjoy it!!!! Xoxoxoxoxoxoxo....... Amaris
Wow, thank you so much for sharing your story. I can relate so much even being in the beauty industry as well ☺️. I was 24 at the time when I was diagnosed with a 3.5 cm acoustic neuroma. (Last year), I had brain surgery and had a few hiccups after. I am now deaf in my left ear now and have some facial paralysis. Everything you said about the hair thing and the way you were at peace, I was the same exact way! . It's awesome to hear a young person tell her story and it just hits home. I'm happy your well and I'm 98% back to "normal" as well but it's the peace we have that gets us through and got us through! High five to another fighter and friend 😊🙏🏼
I'm so sorry to hear about your complications, but it's so refreshing to hear you "looking at the bright side" :) I pray your body continues to heal....even in the areas you aren't sure will. Remember that peace you had/have and keep your pretty head up!! Xoxo!
Thank you...I need this...still having seizers with the little of the beign tumor in my brain I have...fist size...please pray for me and my son, as we plan to have normal healthy lives. Thank you for your story. Many Many Blessings...I feel I know after your story...
Yes Kristin, Charles and Ally are very entertaining, fun to watch everyday updates on their life as they go through their trials. They have been doing daily vlogs for about 4 or 5 years. Enjoy their 2 dogs Marly and Zoey u will love them
In December 2011 (21 years old), I was also diagnosed with a (benign) brain tumor (pilocytic astrocytoma). Just like you, for over a year I thought I had hormonal migraine! My tumor was also very large. I think it's great you talk about it on here, sometimes it really feels like you're the only person who went through this :) Stay healthy!
I was diagnosed with a benign meningioma back in November 2022. I had been driving and had just gotten home. About 15 min later I lost all control on my right side, slid to the floor where I passed out. I came to approx. 10 minutes later where I was able to call 911. The hospital did a CT and MRI and I found out the next morning I had the meningioma. Got scheduled with the surgeon for February. I was never at any point scared, in fact I was joking about it. I knew in my heart that GOD had my back. The morning of surgery I'm laying in the pre-op area and I look out the window to see one small hole break in the clouds and this beam of sunlight shine down into my room. It was the most peaceful thing I've ever experienced. That was a Tuesday. After a 7 hour surgery I woke up the next morning as if nothing had happened. I was not in any pain, in fact I was ready to leave. They sent me home 2 days later. I've been incredibly blessed. I hope you are healthy now! May GOD continue to bless you!
I have a brain tumor as well on my right side above my ear. I'm was so nervous about it. I know when it's time to have surgery I will be overwhelmed. The down time is going to be crazy for me. But I know that, " GOD WILL HAVE MY BACK" But watching this video make me feel at ease. Thank you ❤
I am listening to your video I am in the hospital post op 6 hrs from nuro sugery of a large mengioma on right side upper with an attachment to the central sagittal vein But as i watch you speaking and your facial expressions and 7 min in I have the overpowering need to express how absolutely breathtaking you appear your personality and inflection as you speak your eyes I think your one of the most intriguing women i have observed Trust me I was married to a Vogue cover girl and dated a other model donna j slatton so its not as if i am trolling But what is it about you Anyway here i sit with my own brain tumor and at age 57 with plenty of wonderful women around You are so absolutely breath taking In personality and glowing health Well done !
Thank you for your video 💕 I have a grade 2 astrocytoma I’ve just had it removed. It’s nice being able to relate to someone who’s had around about the same symptoms, I used to get the stabbing sharp headache pain in that one location where the tumour was, straight after my surgery some of my symptoms went straight away, I still get every so often that sharp stabbing headache in that area, did you find it went away for you or did it carry on for some time after surgery? I have my next mri in a few weeks and time cannot get quicker! X
this made me tear! God will always watch you and im so happy that youre ok! youre even more of an inspiration now and love how positive you remained. thank you so much for sharing your story xox
And the thing, that you look and talk the way you look and talk right now its like miracle..!! really.. i cant believe this.. you are amazing girl :) God bless you
My girlfriends son has just been diagnosed with a brain tumour. I’m so scared and wanted to find out more, that’s why I decided to listen to your story. Even though we still not know if it’s cancer or not, I’ve decided to keep positive. It was amazing listening to your courageous and positive attitude. I feel like if you can go through something as scary as that, I might also be able to help my friends through this and be strong. It’s not even happening to me, but still I am so affected by the whole situation. I want to thank you for your inspirational video. Hugs from Denmark.🇩🇰😊
I am so sorry to hear....I pray everything goes smoothly with your girlfriends son and that God guides him through and he comes out healed and whole💜 Stay strong and positive...that will get you through more than anything! Xoxo!
I'm so glad that you are alright. God bless you girl. I've been back and forth to the doctor for my frequent migraines - I've been so worried because mine is on the left side - almost everything you said was what I am experiencing. I hope that it's not bad, but they are wanting to do more tests on me because my family doctor believes something is wrong. I'm so afraid, but to know you came through the bad parts - lets me know to be strong. Thank you
I enjoyed watching your video. Our cases are fairly similar. Three years ago I had an orange sized meningioma removed from my left frontal lobe. I had migraines for years, though mine weren't hormonal (I'm a guy). I started losing strength on my left side and had several instances when I couldn't form words or couldn't even sign my name. I would always tell my doctor about these things and he would have me do little tests like stand on one leg, push his hands up and down, etc. and tell me I wasn't showing any neurological signs something was going on. It was when I blacked out driving, luckily just backing into a parking space, that he ordered a MRI. Two hours later I was in the hospital and had the tumor removed four days later. I was discharged eight days after surgery. Like you, I was blessed I didn't need any physical therapy and completely recovered within three months. The doctors and nurses started calling me "miracle boy" because of the size and location of the tumor and the minimal recovery needed. I wholeheartedly support your views on getting checked out if you have any of these symptoms. It's great you put this video out to tell your story. I hope it encourages others to make sure they take care of their greatest gift, themselves.
my partner has brain tumor and he is only 22 yrs old right now and according to the doctors its not just one but several tumors already. he shares the same symptoms and worst is that his not capable of even standing on his own now. Will he still survive considering the fact that he has more than one tumor on his brain? Please pray for him and thank you very much.
Hi Steve, Thank you for your comment! Part of your comment got cut off, so I wasn't able to read it all...but I am so happy you are ok! You ARE a miracle! :)
Hi Jaypee, I am so sorry to hear about your partner....I will definitely be praying. Life can be so unpredictable sometimes, but keep your head up. I hope everything ends up being ok...I wish y'all the very, very best :)
Hi Kristin Daniell. Thank you for sharing your video. I've just recently been diagnosed (2 weeks ago) with a benign brain tumor. Starting searching 4 info on the Internet and so I stumbled on you vlogg. It feels comforting to see others sharing their journey and their experience through the whole brain tumor experience. Haven't shared the news with others, except my mother. Whom in turn thought I was lying to gain attention, so Im kinda going at it alone. Puts life in perpective really, like God in knocking at your door and wants to say HI. Happy you're doing good and love your Hairdo. Its trending ;D
Sana L I love your analogy...so true! It's super important to grow from these times and learn to care for ourselves :) Praying God places people in your life so you don't have to go through it alone....and also praying for a successful outcome for you!
Sana L Hi, even I am diagnosed with benign brain tumor on left frontal lobe on March 7th and feeling loneliness and not sure what will happen to me after the surgery. wish you good luck.
Thank you. I have another exam scheduled for 1/11 so I am hoping for the best. I liked that your strength came from God has my back. Thanks for sharing your story.
My best friends mom is getting brain surgery tomorrow for a tumor the size of a fist and this gave me so much hope. Thank you for shring your story.. you look so gorgeous with the short hair:)
Hey guys, just so you know, they won't shave little areas of your head when you go in for a normal MRI... What she was talking about is an MRI with brain mapping. When they do brain mapping then they have to put little sticky "dots" on your head and they have to shave your hair off so the "dots" adhere to your head. I just didn't want people to be afraid to go in for a normal brain MRI. You don't have to worry about them bringing out the hair clippers! Other than that, great story! Glad everything worked out!
Kristin... on Dec 3rd I had brain surgery to remove a large brain tumor too... I live in Montana, but I had to travel to San Francisco to UCSF to have the surgery, so I know EXACTLY what you went thru... Sister, you are not alone! I am so glad that you have your faith to help you get you thru this battle... God DOES have your back! You were lucky that you didn't mind having your hair cut... I cried like a little baby... Haaaa! Poor guy who was doing the shaving kept handing me tissues while he was shaving the areas for the little "life saver dots"... I know it's going to take years for my hair to grow out again, but the surgeons did a pretty good job of hiding the scars so my long hair still looks pretty good. =) I'm still healing, and now my biggest struggle is the seizures. THEY SUCK!
Also had a brain mapping + awake brain surgery! I also want to caution folks NOT TO SHAVE YOUR HAIR BEFORE SURGERY (within 1 week). My neurosurgeon said that he sometimes cancels the surgery if someone does that. It's due to a risk of nicks in your skin causing/getting infected. He has a nearly zero post-op infection rate, so I'll take that advice! Last thing you need is an infection during recovery!
Love the end sections 36:33 "Lessons learned" and 38:50 "Why I did this" (help 1 other person). Spot on! I too am recovering from brain surgery deep in my left frontal lobe. I also had persistent migraines (horomone related). I had warning signs ( I also ignored) and my neurologist (at Duke) sent me for an MRI before Christmas - when they found an ICH (inter-cranial hemorrhage causing a stroke) and my Cavernoma (#raredisease). I was very fortunate to have one of the best brain tumor surgeons in the world very nearby (Allan Friedman at Duke). At 8 weeks now I still have speech difficulties & am a little unsteady on my feet (right sided weakness - that walker is still handy). Tomorrow I'm getting my haircut and I LOVE your cut!!...time for the "new me") LOL! You look amazing! Thanks for posting - if I'd seen this sooner, I would have been your "one". Don't worry - I'm working on my blog (US Cavernoma Chronicles) - more voices will help!
Scuba KiwiNC Thank you so much for your message! I am so happy you had a good experience and pray your healing continues!! I love your positive outlook and wish you the very best!!!💕
Thank you for sharing your brain tumor experience, I also been diagnosis with a tumor on my left, frontal lobe, it was found accidentally and I Thank God it was found, I currently don't have any systems, Thank God once again, I am working on my Medical Clearance now and on Nov 29 of this year, I will be going under the surgeon's hands, but most importantly, God also has my back and he will be directing my surgery and blessing the hands of my neurosurgeon, Dr John Miller, from Brooklyn NY.
God bless your beautiful heart. Am so happy you are standing here today. You still look Gorgeous with short hair. You truly have an amazing stronger spirit now more then ever.
I had a seizure out of nowhere two days ago and was rushed to the hospital and they found a grade 2 tumor in my front right lobe of my brain..my surgery is next week and I am very scared..thank you for your story
amazing testimony I just got benign brain tumor surgery and going through rehabilitation and I have MRI scan on july 8 just worried and I have faith that God has healed me completely
I wish that I had known when all of this was happening - I was wondering where you were. It seems like everyone else had you in their prayers though, plus God's got your back! He works in such strong ways and sometimes we can't see it but he definitely made his presence known for you. You are so strong and blessed. I am so so happy you're okay!
I've been getting migraines since September so for about 5 months. It's like someone is squeasing my head. It can make me feel faint too. I have seen a Neurologist and have yet to get a brain scan. I loved your story :)
Did you happen to have an AVM tumor? I just had one the size of a softball removed from my brain this past November that I was apparently born with. Not sure if it's the same but I am happy your tumor was benign and you are doing well.
Hello! I found your story while researching brain tumor recovery. You see, my 30 year old daughter was just diagnosed with a brain tumor and going to have surgery in two weeks. Like you, so many things could be explained away until she started to have episodes where she didn't make sense when she spoke. Your story is inspirational. How are you doing now?
Hi, I was diagnosed with GBM4 2 years ( biopsy of cerebral abscess ). It turned out my immune system recognised the cancer cells and killed them by entrapping within a hardened abscess case. My bloods are no subject to research as I'm said to be naturally inoculated against Glioblastoma due to immuno memory.?
you are inspirational, my sister has been dealing with horomonal migraines, so far they have found white mighraine spots on the brain damage from migraines. I myself have recovered from brain surgery due to 2 brain annuerysms. I just want her to get better and get her MRI instead of self diagnosing and depressing and stressing herself and thinking she may possibly have MS, glad you are doing great. You are beautiful with short hair good luck on getting pregnant :)
I have a brain tumor also and I'm very scared about it im being as strong as I possibly can but I just want to say I hope you never grow your hair back it's absolutely stunning you where it will❤
I'm so sorry you feel that way :( The way I look had nothing to do with any treatment I received - everything was laid into place before I even knew what was going on...hard to explain, but it was definitely a God thing :)
Omg girl.. i was in shock, when i read that :( you are sooooooooo beautifull woman from inside and outside.. i see you have such i good heart!! Be positive and everything will be ok :) i believe in that. We love you girl!! Thanks for shareing! We love ya :) kisses
Well done, I’ve just gone through surgery last Friday..been kind of scared since leaving hospital..straight from ICU, but things are picking up..if anyone would like to talk would love to hear from you god bless
Kristen, did you need to take seizure medication afterwards, I don't suffer from seizure but I am going to be put on preventive seizure medication for 6 months.
Rebecca Rios Hi! I did, because they say anytime you have brain surgery you are at risk for seizures afterwards. I believe I also took them for a few minutes after my surgery!
For about a year, I've been having weird headache experiences similar to yours. It doesn't happen as regularly as your did. But it usually starts with my vision, it serves as a precursor for the big headache. Every time it happens, I notice a blind spot in the middle of my vision, then my right hand and arm go numb and tingly and it gradually spreads to my mouth and my tongue and gums go numb, as well as my nose. Then once that goes away, I get a really bad headache concentrated on the left side of my head, right where you had it as well. It all started once I started taking birth control, so I assumed I was having side effects to the pill. I changed brands about 6 months ago and I hadn't had any more of these "migraines" (I'm not sure what to call them). Except, I had one a few days ago and it was the first one in months, so I'm not sure if it's side effects or what. :/
I would most definitely get it checked out....it's better to be safe than sorry! Hopefully it's nothing and you will just have peace of mind knowing that! :)
God is always with us. I remember having that same feeling when i was in a car accident. Just that calm peace that I was going to be ok. PS You are so beautiful.
I am so grateful my video gave you some inspiration artwheelerau! I sincerely pray that you will have complete healing and peace as you deal with your challenges. I know it's very hard (sometimes the mental challenges are the worst) but keep your head up and take care of yourself! :) Best wishes to you!!!!
amazing testimony I just got benign brain tumor surgery and going through rehabilitation and I have MRI scan on july 8 just worried and I have faith that God has healed me completely
Yes, BE STRONG!!! :) Definitely get it thoroughly checked out - especially if you are having the same symptoms as I was! The earlier you find out, the better (if it's something bad) - but either way, be strong and know you can get through anything!!!!!
Thank you so very much for sharing your personal story with us. You are amazing, may God continue to bless you and your family, and with many more prosperous years to come!!
After your brain surgery when you were doing the physical therapy how did you handle the pain and get up and walk etc? what meds were you having to take for this? I ask you because your story is very near and dear to my heart and am going to have to experience something basically very similar and its very scary to me. If you can reply I appreciate it
You're right. Nurses now spend more time on the computers than they do actually caring for their patients. That is being dictated by management. As I stated previously, patient care is secondary. The more computerized codes, the better chance of billing the patient for more services. Another fact hospitals keep secret: They receive government stipends for converting to paperless charting. Even though in many cases, it would be quicker just to check off: + BS x 4 quadrants on a sheet.
our stories are so very similar. i was calm too. i'd say we have the exact story except my tumor is left frontal lobe in the speech area and cannot have surgery & now ive got my brain tumor back. ugh. im not as calm this time, I guess bc the first time It was an emergency. gotta do chemo and radiation. I had mine they said probably 7 yrs. I did have a brain biopsy that I almost died from and it didn't hurt and I did hardly any pain meds. I felt so alone during this bc everyone at my drs is like 90. I hate to say it makes me feel better that you did this vid, but I am. I wonder if you had to do a lot of steroids bc of the brain. im sad bc no one cared about my cancer. they don't now either. my mom is so mean to me. im almost 39 and I do count my blessings bc I have a hubby of 19 yrs and 2 teen boys. u just said February. my biopsy was 9 hrs on feb. 6th, 2009. I had hemmoraging and had to sit up for 3 months on major steroids. do u have a plate in your head? I do. do u have to take seizure meds? they told me anyone having brain surgery has to be on them for life. my hubby didn't do anything for me. hes a good guy, but he never watched me and I had a hemmorage bc I had to take care of my kids and cook. my hubby couldn't. he knows nothing. I had to do everything even tho I was dizzy on steroids, had weak legs from the steroids, was not allowed to lift or bend over. I pray for him bc he made me feel horrible. sad to say. im glad im not eligible for surgery this time bc he'd not take care of me properly. idk. ugh. so hard bc I feel hated by god at this point. im trying to stay faithful. just hard when no one around me is supportive. same as u knew it wasn't ganna be there, I knew mine was back. I have an mri next month and I hope mines gone. if not im starting chemo and radiation. I just seen this is your last vid. I hope you are ok!!!
My heart hurts for you so bad :( I can promise you that God doesn't hate you....just sometimes we are given a lot more in life than we think we can handle....and that's when we have to be a fighter and push through it. I pray for healing for you...and that your husband's heart would be softened and he would be the caring, loving husband he needs to be. I know how important it is to be surrounded by people who can love and support you...and I pray he would bring those people into your life! Xoxo!!!!!

God works in mysterious ways. Many good things happened for me too during my brain tumor journey. I was very lucky when my first seizure happened. I was at home, not in the public. Thank God! You are so beautiful. Best wishes for continued good health.

UA-cam recommended me a 7 year video. But all the times I questioned them, I'm glad I to see this one. Hope the journey is going well !
Your soul lebeautiful too
I've had a difficult relationship with God over the years but this video gave me so much to believe in. Thank you for sharing your story. ❤️
Stay strong and God Bless You.
Praying for strength and healing for you!!!!
I just got though my surgery. After 10 years this video is still helping people. Thank u.
Love that story!!! So glad you are doing so well! :)
Recovering from brain surgery here. It's nice to see others who have been through a similar experience. "God had my back." Love it. That's exactly how I felt.
Rebecca Yingling prayers for a speedy and full recovery!!!! :)
You're very welcome! :) I couldn't agree with you more! I hope you are recovering perfectly!
The battle of pain of a brain tumor can only be known by those who have been fighting with it. It's really a different world of such people.
Farhan Sending many prayers your way for a speedy and full recovery!! Hang in there and allow yourself plenty of time to rest and heal! :)
Thank God that He has had my back too!
crmax1 yes He does!! :) I hope you are recovering well, and living a healthy and happy life!!
Thanks so much for sharing! God was with me thru my first meningioma craniotomy 10 years ago and I had miraculous recovery. Now I face my second one, and I know that He has got my back again!
You are so right and I love your attitude!!! :) I pray everything goes super smooth and you recover perfectly! I will say a prayer for you!!
surgery over and all well so far...radiation treatments next to try to avoid any more tumors
Praying for no side effects all the way through!
thanks for sharing the story Kristen, samesymptoms thing happened to me in july 2015, I woke up doing 675 lb leg presses and by the end of the day could not stand up on my own- due to my left side going completely numb on me.my cause was a blood clot that resulted in a hemorrhagic stroke and brain bleed. I too am thinking on how to best tell my story to help others since your story can be the verything to give someone on that journey hope to persevere. I love that your makeup looks so light since you have such fantastic natural beauty. that should never be covered up. Thanks Again and God bless you!
William Martin Thank you for sharing your story! I pray you are living a happy, healthy life! :)
Thank you for your video and sharing your experience with this surgery. Best of of luck and I hope you are doing well and healthy!
Adam777 I am, thank you!!
I'm so sorry to hear about your tumors :( I pray you heal and the tumors & cancer die for good....and that you live a long and healthy life!

Cheers.
You look great with short hair! Prayers for complete healing!
Blue Eyed Southern Belle Thank you!! I am healthy and doing well! :)
Thank you for sharing. I'm waiting for my brain surgery. This was encouraging. Thanks.

Fresh Botanical Skin and Muscle Therapies Sending many prayers your way for a healthy life for you and your son! :)
Your story gives hope for lots of brain tumor survivors. the information shared is truly helpful and i am very happy for you :) :)
Yes Kristin, Charles and Ally are very entertaining, fun to watch everyday updates on their life as they go through their trials. They have been doing daily vlogs for about 4 or 5 years. Enjoy their 2 dogs Marly and Zoey u will love them
Beautiful. Thanks for sharing 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
In December 2011 (21 years old), I was also diagnosed with a (benign) brain tumor (pilocytic astrocytoma). Just like you, for over a year I thought I had hormonal migraine!
My tumor was also very large.
I think it's great you talk about it on here, sometimes it really feels like you're the only person who went through this :)
Stay healthy!
Thank you for sharing your story, your an inspiration, god does have your's and everyone else's back! It sometimes takes a shock/tragedy to realise
Thank you! You are exactly right!
Just had brain surgery two weeks ago because I had a blood lesion in my brain. It was cool listening to something I can relate to.
I’m glad the video helped you! Praying you are healing well!
Thank you ❤
Praying you have peace and heal quickly!
YOU are a blessing! I am so glad you are ok. Thank you so much for sharing your story; I am sure it will inspire many others. xoxo
I am listening to your video
I am in the hospital post op 6 hrs from nuro sugery of a large mengioma on right side upper with an attachment to the central sagittal vein
But as i watch you speaking and your facial expressions and 7 min in
I have the overpowering need to express how absolutely breathtaking you appear your personality and inflection as you speak your eyes
I think your one of the most intriguing women i have observed
Trust me
I was married to a Vogue cover girl and dated a other model donna j slatton so its not as if i am trolling
But what is it about you
Anyway here i sit with my own brain tumor and at age 57 with plenty of wonderful women around
You are so absolutely breath taking
In personality and glowing health
Well done !
brantcompany thank you so much! I hope your recovery is going well! 🙏🏼
I did feel like it went away for the most part after surgery. Praying for positive results for you!!!
this made me tear!
Hi Steve,
Thank you for your comment! Part of your comment got cut off, so I wasn't able to read it all...but I am so happy you are ok! You ARE a miracle! :)
Hi Jaypee,
I am so sorry to hear about your partner....I will definitely be praying.
I liked that your strength came from
God has my back. Thanks for sharing your story.
John Morales you're welcome!! Praying for good news at your next appointment! God has your back regardless...always remember that!
My best friends mom is getting brain surgery tomorrow for a tumor the size of a fist and this gave me so much hope. Thank you for shring your story.. you look so gorgeous with the short hair:)
Thank you so much! I hope your friend's mom's surgery went well and she is healing perfectly! :)
Oh my gosh, thank you for clarifying that! You are exactly right! I didn't mean to imply that! :)
Kristin... on Dec 3rd I had brain surgery to remove a large brain tumor too... THEY SUCK!
911ambulancegirl how are you doing now ?
I love your positive outlook and wish you the very best!!!💕
you gave me a whole new perspective on life that i couldnt thank you enough for! i for sure put this video on my favorites list thank you!
Rebecca Rios You're welcome! I will pray you have a successful surgery, total healing and quick recovery! God has your back!!! 🙏🏼💜
I was just diagnosed with a large frontal meningioma last week♥️ thank you for sharing this
Praying for God’s peace and healing for you!

You are so beautiful! I'm so glad you are okay and have trusted God through it all!
I've been getting migraines since September so for about 5 months. It's like someone is squeasing my head. It can make me feel faint too. I have seen a Neurologist and have yet to get a brain scan. I loved your story :)
Thank you! Praying you get some answers & a positive outcome!
@Kristin Daniell Luckily nothing was wrong, it just have been my medication, I'm all good now!
Did you happen to have an AVM tumor? I just had one the size of a softball removed from my brain this past November that I was apparently born with. Not sure if it's the same but I am happy your tumor was benign and you are doing well.
So sorry I am just now seeing this :( No, mine was a Meningeoma tumor. So glad you had yours removed...hope you are recovering well!!
I had a AVM on my cerebellum Dr. Removed my AVM but now there's nothing I can do
It's a tumor or AVM????
avm is a (arteries and veins malformation)
Thank you! I am wonderful and healthy!🙏🏼 Praying your daughter has a successful surgery and speedy total recovery! Hang in there!!
Kristin Daniell Makeup Artistry how are you up to this time??
@@donaldzuramp4404 I am doing well!!
@@kristindaniell477 i am happy to hear that! Thanks for update
Hi,
I was diagnosed with GBM4 2 years ( biopsy of cerebral abscess ). It turned out my immune system recognised the cancer cells and killed them by entrapping within a hardened abscess case.
My bloods are no subject to research as I'm said to be naturally inoculated against Glioblastoma due to immuno memory.?
what an inspirational video, and what a fab lady you are, so very brave and also very beautiful, keep smiling lovely lady xxxx
Your story is such an inspiration pretty girl! Thanks for sharing and for being such a blessing to those around you :)
Thank you for talking about your experience
Isaac Somoza thank you for watching :)
you are inspirational, my sister has been dealing with horomonal migraines, so far they have found white mighraine spots on the brain damage from migraines.
I have a brain tumor also and I'm very scared about it im being as strong as I possibly can but I just want to say I hope you never grow your hair back it's absolutely stunning you where it will❤
George Norman Hope you are on the road to recovery!
I'm so sorry you feel that way :( The way I look had nothing to do with any treatment I received - everything was laid into place before I even knew what was going on...hard to explain, but it was definitely a God thing :)

Thank you very much! Sorry for taking so long to update - I had to get LOTS of rest to heal! : )
Hi Kristin hope you are still doing ok and recovering well and you and your husband have some luck with starting your family xx
Good. I am so glad, your so beautiful, brave and strong. IM GLAD YOU ARE OKAY and BLESSED. xo

Thank you for sharing.
Thank you!! I hope so! : )
After your brain surgery when you were doing the physical therapy how did you handle the pain and get up and walk etc? what meds were you having to take for this? I ask you because your story is very near and dear to my heart and am going to have to experience something basically very similar and its very scary to me. If you can reply I appreciate it
God bless you. I'm so glad u are well.
Thank you so much!! Be strong through whatever it is you are facing!!! :)
Yes!! I'm totally healed! :)
Xoxo!!!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! Means so much to me!!
