    Ficus Microcarpa is an awesome tree to grow. Easy to care for and propagate from cuttings 🙂

    I've got one that I got 20 years ago and put it in bonsai soil in a large 1 gallon bucket not potting soil the better draining soil mix will help my tree is 5 feet and is going to be a big bonsai tree

    To much compost soil.. there should be more granular aspects to the potting media..this will give good drainage & moisture retention without causing root rot..🤔🤔👍

    What size training pot are you using? Got a ginseng ficus coming and looking for pot sizes/ideas, I'm gonna repot out of the nursery pot into decent soil and better pot

      Mine's a 6.5"x5". I've found it to work great for starting out!
