I remember showing my dad this anime, and he was PISSED at this ending imao. The fact that they literally excluded the character that saves Guts and Casca from the anime is hilarious. I can’t imagine how grim it must of been for people who didn’t know the manga existed, to watch the ending of this episode. On the bright side, my dad did ask to borrow my berserk manga collection so he could find out what happened after the eclipse lol
I watched it as a teenager on a burned DVD around 2004 and had no idea about the manga or anything. It was grim and horrifying, made me depressed for days. At the same time, it's also what made the ending so special.
"why does griffith does this" well, it's femto, he wanted to make sure he breaks all the links between him , caska and guts, but ultimately, he failed this in the manga you learn that.
I'll never forget watching The Eclipse, it is burned into my brain after all these years. Judeau's death in particular (my boy deserved so much better) genuinely broke my spirit for a few days, I had to go for a long walk after it all ended. I've never been so affected by a story before or since.
So, now we owe you more explanations. Casca's r*pe by Griffith is worse in the manga because she screams in pain and bleeds, and Griffith spends his time tormenting her by spinning her around so she can face Guts, to which she told him not to watch (If Guts did turn away, he would probably have kept his right eye); but he just couldn't, Griffith ultimately commited the most evil act a man can do, and there are aggravated circumstences: Guts has already been victim of r*pe at age 9 and he even shared this pain with Casca so he knows the suffering that such act causes, the fact that it's done by the same man who saved her from this exact suffering and the fact that ... Casca was PREGNANT ! Indeed, Casca was pregnant from Guts, and the demonic fetus we see in episode 1 is actually their son corrupted by Griffith's (or Femto's) violation. And now Guts is traumatised forever, the image of Casca's destruction is forever sealed in his now blind right eye, this is the last image he'll ever have from there. So a lot of people ask why Griffith does that, so it's quite simple : Griffith was in love with Guts. His love for Guts made him make unnecessary risks and drove him away from his all-conquering dream, which Casca noticed and blamed Guts for it (at this time, she loved Griffith but he didn't love her back), when he fought Guts in the snow, he was so heartbroken that he threw everything away due to Guts abandoning him, this is one of the only time Griffith was down, the other one was where he sold his body to the old Gennon. The goal was to hurt Guts the most possible to assert dominance, it has consequences other than that too but I can't say too much. To this day, this act and this event are still fresh in Berserk, Casca will become crazy, devolving into being mute and unable to do basic things. And Guts' brand is now the source of all his future pain because he's now hunted by evil spirits and apostles. There is also a hidden chapter that Miura cancelled at that time (when he was alive obviously) where all the lore of Berserk is revealed. God is the Idea of Evil, a giant heart pumping human's dark souls (they come from dead apostles or sacrifices or victims of evil apostles). He exists because humans suffer and make suffer, the behelits are tears from victims and doers of evil and the Godhand are only an extension of the will of evil manifested differently depending on the members. Apostles are humans fated by CAUSALITY to throw away their soul for the Idea of Evil for the sake of power in exchange for the sacrifice of a loved-one, they are evil by nature because they sold their humanity to reach that stage where they act on their desire (r*pe, domination, violence, murder, cannibalism) completely unrestricted. I hope you love some explanations, also, Guts and Casca get "saved" by a character I told you they didn't include, but now, Guts is crippled and damned.
@@BaldinBlack This anime doesn't adapt black swordsman, Gut's childhood, the Skull Knight, Silat and the Bakiraka, Wyald and the black dogs, Guts' sexual trauma due to Donovan, The King's disgusting antics towards his daughter, Puck, The aftermath of the eclipse. This isn't a faithful adaptation, and the movies are even worse than that at adaptation the material and people forget that Golden Age is a flashback arc, people reading the manga know that Guts doesn't have his left arm and his right eye in the first chapter and they already see Femto alongside the 4 God Hands during the Slug Count battle. If you don't fully read the manga from the start, you miss a lot of valuable information that isn't adaptated, also the author is dead and the series has been going on for more than 30 years, there isn't much to spoil to begin with since people know that things happen. @@BaldinBlack Spoilers ? It was out there back in the 90s, most of you weren't even born when Golden Age was drawn, it was out before mangas like Naruto, HunterXHunter and even One Piece.
Incase you don't know, this anime is based of the manga berserk. This adaptation left out a lot of important information. Like the childhood of guts and how managed to escape the eclipse. You should definitely check out the manga if you're interested. I advise you start from the beginning tho.
So if I remember right Guts' sword breaks in his fight with Wyald. If that name doesn't ring a bell it's because THEY DIDN'T ANIMATE IT. It's one of my favorite fights since I believe it's the first apostle that Guts kills timeline wise.
@@DenverSenpai Well the Anime just follows a short part of the mange, called "The golden Age". After this, the whole story turns really dark into fantasy/horror.
"what is Femto/Griffith raping caska for?" idk man maybe cuz he fucking hates guts now. i would think all the death stares griffith was giving both caska and guts everytime he saw them show affection to each other would be some indication. Raping the person you hate the most's girlfriend would probably be the worst way u can get back at them. In some twisted way he blames guts for the torture, he blames guts for leading him astray, and hes hurt by guts "betrayal". SImply killing guts and caska would be too lenient of a payback for Femto i guess. And its incredibly ironic, that in the beginning it was Griffith that was always standing up for Guts whenever caska would yell at Guts. Now Griffith is using caska to torment guts in the most horrible way possible.
I was incredibly late to the party and finally finished this masterpiece with my partner last night (who is a huge fan). Watching your reactions, the teary eyes and clenched fists are so accurate. Its not easy to watch, and will definitely be something to process for a long time. Especially as I move on to the manga. Absolutely phenomenal. RIP Miura ♥️
He broke Casca when she was finally thinking of someone else when he always pushed her aside and made Guts obsessed with him (for revenge) when he decided to follow his own way. Griffith is probably the fictional character I hated the most.
Lost his entire battalion, lost his eye, lost his arm, watched his love interest being abused and was betrayed by someone he called "a friend", now we understand why Guts doesn't give a damn about the world.
Yea, the episode I linked you to (26) explains how at least Guts survives. Rickert also shows up (as the 97 series forgot about him), so please do a reaction on that one! Thanks for the "a person" shout out, haha. The....on Casca serves a much greater purpose later in the story, despite it looking like it was only about Guts. Honestly, I don't get emotional about anything really, but I had tears streaming down my face during the last two episodes. It was so horrendous, but because the transition to that madness came out of nowhere, it hit super hard and yea, is my favourite animé/manga of all time. Judeau was my favourite.
@@DenverSenpai It didn't exist when I first watched it (I think about 6 years ago now), but the films did, so I bought those, watched them straight after and was so happy to have seen a better wrap-up at the end of the third film, over what episode 25 gave us. The story and character development is great, but in terms of story coverage, this only covers like chapter 1 to around 96. The manga has about 17 prequel chapters lettered chapter 0a, 0b, 0c etc, plus the main chapters, which I'm up to date with, but from memory think it's currently at chapter 367. It's so good, haha. I'm 37, have largely grown out of anime and manga, but Berserk still holds my attention. I'm there as soon as a new chapter drops, because Miura's team and best friend are doing a fantastic job of continuing his legacy.
To find out how Guts survived and have much more information about this arc, I recommend the anime Berserk: The Golden Age - Memorial Edition. After Kentaro Miura, the creator of the manga, died, they took the 3 Berserk movies (which tells the same arc as the 1997 anime) and turned it into a series but with some improvements and new scenes. I recommend them to understand everything well. Greetings, very good reactions!
So this is just my headcanon for the rape of Caska. Griffith saw Guts as a friend, as an equal (as we see when Griffith is in the cocoon and stating Guts is the only one who ever made him forget his dream). So the raping of Caska, I think, is a sort of 'no way back' type of thing. He's cutting all ties, leaving all his humanity behind. After the shit he did, there's no way back, no way to think of his 'friend' again. He's purposefully taking the route of no return. It's not as simple as hurting Guts or Caska, it's shedding his humanity, and hurting his former best friend so much, he can never go back to the old times. I think it's a highly psychological thing for 'Griffith' at this point. Do something so bad you can never take back, to free yourself of any attachment you ever had of anyone. As I said, just headcannon, but I believe Miura was always a bit philosphical in his characters and character writing.
In order to achieve a dream, Griffith had to overcome all the obstacles on the way, and humanity seems to be one of them, so your headcanon is supervalid :)
The Berserk 97 anime you watched is the most faithful adaptation of the manga. However, it still lacks a few important pieces. The most significant missing part is the character named "Skull Knight", who for some reason was not included in the anime. This character is crucial for better understanding what happens during and after the Eclipse. My recommendation is to first read the manga. The second option, which I think is more suitable for your channel, is to watch the scenes from the "Memorial Edition" anime, which is a remastered version of the "Golden Age Arc" films with improved visuals and effects and additional scenes. I'm not exactly sure, but watching the last two episodes or the final episode should be sufficient to understand the Eclipse and the subsequent events. This way, you can get answers to questions like "How did Guts survive the events and escape?", "What happened to Casca?", and "What is happening and will continue to happen in this world?"
Berserk is the best work of dark fantasy to ever exist. I really hope Miura's assistants had long conversations with him about the series. The world deserves an ending to this masterpiece.
I think this ending is really smart leaving out skull knight saving them just made tons of people read the manga just to find out what happened and why.
Griffith did what he did because still blamed guts for all the suffering he went through, he wanted revenge, to feel powerful and in control again, and to prove to himself he didn't have any "weak" human feelings anymore. Since the 1997 anime didn't include the character skull knight (he appeared to guts after he left the band and during the eclipse to save him and casca, and also to save rickert from the apostles who killed the rest of the band that time), they couldn't make a reasonable ending. There is a LOT more to berserk than what was shown in this anime, it is to me the greatest manga ever written, it helped me through heavy depression a few years ago, helped me not give up on it all and value life despite the bitter parts. If you decide to keep looking into it I hope you make more videos so we can accompany you through this journey, thanks for everything!
That is Griffith. The same person. Nothing has changed except now, he has no more weakness. Griffith does not feel any emotions like regret, remorse, empathy, sadness. Yes you are right. Griffith did that to Casca to make Guts suffer. But why does he want Guts to suffer? Just for revenge? Well, the real reason is revealed later in the manga. I will tell you the spoiler below if you want to see it. Griffith wanted to make Guts suffer to test himself. He was checking to see if he is free from his weakness. He was checking to see if he would feel any empathy, sadness, friendship for Guts. He was free from it.
I prefer this anime adaptation to the original manga's storytelling. This series managed to make Berserk more "realistic" and darker removing the over the top and silly parts from the manga in order to compose a better story like this "ending" that was just an event that was meant to be a part of a continuation into further stories that became more fantastical that it already was.
That's actually the worst opinion I've ever heard ever. Compositionally and in quality. The manga is a million times better. It's more realistic in terms of the characters, makes more sense since it explains a lot more, and is able to combine multiple literary devices while maintaining the cruelty. Also, the art, pacing and emotion is done better in the manga.
@@g_g... No, the characters are all over the place in the manga, the gore is cartoonish and gratuities, imaginationland becoming a reality is absurd and the best part just stays in the Golden AGe Besides the manga has that mess up filler of Wyald You are out of your mind and have no clue about anything
The basic continued story of Berserk is that Guts struggles against fate and becomes better because of it; Griffith's tale is a man raised to "holy" omnipotence at the cost of his soul, succumbing to his deepest desires and validated by "God" literally.
Griffith has no interest in Casca nor does he want revenge against Guts. He is testing himself, if Guts has any control over him and if he has any feelings towards Guts. Because his feelings towards Guts has made him lose control from his point of view (see his monologue when he was in prison). Thus he did the unimaginable to see if he would feel anything... And he felt nothing. Imho this is the reason why an escape is possible at all for Guts. Because Griffith has stop caring about him entirely. Now only his dream counts and nothing else. And yeah, the entire anime is just a gigantic cliffhanger to make you wanna read the manga. Whoever suggested you to watch the anime also wants you to read the manga. You have been trapped xD
One of those cases, when we trapped ourselves by our random decision to watch this show out of all the possible options :) Or... how random was it? Probably our decision was predetermined for us...
Well there is a different interpretation to this. Griffith being the control freak that he is had to somehow force his control back on Guts and Casca but Guts in specific who already defied his control once. So doing the R thing was like a power move for him(remember how he also basically did SA to princess Charlotte to feel powerful and in control again when Guts defeated and left him). And now Guts hating Griffith is focused solely on him again instead of living his own life. He's a narcissistic psychopath.
@@GatsuKS While I get how you may end up witch such an interpretation, Imho you are missing an important point of evidence here. Griffith's last words before becoming Femto: "Yes.. Out of all the thousands of comrades and tens of thousands of enemies. You made me forgot my DREAM." Guts was able to make him forget/ignore his dream and thus the biggest obstacle to his dream. But this was only possible for Guts due to Griffith's friendship feelings towards him. And since those feelings emerged while he had control over Guts, just renewing the control over him wouldn't eliminate the risks for his DREAM. And the transformation is about his dream. After it, Griffith wants to confirm that he now is sole focused on his DREAM and that nothing else could cloud/change his mind. Just killing Guts would have involved the risk of having afterthoughts at "some point in eternity"! That risk is way to high. He had to make sure that he really doesn't care anymore for anything else except his DREAM. Thus he did the unspeakable thing to see if he himself has any reaction to it. Note that he is calmly watching Guts over the entire R. If he would really wanted to taunt Guts, he wouldn't be so calm and selffocused, but he would taunt him for actively with his face expressions and words. But he is watching Guts' pain to see if this will make him abound his dream. Sorry, for the wall of text. I have discussed this topic several times and thus I tend to get lengthy with my explanations..^^
watch the 2016-2017 anime, i know its not popular within the fandom because of the animation style but it has a lot of great scenes and its honestly not that bad. Plus I think you would be the first Yt reactors to do it!
There aren't a lot of people who react to the 2016 one, just a few dudes. I don't think its that bad, but the manga is far superior and even the ps2 game which adapts the same chapter as the second season is even better in that aspect.
The end of the 3rd movie shows how Guts escapes from the eclipse. You guys should react to that scene. You can start the movie in the middle of the eclipse or something to save yourselves time. The movie has good animation so you guys will enjoy it. The movie was later turned into a series of episodes with new content added in, so technically you could react to the episode of that series as well. I don't know when the eclipse starts in that series though.
You guys should watch the third film about the end of this arc. The version Berserk Memorial Edition is better in terms of adapting this part of the eclipse
You may be interested to the 3 movies Berserk: The Golden Age (The Egg of the King, The Battle for Doldrey, The Advent). It does not have many scenes (the bonfire of dreams is missing), but it has the end of the Eclipse. Even after watching the 97 anime, they are worth watching.
Well, there is a theory that would explain why Griffith did that with a cascas, and if you raise the fact that Griffith was probably in love with Guts, you could find him in a sense because I affection for him so much losing him, and because the "punishment", doing him That to Casca. This anime is an adaptation of a manga, so there are many things that were removed, there are movies that tell exactly this same story but with characters and scenes that this anime did not include, which give meaning to how guts escape from there. I will always recommend reading Berserk's manga, even if you already saw anime, you understand many things, and art is the best of the industry.
big spoiler: he raped her to taint the baby from his demon seed to be able to use it as a vessel to get back to his human form to become the king he always wanted to be. griffith played 4D chess but femto plays 7D chess.
Thanks for the last episode, guys. So, yeah, this is the Berserk. Cruel and violent. I really hope that you'll read manga. Or maybe watch a Berserk memorial edition three movies. Thank you.
Griffith essentially ra**d casca as a power move over guts. The reason it aligns with his ambitions is because it is him essentially saying to guts, "I'm reclaiming my superiority over you" after he was made to feel below guts, when he defeated him and left the band of the hawk.
It was fun and it will be interesting if you react to the ending of the third movie when you get your info about how Guts escaped and some extra stuff. Just be ready for a major character from the manga that was completely left out in the 97 series.
This was so hard to watch and read the first time. The second time your are waiting for it, but it strikes just as hard on a second watch/read. It is so weird to think that this is really when it starts. Everything before this has been an appetiser. The start of the full dinner.
Now go to the end of the third movie for closure pls😭 The following is NOT a spoiler but the translation when judeau died was bad. Basically he dindnt do ALL you saw through the anime because he was a leader but because he always loved casca :_( That's why Even in his last breath he didnt Say the words "I love You" because that would make casca feel Bad and prolly cry 😢 So he cared for her till his very last breath
That assault was to show Guts.. that he (Griffith) is superior to him.. and he thinks that like Guts ruined his dream.. so.. he will ruin his dream of having happy life.. You once casca was on his finger tips..(loved Griffith) doing what he says.. but because of Guts she got freedom from him.. he wanna show Guts that she's still in his hands.. And that Guts is still helpless against griffith
Even if you watched the original audio, I would suggest to watch the bloopers from the English dub. You can find em on YT (30min+). They are really funny and lift up the mood after episode 25...^^
Berserk is like Dragonball Z back in the days. A masterpiece and a sign for Anime. Well, compared to Dragonball Z with the great fighting scenes; never will forget the first fight between Son Goku and Frieza, Berserk is the symvol for Dark Anime Fantasy created by Kentaro Miura; RIP. I has begun with the Anime in the end of the 90´s too. After that I got the Manga and THAT is really a masterpiece. The drawing of Miura is another dimension; the emotion on the character faces, the fights between Guts and the demons, the story of Guts, but also of Griffith and Casca and the other.......awesome. If you don´t know the Manga, please read them. Unfortunately Miura passed away few years ago. But one of his assistants know how Miura want to end Berserk and we are now near the last Arc in the Manga. And the great thing is, the Assistant of Miura no his work, because the drawing is the same art and deep emotion like Miura. In 2016 the have made another Berserk Anime, but it wasn´t good in animation in my point of view. The story above the have make a remake in 2017with a triology. Better animation and the same story in 13 episodes. There in the end of the last episode you will get a little glimps of the ongoing story and how Gut escaped the situation. However, great reaction of both of you, like always 😆 Look forward for the next one.
Just watch the entire memorial series or all three movies. It really doesn’t matter which. You’ll get a lot out of either of them now that you are familiar with the events or the ‘97 anime.
@@DenverSenpaiThe movies and the memorial edition are essentially the same thing without nitpicking the details. The point is that you should definitely watch all of whichever one you choose and not just the last part like some are suggesting. In my opinion, of course.
I loved all these reactions. You guys should watch the memorial edition movies and the manga . The 2016 anime is a bad adaptation but you should watch it too
I don't think watching the last 30 minutes of the final movie will answer many questions to be honest. It relies heavily on a character that was completely cut out of this version of the anime. You will find out how Guts survived the Eclipse but it will probably still feel hollow because you won't know that character. My recommendation for your own personal enjoyment is to just jump right into the manga and to start from the very beginning. That's exactly what I did when I first watching this anime a few years ago and even though you're reading a lot of the same story, there's so much more in the manga and a lot of scenes are handled so much better that it's really worth the effort.
"Wild, wild, wild, very wild", if you guys get around to read the manga, Wyald will truly show you what "wild" really is, the second most despicable character in Berserk to this very day, second only to Griffith... "EXCITEMENT AND ENJOYEMENT!" will haunt your souls... Forever(the only character I really feel it is justified and understandable to never be adapted in any of the animations)
Leaving out Skull Knight was a mistake - unfortunately the movies also leave out the important character stuff that makes the eclipse sooooo bad... the newer series also misses alot of the psych horror - though while the Lost Children Arc is spectacular - its um.... hardcore to say the least - @TheAlmightyLoli does a 20+ hour run down of the manga that is exceptional.
Spoilers for the manga: Dont worry when my boi (not to be named here) slaps the smile off of griffith, was one of the single greatest peices of art ive ever seen.
We did not know that Dub will be a good option when started the show, but then when we received a lot of requests to switch to Dub, we started a voting poll for what is better "sub" or "dub" and "sub" still won in fair election :)
If you don't mind reading manga then for sure go that route. It's the only way to get the full story as every anime adaptation is a bit lacking. It was the first manga I ever read because I had to know what happens next.

If you don't fully read the manga from the start, you miss a lot of valuable information that isn't adaptated, also the author is dead and the series has been going on for more than 30 years, there isn't much to spoil to begin with since people know that things happen. Also, I talked about a hidden chapter that gives the answers about who is God and what Apostles and Behelit truly arc, it's during Griffith's transformation so it makes sense I talk about it.
@@SirYwhach Thanks for giving me a bunch of information that I already knew. You talking about things that only happened in the manga are spoilers on their own, and it’s information they don’t know. It may be common knowledge to us but not to them.
@@BaldinBlack Spoilers ? It was out there back in the 90s, most of you weren't even born when Golden Age was drawn, it was out before mangas like Naruto, HunterXHunter and even One Piece.
3:17 "Now I see why people hate Griffith so much" - Noooooot yet xD
Incase you don't know, this anime is based of the manga berserk. This adaptation left out a lot of important information. Like the childhood of guts and how managed to escape the eclipse. You should definitely check out the manga if you're interested. I advise you start from the beginning tho.
And then everyone lived happily ever after.
So if I remember right Guts' sword breaks in his fight with Wyald. If that name doesn't ring a bell it's because THEY DIDN'T ANIMATE IT. It's one of my favorite fights since I believe it's the first apostle that Guts kills timeline wise.
This terrible cliffhanger made me read my first manga, because I needed to know how the story proceeds.
Same, I was so upset I needed answers
Probably the entire season is just a manga trailer lol
@@DenverSenpai
Well the Anime just follows a short part of the mange, called "The golden Age".
After this, the whole story turns really dark into fantasy/horror.
@@Kattytatty02there’s way more
Same lol. A decades long rabbithole.

Any first time watching Berserk will change your life. I remember that feeling completely.
He broke Casca when she was finally thinking of someone else when he always pushed her aside and made Guts obsessed with him (for revenge) when he decided to follow his own way. Griffith is probably the fictional character I hated the most.
That makes sense!
Thank you guys for watching berserk. I wish Berserk some day gets a full official show with many seasons.
Seems like people were waiting enough to start making the show themselves haha
Lost his entire battalion, lost his eye, lost his arm, watched his love interest being abused and was betrayed by someone he called "a friend", now we understand why Guts doesn't give a damn about the world.
Yeah! We would not either
Yeah, thanks on that recommendation!
I can't ever get over this scene. Casca would have done anything for Griffith. 😭
watch Beserk Memorial edition, it's 13 episodes and a remake for this season, and they explain how they escaped from the eclipse
We will have some berserk related videos soon :)
@@DenverSenpai love to hear that!
Thanks for clarifying that details!
@@g_g... No, the characters are all over the place in the manga, the gore is cartoonish and gratuities, imaginationland becoming a reality is absurd and the best part just stays in the Golden AGe
Besides the manga has that mess up filler of Wyald
You are out of your mind and have no clue about anything
@@DenverSenpai "Is it like the hand of God hovering above? At least it is true that man has no control, even over his own will." - Void
You made me forgot my DREAM."
Guts was able to make him forget/ignore his dream and thus the biggest obstacle to his dream.
Maybe some time in the future, but for now we will take a break from berserk animated series, and will dig manga :)
greatest manga of all time.
Thanks for recommendation! :)
You guys should watch the third film about the end of this arc.
The version Berserk Memorial Edition is better in terms of adapting this part of the eclipse
In the film there is a scene of a much loved / goat character fighting against the zodd, While the eclipse happens
I think u guys should watch the ending of 2016 Berserk to see how he escaped.
Unless y’all want to watch the memorial edition 😬.
We did! :)
In a way Griffith was obviously in love with Guts! If not romantic, at least brother's love
big spoiler: he raped her to taint the baby from his demon seed to be able to use it as a vessel to get back to his human form to become the king he always wanted to be. griffith played 4D chess but femto plays 7D chess.
He didnt forgot his sword ,his sword was a noname sword anyway and got broken.
Thanks for the last episode, guys. So, yeah, this is the Berserk. Cruel and violent.
I really hope that you'll read manga. Or maybe watch a Berserk memorial edition three movies. Thank you.
Are y'all actually in Denver or is that just a part of the name? Would love to meet more manga/anime fans!
Currently in Denver :)
@@DenverSenpai Are you doing any events or anything coming up?
Griffith essentially ra**d casca as a power move over guts. The reason it aligns with his ambitions is because it is him essentially saying to guts, "I'm reclaiming my superiority over you" after he was made to feel below guts, when he defeated him and left the band of the hawk.
Makes total sense!
The manga is more detailed and the story is still going on but it’s also more graphic 😂
Basically he dindnt do ALL you saw through the anime because he was a leader but because he always loved casca :_(
That's why Even in his last breath he didnt Say the words "I love You" because that would make casca feel Bad and prolly cry 😢 So he cared for her till his very last breath
That's sad, but if he really had feelings towards Casca, that is probably for the best for him to die before he sees what happened next :(
Consdering manga this is only a beginning. The studio excliplse is now making the sequel of this
Look for the 2016 series, it's the continuation of where this leaves off
That assault was to show Guts.. that he (Griffith) is superior to him.. and he thinks that like Guts ruined his dream.. so.. he will ruin his dream of having happy life..
You once casca was on his finger tips..(loved Griffith) doing what he says.. but because of Guts she got freedom from him.. he wanna show Guts that she's still in his hands.. And that Guts is still helpless against griffith
Weird way to show that lol
@@DenverSenpai weird but.. expected from Demon Griffith
Even if you watched the original audio, I would suggest to watch the bloopers from the English dub. You can find em on YT (30min+). They are really funny and lift up the mood after episode 25...^^
Yeah, we gonna watch them soon!
I really recommend reading the manga. It's really good and there are a few important things left out from the anime.
You can check out GoldenAge memorial Edition special it has 13 episodes all of them covers only this arc and how guts escaped..
Time to read the entire manga
This episode is as brutal as
The Rains of Castamere in Game of Thrones.
Just watch the entire memorial series or all three movies. It really doesn’t matter which. You’ll get a lot out of either of them now that you are familiar with the events or the ‘97 anime.
Interesting, never heard of that one!
@@DenverSenpaiThe movies and the memorial edition are essentially the same thing without nitpicking the details. The point is that you should definitely watch all of whichever one you choose and not just the last part like some are suggesting. In my opinion, of course.
8:39 fun fact: Gaston in the dub is voiced by Sean Schemmel aka Goku
"So, which one of you is Goku?"
The ending always does that. But there is 2 seasons of continuous story from 2016? I think. It's early computer cgi Anime. It's still fun to watch
Berserk memorial editon. Mangá !!!!
I die a little inside when I see new reactors choosing to watch Berserk in sub. It's good but the dub is def among the best out there.
Now you should read manga from the very beginning XD
It is worth it
Pls watch Golden Age Arc, Memorial edition episode 12. Then you will see how he survived.
Thanks for recommendation!
looking forward to the sequel😊
