around clay you wanna use as much curb as possible especcialy in the chicane cause it helps slingshot you out, also the big curb after the finish line you wanna get the left tires onto that so you can set up the following corner niceley, but thats what i did in a rotax so might be different with club 100 karts, otherwise good job 👍👍 I was also on wets when i learned these tips so that will probably make a difference
Don’t worry about getting on the power. The club 100 karts are very slow revving because they de-tuned so much. Even if you get wheel spin it is still better than being careful on power
To me they feel more solid to drive. The brakes and acceleration feel great and smooth as well as the steering which is consistent and not too stiff or too light. Supposedly they are meant to be much more equal than the average rental karts and this is see by how the marshals and staff actually care about the karts when I was there which as good to see. Overall I found them to be much more enjoyable to drive than any rental karts I was in before. I do agree that sometimes the rental karts have huge parity problems, I entered the Dunkeswell Rental Championship twice, the first time I had the worst kart, it had no straight line pace meaning I was a sitting duck. The second was a lot better, although sadly I got penalised for taking out someone, when I was taken out instead, it was simply due to the aftermath which complicated things. The rentals at Pigeon really fall apart though! They are really old.

What do you think about the karts as are a different kettle of fish to a normal rental kart.

@@OnTheMoveTransport I have never driven rentals at either clay or dunkeswell but I heard a lot of people complaining about the dunkeswell ones
@@Oskar.M The Dunkeswell ones were unused for over a year after Nigel Mansell sold the track, the karts were reused, they are an older Sodi type.
