- Space is unforgiving. Just like this game. You start off with a weak space pod that dies in one hit, but you're hunting for the legendary Golden Warpship. Why? The game doesn't say. Saving the universe or something? Probably was in the instruction manual, but I didn't read it. Oh well.
Sound off in the comments! Have you ever played Solar Jetman - Hunt for the Golden Warpship? How far did you get? Or were you like me and never beat it?

Thanks for watching my video! Have you ever played this game? Apparently, this game is available on Xbox one in a compilation of old Rare developed games called Rare Replay.
The Navigators is the planet map item, same as what you bought in the shop. Pro tip #1-- shops only appear before you land on even-numbered planets. Plan purchases accordingly, you can get better ship pods for 10k and 25k. Pro tip #2-- When you have those small wormholes in the corner, get close with the item then drop the item. Maneuver so the item is between you and the wormhole, then fly at it with shields down. The tractor beam grabs it and it'll be in front for a moment before gravity takes effect, enough time to "push it" into the wormhole and collect the prize.
I got scammed, Digo. I got scammed. lol
Love the space physics. I can't remember the name of the game but my step brother always played an online game with similar physics and I remember it as being the coolest thing ever.
The physics in this game are very well done. Rare made quite a few space type games for the ZX Spectrum before this, so they had some experience, but now with Nintendo power. :D
Funny how it does indeed feel like you’re a scientist trying to figure out gravity in this game! Good playing!
Either a scientist... or garbage collector. 😆
Look at those glorious physics.
@@TheCriticalWranker It's so good 👍.
I used to play this game as a kid too LOL everyone hated it this game but in private i would play this for hours lol same as saloms key lol now i make my own games lol maybe that's why all my games are so strange
Good to hear! Glad I'm not the only one. Most of my friends have never heard of this game. My brother and I bought it on a whim.
If you want to try a newer (2015) game that's kinda like this but controls more like how you said you'd prefer, maybe check out "LOVERS in a Dangerous Spacetime"
