Thanks for watching my video! How far did you get in FF1 without a strategy guide or walkthrough?? Did you ever grind money for the Silver Sword? Sound off in the comments below.
I always went with 2 fighters, a bb and a white mage... and not only did I grind for the 2 swords (the ones sold in the town for what was that again, 4k?) but also, two steel armors in that ruined town before the earth cave. That door that's locked by the Key in this video? Has the perfect money grinding spot,a forced battle tile in front of the middle chest. The White Mage's harm spells make quick work of the enemies there. Use up your magic, go back and stay at the inn, return and keep doing that, you'll get the money (and several levelups!) in no time.
Don't just grind in these early rpgs. Try the dungeon til you have just enough to get back to town. Buy what you need. Then try again. Ony way to play. Make every session count. Don't wait til you can beat a dungeon.
I got through the whole game without a strategy guide in highschool, but with over hundreds of hours of figuring out where I'm supposed to go. Grinding and money stacking took care of itself because of the aimless wandering.
Apparently when I try to do a 3, my thumb holds back my pinkie. My hand cheats, lol. Also, I like organizing my equipment too. Helmet, armor, hand/bracelet. other.

My brother and I took turns. One would play while the other made maps of the world and dungeons.

@@Shokisan1I assure you, the timing was coincidental. 😁
