Curious. Why did you show adding timing at low revs, assumedly low throttle position, and cruise level manifold pressure (40 kPa)? The dyno run starts at 3K and is full throttle.

so ive been looking for a chevy van to build out with an ls/6l90 build, but I stumbled upon a 1947 ford milk truck that is really calling my name. so i asked google if ford made an engine like an LS it said that the bigger and stronger coyote engine is like the ls... 5.0 litter is bigger than 5.3 liters??? wht am i missing here??? now i asked google several different ways as to which is a bigger engine and no matter how i asked it definately seemed like google AI is a ford fanboy because it went on and on and on about how bad ass the coyote engine is over the LS lol

these guys really put stock manifolds on a 500 hp capable motor smh Dum af street cars run headers not stock manifolds that engine will easily gain 30-40 horse just by putting longtubes on it and they have a pair of 3 k cylinder heads afr cnc but skimp on headers lmao.
That LS has Weak torque for the horsepower its putting out...mismatched components

There is a reason why the LS is shown so much . Relatively inexpensive,yet reliable,easy of repair , easy to fit in vehicles and pretty good power density considering it's a pushrod design .
