Thank you for showing the scan and cut. I have heard of it but have never seen it. I love it! I have a hard time fussy cutting with my arthritis and that scan and cut would help me a lot. Thanks for sharing.
I had looked at this before and thought I'd refresh myself. Thanks. A couple of years ago I was given a sticker book with all sorts of things I would never use. After watching your video I decided to stick a collection of very small things on a white card stock. Rather than cutting the little pieces which I never thought I would use I embossed the whole piece and I was thrilled with the effect as a background!
This is genius. I just spent 2 hours going thru all of the planner stickers that I have never used and making card embellishments from them. Not only did I salvage the stickers but I used all scrap pieces of white card stock to adhere them to. Win-win. No waste. Thank you!!
Thank you for this video, I have heaps of stickers that I have bought over many years and I have not used them because they made my cards look cheap. So I will be doing this in the future. Thanks again. Regards Rita.
I love this idea! I’ve been doing this for a while, I like to use the metallic, foil or glitter cardstocks to do with this to add a bit of shine to the stickers
Thank you, thank you, thank you for this tip. This is going to help me do the same thing with all my stickers that I bought just because they were cute and all of my scraps. Thank you so much. Happy Crafting from Phoenix, Arizona. ❤️🤗
You solved one problem but created another. Now you have more little loose bits all over the craft room. Storing little things like that is a pain. If I can't see it I forget I have it. I have a ton of Christmas stickers some are clear with a sentiment I plan just to stick it to the inside of my card. I have jewel ones plan to make a background stick the Merry Christmas jewels right over top.
I thought about this too, Babs. I think I will stick mine on 4 x 6 cards (or another consistent size), with similar stickers on each card. All pastel flowers, sentiments, butterflies, vintage images, etc., for example. It would be much easier to shuffle through a stack of cards than 1000 little ephemera. 😊
I've used this technique for years now Sam. Not using stickers, but pictures from magazines and such. Little quirky pictures, cartoons, or flowers, pictures of parcels or cute animals, fancy cups, teapots....you name it I've cut them out and used as embelushments. I'm a bit addicted to fussy cutting 🤣 I find it very relaxing. I know its not everyones 'cup of tea'. Thats where a device like the Scan and Cut, comes into its own. I must admit, the scan and cut devices out there now, are amazing. I'm sure this will be a very handy tip for lots of new crafters watching. Its a great way of using up all those stickers some crafters collect. I don't have any myself, but now wishing i did. 🤔 😆 A lovely and very handy little tutorial. Thanks Sam. Xxx
Ink stained fingertips are the sign of a great crafter. So never worry about that. Thank you so much for the ideas about stickers made into ephemera . I would always shy away from stickers in the past, maybe not so much now. Love this tutorial. Great ideas.
Great tips Sam. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. Impressed how quick the Scan n Cut cut them all out ! That’s next on my shopping list. Maybe one day you could do a tutorial for the Scan n Cut as you explain things so easily 💕
Thanxxx Sam, I avoid stickers on cards because they are so flimsy and look cheap, but this is great, may have to get my 1000's of stickers out now and give this a go.....
Thanks for this idea. Putting stickers on card stock makes them stand out more and they look so much better than just plopping them down on a card front. I never thought about running it through the ScanNCut.
This is a great idea! Ephemera is so much easier to store too. This will all fit in a small container for my scrap room. These small bits are easier to take to a crop too. Thank you!
Never seen the Brother cutting machine. Recently ruptured tendons and nerve damage has hindered my abilities to make cards severely. That was fast. It took me 24 totaled time just to make 3 cards. That machine is awesome.
I spend time in the evening putting stickers on cardstock and then store them in a folder. Then I can flip through to find what I want to use at the time. Thanks for the idea on putting them onto coloured card.Such a simple idea and one I had never thought of.I have just subsribed.
What a brilliant idea, I think I can count on one hand how many times I have used my scan and cut. Feel a stamping session going on and maybe even getting some printable stickers and use cricut to cut and then make then into embellishments
I always seem to put all my stickers to white card never colour I don’t know why . but it’s something I will now look into . How can I use these in card making, thanks another great tutorial xx
This is a great idea! I find when you using my Cricut & cutting intricate snowflakes - I use a brand new green mat & make sure my blade is new or at least clean it with a ball of tin foil first. I get a perfect image every time & I save that mat for intricate designs only! Love your videos - you are genius!
HI Sam.these are great ideas I do this all the time. I sit and attach heaps of stickers to card as you have done and then I place them in a travel folder I have . So if I am travelling anywhere with my husband, he drives ( good man) and I fussy cut....makes a boring journey quite exciting. I find fussy cutting quite relaxing.
This video is inspirational as always, Sam. Thank you. Please can I request that you show what can be done with a large stock of peel off stickers, particularly the picture ones. I have a huge folder full of part used sticker sheets and it would be good to find new ways to use them up.
This is a brilliant way of using the stickers as where I live the nearest craft store/shop is an hour away but have a local shop that sells the sticker's. Thank's for sharing this with us Sam x
Brilliant, why have I never thought of this?! I have soooooo many stickers and I’m constantly using my anti-static pouch to remove the sticky and it’s a mess.
Brilliant! I have an entire drawer full just sitting, so here's my next project. Thank you! I love my cricut. My cameo 4 is registered and out of the box but I just can't seem to get myself motivated to learn to use it with my business edition. Lol. I have been resticking my mats for years I follow Kelly Barlow creations tutorial.
Thank you so, so, so much!!! I've had my Scan 'N Cut still in the box as I have totally overwhelmed to even try to use it. Now I see its not as much work as I thought. Thank you!!!
Thank you for showing the scan and cut. I have heard of it but have never seen it. I love it! I have a hard time fussy cutting with my arthritis and that scan and cut would help me a lot. Thanks for sharing.
What a wonderful idea for using up stickers.

I've just done the same. I have so much white cardstock offcuts that are perfect for this.
What a great idea!! I need to go through mine and use them. Thanks again Sam
Thank you for this video, I have heaps of stickers that I have bought over many years and I have not used them because they made my cards look cheap. So I will be doing this in the future. Thanks again. Regards Rita.
I'm glad you said that. I thought I was the only one that didn't like how most stickers look on my cards. I like this idea, they look much better.
I love this idea! I’ve been doing this for a while, I like to use the metallic, foil or glitter cardstocks to do with this to add a bit of shine to the stickers
I realize this was years ago… but what a great idea! Thank you for this!!

I do the same with my cricut, cutting shapes after measuring the sticker. I found after having a cricut, I've become lazy and hate using scissors lol.
New lease of life for stickers! Fantastic idea! Thank you. X
Great idea. Tfs hugs
