The new BCM Mk2 takes an evolutionary step forward with the AR15/M16A4 type upper. It does this by making a number of modifications to the older design to increase strength, improve ambi use, improve accuracy potential and to reduce gas flow to the shooters face. We take a first look at this new upper from Bravo Company.

I’m glad they moved the forward assist forward. That should assist anyone assisting the bolt forward with the forward assist.
i think i just had an aneurysm
Hey Tim, your bi-pod is backwa...oh.
Dang, that thing looks awesome. I really love that these companies are coming out with forged receivers with extra features. Aero did a great job with their M4E1 receiver sets and now BCM has this. great stuff, and it doesn't break the bank.
Nice upper, and hats off to BCM for creating some innovation on this platform, but it solves no problems I've experienced. Still, I like seeing them explore the rifle to find even minute areas to improve.
BCM receivers are designed to be a bit smaller where the barrel goes in to aid in accuracy I have a older one I had to heat up to install the barrel...... a few manufactures do this
Same. I had quite a tough time getting my barrel to fit
The new JP upper requires it to be heated for the barrel to fit also. It seems like a smart idea. When the receiver cools it really clamps down tight onto the barrel. If JP is doing it I have no doubt it adds in accuracy.
Solution looking for a problem? Didnt DPMS try a different Upper for AR10s that was just a way to get a proprietary setup and require people to purchase their stuff.
Different upper and lower.
Never will I ever buy another pos dpms rifle.
@@jhosk neither will anyone else unless it's used.
@@jhosk DPMS is no longer. Folded their brand fairly recently
This isn't proprietary.
I first saw this upper on Vickers Tactical. Problem is finding them now, even there standard upper receiver is out of stock everywhere. As far as heating up the receiver to fit the barrel I used a different method on a Aero Precision M4E1 inhanced upper. I didn't have a torch at the time and every one I asked told me to thermo fit the barrel. What I decided to do was out the barrel in my deep freeze for 24 hours and voila, it slid in with a perfect fit. Now to get it out I will have to heat up the upper. By the way the camera work and video quality are excellent.
I like the idea, the upper on an AR is about the only thing that has not seen much development since the '70s. Still not sure if I would buy one though
How in the hell did you comment a week ago? LMAO
@ I think MAC releases videos early for Patreon members.
@ Welcome to UA-cam. It's called Patreon.
General Robert E Lee like they said. I watched this video a week ago through Patreon early access
Do M4 ramp cuts and flat top uppers count as "development"?
I have actually come to the conclusion that if you aren't careful with how you load your bipod with an AR, you will flex the upper receiver at about where these beefed up areas are, which will deflect the barrel from it's normal point of aim. You can illustrate the point if you attach a laser to the barrel, coalign it with your scope at 100 yards, then apply different pressures to your bipod while looking through your scope. You'll plainly see the laser move.
Battlefield Vegas says that they have AR upper receivers which have over 200,000 rounds through them, are fine and have not cracked or failed in any way. The BCM upper receiver seems like a solution to what clearly isn't a problem.
IKR
The upper increases rigidity which improves bolt life.
Hayden Gorps explain
@@MitchellCH less flex in the upper receiver prevents deflection of the bolt while it is in the barrel extension, which reduces wear on the bolt because pressure is more evenly distributed.
@@gorps Not an issue on "DI" guns.
Wow that new upper is awesome! Can't wait until they come out with an improved lower like maybe something ambidextrous!
If I recall correctly Larry Vickers had a video with BCM talking about this upper. They said the new design added NO weight. They simply moved material around.
Part of me likes the innovation and advancement, but the other part of me sees this as unnecessary, costly and a way to sell more rifles. It's probably both.
I would agree,
But I dont think they are going to have a problem selling anything for now lol
if a company doesnt innovate,
They get left in the dust by companies who do.
@@prone_wolf8871 The way to innovate right now is to go lighter while maintaining strength while getting rid of superfluous parts like the forward assist. You could also make them more ambidextrous friendly while trying to keep the weight down. Basically do what Ian, Karl, and Brownells are doing with the WWSD 2020 rifle.
@@prone_wolf8871 this was introduced before the panic buying craze
mozzberg 99% of new parts for the AR market are unnecessary. Basically all AR 15s on the market today, even the cheapest of the bunch, are rugged and accurate enough for combat.
For people who shoot suppressed it's an advantage. And it offers more protection from Kabooms (overpressured rounds) and more rigidity for better accuracy, all at the same weight as normal mil spec. So for some people it's not "unnecessary"
This is what BCM says about their standard upper:
Built to the correct Mil-Specs
(Inside Diameter for barrel extension slightly undersized for a tighter fit to the barrel and a more accurate rifle. Please use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm up threaded bore of receiver if barrel extension is too tight.)
Just ordered a Mk2 complete upper from them. I normally build my own. But I'd say they would be a company I would trust to put everything together right.
Any issues with it getting hot or mag dumps? BFH's are out of stock looking at gettting the MK2
@@connersantos7152 not one issue. I've ran the crap out of it too 👍👍😬
Standard BCM M4 uppers have a very tight barrel fit
I know a lot of people hate on the forward assist. I have an AR that I have put 2200 rounds through without cleaning. It is running like a champ. Due to all of the carbon build up (it is filthy), the bolt will sometimes not full seat into battery if dropped on a full mag from the bolt stop.
I imagine that in dry, abusive environments (when random cleaning is not always possible), the forward assist may still have some application.
That, and the forward assist doesn’t both me.
I dont see the removal of the forward assist as a benefit either.
Or just run the handle?
Exactly! Im shocked that so many people get rid of the fwd assist. Being able to PUSH on the bcg without relying on the spring is a huge advantage. It's basic mechanical engineering. And it's not like it's reducing the reliability or precision. It actually INCREASES the reliability because it gives another way of clearing binds.
@@hedgeearthridge6807 it clears no binds, it binds them harder.
Patrick Earthridge right? It also allows for a person to press check, and avoid running the charging handle which causes the shooter to break a cheek weld.
Tim, I just noticed you went over 1M subs. Congrats, and keep the _great_ content coming! Your's is one of my favorite channels on UA-cam, along with Mrgunsngear, Garand Thumb, and (of course) Paul Harrell!
I have one. I had been planning to get a BCM upper for a while, but when I found out these were available (via the Vickers Tactical channel announcement), I immediately bought a MK2 URG (a Recce-14 with an ELW profile barrel and MCMR handguard). I feel that the comparisons to the Vltor MUR in the comments below are unfair - the MUR is both much heavier and far more expensive than this upper. I admit the MK2 is a bit of a gimmick, but it's still a neat one - provided you're not trying to stick anyone else's rail (e.g., Geissele or DD) on it, which is a definite bummer. Side note: While BCM advertises it as $20 more than a USGI upper, the price difference between URGs is actually lower (or at least, it was last December) - when I bought my URG, it started at $685 (minus BCG, muzzle device, and charging handle). The same URG with the USGI upper was $674. For only an $11 price difference, it seemed like a steal.
Maybe moving that material to where they did would make a difference for a GI banging the thing around all day, day after day. Or maybe they just moved the weak points, it'll be hard to know without it being issued. I love BCM as much as the next guy but this upper is not for me. As Tim mentioned I'm one of those that think the forward assist is pointless so I'll stick with my slick side Aero uppers.
Looks like an answer to a non existent problem.
Maybe some people collect uppers. I don't know.
@@nemisous83 I've actually had a squib in an AR that cracked my barrel etc. The extra pressure vented out of the magwell and blew out the mag. The BCM upper would have made no difference.
dtroy15 looking for this comment. I’ve seen this when I was in the army. Mag well dumped all three times and no appreciable injuries except for one guy who lost the top of his ear beside him. (May have been surgically fixed so it wasn’t noticeable but I don’t know, never saw him again.)
@@Paul-qh8ed hey. Now that is a good idea.
One that linits your forend choices to BCM products.
All BCM uppers need heat to insert the barrel been using their uppers for years it's always been a feature that I liked and have recommended to people when they are making parts selection for builds
Some of my barrels from ballistic advantage I ordered would need a bit of a heat fit into some of my standard uppers
I’m about two minutes in but I’m looking at the “improvements” and thinking: I can’t say I’ve ever had an issue with my current upper, and I just see added weight.
They didn't add weight, they moved material around. The owner of bcm did a video explaining this.
@Otium Borealis True; and if you're a trying to get the absolute most performance out of something, even 1% is pretty significant. Just ask any professional athlete.
As a left handed shooter, moving the forward assist forward gets me better access to the charging handle on the right side of the rifle.
@@phillipdoubleu5474 Well, bless your heart, Lefty.
Phillip Double U never thought of that. I’m a big slab side fan but also use my rifle left as well as right, about 40:60 because I’m left handed and right eye dominant. I always end up switching out for a wide ear charging handle so don’t really worry about the forward assist on guns I have it on.
......VLTOR enhanced upper. This was allready done years ago.
But now a "real" manufacturer is doing it, so it's good. Lol
Exactly. Look at what POF has been doing to advance the AR-15 design. BCM finally gives us... a new upper receiver..? No thanks.
Aero has one in 556 and 762
I used the MUR for my mk12 mod1 build, love it
Radian model1 has the exact same setup. With the lower being right side bolt release. Downside is $2500
As a left handed shooter, moving the forward assist forward gets me better access to the charging handle on the right side of the rifle. I would like try one of these uppers in a build.
I’m a southpaw as well and I’ve got one. They are fantastic! I’ve nearly completely ripped my fingernail off before because of forward assists. But I also use forward controls designs forward assists now to help because they have no lip to snag. The bcm mk2 is a Super nice upper though.
There IS a correct way to mount an ATLAS bipod.
If you look at the marks on the bipod, the ATLAS engraving should face away from the muzzle.
So the arrow should be visible to the shooter and point to the right from the shooters perspective.
When are you gonna check out the Wolfman from deadair? It’s like a longer, modular omega 9k that uses optional drain washers for wipes!
hey unless you've got a hard-on for ambidextrous one of the most reliable and lightweight uppers i have is an old slick side sp1 upper with no FA or brass bouncer. Just replace the carry handle with modern rails and I'd buy that.
I like how he says the A2 was an improvement, when in many ways it was a huge downgrade from previous versions.
So they moved the forward assist so someone using the right side of the charging handle doesn't catch their finger, but then they don't put an ambi CH. cmon man
TheDragonDelasangre yeah I was thinking the same thing like wtf
And they shrunk the The defector so they are consciously hating left hand shooters
TheDragonDelasangre it’s an option you can get it with or without an ambi charging handle you choose when you’re buying it
Finally the answer to my problem. I was going through 50 receivers a year because they were exploding for no reason. This will definitely help. The extra material on the cam pin slot area will help with the exploding unlocking.
Something new for bcm, but dpms started the relocation of the forward assist closer to the deflector. I always liked that idea.
I just wish somebody made a forged slickside flat top upper. Forward assist is pointless, the BCG has a scoop in it the perfect size for you thumb that works just as well and I'm right handed so I don't need a deflector, even If I was lefty my rifles all eject between 3 o'clock and 4:30 anyways...
And a slickside just looks better to me. I'll never understand why these aren't made. Only option is to buy a milspec forged 9mm upper and drill for a gas tube.
@@toki89666 look into dpms slick side.
@@azntactical4884 thanks but I was meaning a normal forged milspec upper, just no FA or deflector. The one you link has no dust cover or a place to put one.

@@Militaryarmschannel Q Fix
@@Militaryarmschannel I would like to see a review on if the MK2 upper really helps mitigate the gas to your face when running it suppressed.
@@JohnSmith-hl4js This is why I came here as well. Doesn't even address it, its an afterthought in editing.
The FA is not there to force a round into the chamber: sand or mud inside the receiver can win the force of the recoil spring not allowing the BCG to go back into battery.. if the BCG get stuck in a position similar to a last round BHO what can you do in the field? that’s where the FA comes handy.
Guns without reciprocating CH requires a sort of FA device to fix some jams (since the CH can only move the BCG rearward).
All guns with a reciprocating CH have a FA built into the CH itself and I don’t read complains about them 🤔
I just got one. Havent had a chance to assemble yet. Gambled on spending extra $20(how will I survive?) to see if the slots actually help with gas when running a can.
Very interesting about the BCM MK2 AR-15 Upper receiver. Thanks for showing it , Tim !!!!!!!!!! MAC for Life !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hah....nice to see another set-up with the gas block in front of the handguard. I have a 19" competition barrel on one of my build and have set up the adjustable gas block exposed like that.....makes it easier to adjust (shut off) gas when I want to shoot single-shot only for best accuracy....then open it back up to shoot semi-auto.
Don't heat the receiver, freeze the barrel. If that doesn't work do both but usually freezing does the trick.
my BCM upper I put the barrel in the freezer and the receiver in toaster oven at 100f to get them together, not sure what i would have to do to ever get them apart.
Nice improvement. even the current one doesnt have any problem for 50 years
Your comment about the new upper & barrel being a tight fit - my response is: that's nothing new. My old BCM upper & BCM barrel are a tight fit. When I pulled & pushed them (upper & barrel), I had to use extreme force. My opinion Is that BCM just makes firearms and parts with high quality control.
The MK2 will NOT work with an LMT MARS-L lower, super bummed about this, but I'm glad I did research before buying a MARS-L
What alum alloy/temper was that??? Btw, please don’t use uncontrolled heat to fit the barrel...your temper will thank you.
"It's 7075 T6... T5... T4... T3..." Scary thinking of people heating to fit without watching the temp with a thermometer.
On the right side of the MK2 upper in the rear near the charging handle is a small hole. That is to let gas out. If you can, can you test it with a suppressor to see if it works?
Hi MAC, I just ordered the BCM RECCE-16 MCMR RIFLE from Copper Custom! I'm excited to get it and then have to figure out if I want to make any changes or upgrades. Any thoughts or suggestions by MAC or the community would be appreciated. Thanks!
I don’t personally get the hate for Forward assists. My LaRue Upper Kit doesn’t have it and when running Lancer 10rnd mags fully loaded it doesn’t have enough force to fully strip the first two rounds from the feed lips. A forward assist would of definitely been handy there. I just use PMAGS now and have no issues. I won’t buy one without a FA personally.
Seems to me that those were garbage magazines. It would be unacceptable for any other rifle to require a force close on the first rounds, but apparently the AR is the only rifle that gets excused.
@@ChucksSEADnDEAD My AKM does that sometimes. I just push on the charging handle. Hell, it will even BIND ON THE FUCKING HAMMER if you even slightly ride the bolt forward. But that's typical for AKMs. ARs are the only ones? Nigga, seriously
@@hedgeearthridge6807 My dude I'm not talking about hammer binding issues. Name a rifle that consistently has issues feeding the top two rounds out of a magazine that has military/commercial success. Well, apparently many AR users have that problem (seen two different comments on this video alone) but because there's a forward assist it's fine.
A rifle having a MRBF of 5 (two malfunctions per ten round magazines) is fucking appalling. It's inexcusable. But on an AR, it's fine because there's the FA. If an AK had that problem everyone would consider it garbage (even if the FA function can be performed by pushing the charging handle).
@@ChucksSEADnDEAD Your AR is the only one I've ever heard of having that issue. Are you riding the charging handle? Is the gun even lubricated?
Here, try this: To load a new mag, lock the bolt to the rear (make sure you lock the charging handle forward), load the mag, then hit the bolt release. If that doesn't do it, it's not the rifle, it's the mags.
@@immikeurnot I'm talking about everyone else's AR, the ones who actually said they had problems.
LOVE the down range footage
Did you get it with the A5 buffer system? I thought that was a great upgrade on my BCM.
Only important thing is weight. The original is just fine. Now if it's stronger and lighter YES!
I just bought this complete mk2 upper receiver from BCM in 5.56 but are they discontinuing it for a remade version that fits more rail systems?
You need to look at the new stuff from V Seven Weapons... Their 2055 Lithium Aluminum receivers are the lightest and strongest in the industry. Owned by Noveske’s ex-head shop boss, they are making 4 lbs 16” rifles with sub moa accuracy and 5 lb AR-10s.
7:49. Don't need that. Being left handed, I have to be really super lazy for that to happen, which never did.
I feel like this is an answer to a problem that doesnt exist.
Some of the features are, maybe, but moving the Forward assist is a fantastic quality of life improvement, and in my experience, there is noticeably less gas blowback. Extra strength and rigidity never hurt, so even if they are addressing a nonexistent problem, it certainly doesn't hurt.
Thankfully people like you don’t call the shots, otherwise we would still be fielding the A1.
Thankfully people like you don’t call the shots, otherwise we would still be fielding the A1.
@Phillip Cameron carry handle gang
Lmao.
Ok boomer
I put together a very similar rifle. Mine uses an MCMR rail but its an 18" 410 SS barrel in a Mk12 contour with a SAMR chamber.. is that what you're running here?
Improved...I don't see non-reciprocating left side charging handle 🧐
you didn't? The one he referenced multiple times? The one that's on every single milspec AR?
That Ares BTR is nice! I ended up with an Argos BTR for my 224 valkyrie build.
I wish BCM would put some R&D into making a proprietary gas system and BCG. Something along the lines of the SR15 and LMT rifles. They already have a good reputation, and if they could continue moving the platform forward I think they could move their name up a tier or two.
I think adding heat to the upper reciever is a terrible idea. It is too easy to wreck the heat treatment. I would ice the barrel if I encountered one of these. (You can also turn air duster upside down)
I was wondering if you could revisit this topic, and maybe show field stripping the BCM MK 2 upper to show its features from the inside, if UA-cam would allow it. that is one of my favorite features about your channel is the field strip comparison compared to standard
With the MK2 being out a few months now, have you heard of any issues with the upper? It getting hotter, rapid firing or anything else? Comparing it to orginal BFH upper and it seems only the MK2 is in stock. Thanks,
Does anyone know where these are available for purchase ? They seem to be sold out everywhere. Thanks.
I don't think they are even offered anymore...
Isn't the fwd assist an after-thought design addition when the military wanted a way to quietly send the round into chamber after SLOWLY releasing the bcg so as to stay "stealthy" instead of clacking it home? It wasn't meant to be used to FORCE a non-chambering round.....like u stated, just eject a non-chambering round.
Nah, the military had tested the AR and found that there was no reason to add a forward assist, but generals thought that it would be better to have something to press the bolt into battery because you could do that in the Garand and M14. That was literally it. Just feelings.
No. McNamara fucked up the 5.56 ammo with super dirty powder, and the BCGs would get stuck from the fouling. Without a reciprocating charging handle, there was no way to push the bcg forward. You have to pop open BOTH takedown pins and take it apart, just to clear the jam if pulling on the charging handle isnt working.
Regardless, it's just a good thing to have. It's not making anything worse.
@@hedgeearthridge6807 The forward assist predates that debacle.
It was a poor idea from Army Ordnance Board on how to screw up their mishandling of the AR15 project in general.
The Colt 601 rifles worked fine, only needing a few improvements, namely the V shaped charge handle, the cast FSB, non-chrome-lined chamber/barrel, and removable pivot pin.
The Army allowed a ball propellant to be substituted without testing it in the later batches of ammo, which rose the port pressure over 10,000psi.
They also issued the rifles without cleaning kits. For the 2nd production series, the Colt 602, they allowed tens of thousands of rifles to be mass-produced without controlling chamber dimensions as well as the Colt 601, so you ended up with corroded chambers being fed improper ammo that tried to unlock the bolt and extract too early.
How a forward assist helps with that is a mad man's guess.
The real fixes were everything else introduced with the M16A1/Colt 603. Those run like raped apes if you lube them and feed them M193 from good mags.
BCM: Here's an improved AR upper receiver.
Internet: That's awesome! Finally, an interesting and innovative design upgrade for the AR family of rifles. Wait! Is that a forward assist? Reeeeee!

ReflectiveBelts awesome, thanks!
In Your opinion, is it as good as the Vltor
Is that gas tube exposed. I remember another company did that and they got reamed for it back in 2010.
I think the customer chose the rail
The rail is the venerable Knight's Armament Free Float Rail System as used on the respected MK12 Mod 1. It is true that all of the newer rail systems bring the front of their rails in alignment with the back of the gas block now but back in '01-'03 the options were limited for these.
I love my Athlon Ares scopes. I bought 3 when Midway had them on sale. Cant be beat at that price.
Shouldn’t the gas block be protected? Seems a bit vulnerable the way it’s set up.
Good video Tim. These manufactures are running out of ideas LOL. Why are any of these "upgrades" needed? Who has actually seen an AR receiver fail?

Beardoggin89 I understand some people think they want it but it would be a whole ass ton better without it and it’s really hard to find in stock options of uppers without it lol. The FA isn’t even part of the original AR 15 it’s something a desk jockey in the top demanded to justify their job.
Some Guy exactly. The forward assist kind of like Johnny Cash said about the cap and ball Colt “It can get you into trouble but it can’t get you out”. I’ve seen more malfunctions made worse than remedied with it
Beardoggin89 I can agree about the colt as my 1851 navy in 44cal has been loaded very hot under my pillow for nearly a decade lol. But really the AR 15 if put together correctly is super reliable and I have never had to use my FA lol. I ran over 5k Tula rounds through my 2016 Del Ton without cleaning it and after it wiped clean. You really have to screw up to need to clear a AR 15.
Have my MK2 11.5 arriving this week!
Any issues with it getting hot or issues with mag dumps?
Maybe I missed it, but what brand/make is that barrel?
Wow... A "quad rail." I haven't seen one of those since the early 2000s. I remember those sharp, bulky, rails that snagged on everything. I guess with the rail covers it bulks it up to fit your paws.
Crank that nut down.
BCM sells uppers with M-LOK or KeyMod as well. Some people still like quad rails though for some reason so they are still an option.
Quad rails are still the strongest rails. They are timeless. Plus they tend to scare the progressive left more so that's a bonus.
@@elitetrader5468 I dunno about strongest, but they're sure the heaviest and bulkiest, and all but require you wear gloves or run covers. But hey, it worked fine 20 years ago, so it must still be awesome today.
Only had one "slick" free float fail me (and I bang 'em around) and that was a Hogue tube that jumped its threads when I landed on the rifle. Tube itself was fine, just ended up kind of cross-threaded.
@@immikeurnot you must not run nods if you don’t understand the usefulness of quad rails.
I'll stick with my BCM BFH upper with QRF-9 hand gaurd but this seems cool
What barrel and handrail size are you running ?
*Greetings, Tim.*
*Writing in hope of starting a movement to get as many gun channels on board to call for a national teach-a-new-gun-owner-about-their-firearm day.*
*I know this is already being done informally by existing gun owners all across the country and gun channels are stepping up with videos teaching basic gun safety and handling for new owners. However, I'd like to elevate it to a movement, a trend, a phenomenon that formally declares out solidarity as gun owners; both old and new.*
*I'm choosing May 1st, 2020 for the following reasons:*
*1) It takes time to build momentum. People frequently need constant re-exposure before something sticks in their conscious mind.*
*2) It takes time to plan a get together. People need sufficient advance notice to coordinate schedules, choose a place, etc.*
*3) It assumes shelter-in-place orders in some states and municipalities will continue for a couple more weeks. By May 1st, though, we should see a thaw with more freedom to move about in public for those communities affected. Also those state and municipalities attempting to justify shutting down shooting ranges will have a tougher and tougher time doing so as we move into May.*
*4) Nicer weather. Spring officially began March 19th. However, Mother Nature doesn't always abide by our calendar. Some areas of the country it may still be cold, overcast, and raining. May 1st, by contrast, should see nicer weather nationwide. A good time to get out of the house to enjoy some shooting practice with a family member, friend, or neighbor after being cooped up for so long.*
*5) It takes back a co-opted date from the Socialists and Communists. May 1st or May Day used to be an ancient Spring festival celebrated in the Northern Hemisphere which eventually became a public holiday. The Socialists and Communists co-opted it in the late 19th century, changing it into International Workers' Day. I say we take it back by turning it into a celebration of freedom. Spring is often associated with birth/re-birth. What better time to celebrate the birth of millions of new gun owners and welcome them to the fold?*
*6) It short circuits the novelty effect. By May 1st new gun owners may begin to question their purchase, believing they acted in haste during a time of panic. They may be considering selling their newly acquired firearm on the used market. By offering to take them to the range and teach them about their firearm just as the novelty was wearing off, it may be just enough to convince the new gun owner to keep their firearm, instead.*
*May 1st this year falls on a Friday. Many people may be back to work by then. However, what better time to celebrate both our 2nd Amendment right as well as celebrate the end of a work week by going down to the range to fire off a few? Perhaps it rolls over into the weekend. Nothing wrong with that either. Gives the new gun owner time to digest the lessons they've learned and ask questions without the distraction of a work day during the week.*
*Can even use it as a marketing campaign; t-shirts, caps, mugs, etc. I'm sure someone more clever than I at salesmanship will wordsmith a catchy slogan or design a cool logo to promote the day. By choosing May 1st, it also gives the gestalt of all the people getting on board the time needed to brainstorm some impactful marketing.*
*Ideally I'd like to see the internet gun channels promote this every day or with every video. If that's too great an ask, then commit to making mention of it as a public service announcement at least once a week on the run up to May 1st. So whaddya say? Gun owners of America unite! Let's swell our ranks, celebrate our freedom, and promote safety, comradery, and community.*
*Best regards,*

God damn dude, write a fucking book why dont you.
@@donalddickins8493 At least it looks like you read it. Message delivered. Thank you :)
Good fucking luck getting a stripped upper. they did the initial batch and then the product page disappeared from BCM's website. Was extremely hyped over this to finish out my 11.5 build that was going to have a silencer riding on it.
Can we universally agree to just get rid of the fwd assist?
No, I like mine.
@@asherdie "If you like your forward assist you can keep it" - Obama
@@ChucksSEADnDEAD nope, not falling for that again, still waiting on my damn phone.
(Just kidding, that Kenyan was never my president)
Notice any fit and finish differences between their standard milspec uppers? Better tolerences? Worse?
Tim I love it for sure seems very solid hats off to you bringing it to us all
