  • Ride along with Dave and Karl Fish in the Bass World tourney at Lake of the Ozarks we are struggle to feel the bass bite the bait.If you fish enough you will eventually have one of these days..Lake of the Ozarks is in the 40's way up the river and 49 to 51 degrees where we are fishing..The Calander says jerk jerk pause but until she cools off there are fish way up shallow..I even saw one in inches of water the day before..good one.4 plus pounder.. To be competitive you gotta get a couple good ones in the mix so the hunt is on... Enjoy Music license from Artlist

Agree with you on the braid noise, however, fluro does a similar thing. Since you use Berkley Big Game like me, try soaking it in dishwashing liquid. Helps reduce guide rubbing a lot, especially once it's wet. Also helps line cut through surface film of water quickly.
    Enjoying your vids 👍

I fish all the same waters and even some of the same tournaments. Just wanted to tell you how much I look forward for your videos to come out.

I throw 20 pound fluorocarbon. I have thrown that for the last two years and feel that it makes a difference over braid.

I throw 20 pound seguar fluorocarbon. I’m not an a rig expert but I’ve found it to help keep the rig down in the column and never had an issue with breaking line.

I've tried all three the mono at 100 yards streaches 17 ft, the floro is a little better but i put up with the noise and throw 40lb braid..great video by the way..

Dave, I throw it on 20# Invizx . I’ve never broke off either. I’ll bend a hook straight or break a hook before I snap the line. Of course you can’t just jerk on it, you have to just pull slow. Ask Marcus, I fished the back of his boat during a 2017 BFL. I put 18+ lbs in the live well. He asked me why I used it. 1. If you get a backlash, he’ll of lot easier to get out than braid. 2. The fish can’t see it, prior to the A-rig passing over them.

I throw 20pd sunline sniper fluorocarbon and have no problems and definitely seen an increase in bites over throwing braid

Yeah it's a tough decision on the line for the a rig. I've been using 30 lb braid on a swivel since it (a rig) came out. But I could definitely see what you're talking about with the sound under the water🤔

Try this braid, it keeps its color and makes very little noise. Sunline Xplasma Asegai Green in 50 lb.

Dave, 20 pound fluorocarbon use a larger reel and a heavy swimbait rod!

Let’s just give it all away…. You really need to watch your line I can see it jump way before you even realize you have a bite or get some decent line

Does it not make anyone else cringe to see a left handed fisherman set the hook backwards lol. He’s setting the hook like a right handed guy would. Why wouldn’t you set the hook across your body instead of having to make a lot of extra rotation in your back and hips.
