I love Shimano but I did have a Shimano rod snap boat flipping a 2 pounder. ST CROIX RODS. I use now mainly. I still use Shimano rods quess I bought a defective one.
I've had some complaints about the reels needing oil...but in fact they have been oiled.... used hard and have endured 10 to 15 years of tourney use(year round use)...all good now... Thank you Shimano !!!!...Trokar Magworm 5/0.. is my choice for hook...Thanks for watching
When the water temp is 77 degrees or higher you need to cool the water and treat it for chlorine that is in the ice...The G-juice in the blue bottle is important too...The fish live on the thermocline...thats where the temp changes down in the water...around 4 foot mark in the stained areas..so I make the water temp cooler like down on that line...Great question...Thanks for watching
No but I learned with a left handed reel...even my fly rods had left handed reels so I never change hands like most guys...works nicely...Thanks for watching
