La girl gel pencil luners, ive heard they stay in the waterline really well for people who usually have that problem.. please do an in depth video on morphe shadows & brushes!! Please!!! Narina Manukyan For the price I would totally recommend. I live just a city over from their shop and I don't know how many times I drove past their shop wondering what it was and it wasn't until Jaclyn's video that I learned they sold makeup and brushes. I recently bought A LOT of shadows from them and I am in love. Their metallic/shimmery shades are beautiful, those are my favorite ones. They have great pigmentation and blend really well. Some of their matte colors can be a little "dry" if that makes sense. You have to use a little more to get the right color but once you do you'll love the look. All in all I would definitely recommend, I honestly don't think you'll regret it
I can say morphe eyeshadow aren't the BEST obviously because of the price the quality won't be high end. However I ordered many colors and they have worked well for me. The mattes blend nicely. The shimmers are smooth. I wouldn't rely on them for shadows i want to use all the time but I could if I was on a budget. I got more fun colors that I wouldn't try otherwise and have actually found many ways to work in some crazy bright colors without it being so obvious. For $2 you really can't beat them but shipping is a bit much. I love the shadow brushes I got from morphe and I got ones on sale, all less than $3 or $2. However if you want more quality and shades you're going to use all the time I'd invest in makeup geek. They're amazing and I'll have about 30 something shades when my new order arrives (I love them). I do prefer the shadow brushes I got from morphe better than the ones from MUG
Also if you order morphe shadows, I liked the duochrome ones. One is super cool. The pan looks green but on my hand and eye it's mostly brown with green depending on the direction the light hits. I'd recommend, like I said, getting shades you wouldn't normally get because of the price and the duochrome ones (they aren't as intense as high end duochromes but the subtleness makes them wearable even for work whereas MAC blue brown pigment is a little too intense for my job

I know she has an eyebrow video and at least two contour/blush/highlight videos. The contour ones are very informative. Haven't seen the brow one since my own brows are naturally dark and thick so all I need on mine is a clear brow gel.

I have found two wonderful eye liners that stay well in my waterline. I have a lot of allergies and watery eyes so to find one is always exciting! One of them is by stila, it is waterproof smudge stick eye liner, I have the color sepia (love this color!) and black; the other is by loreal paris, silkissime eyeliner, I have them in silver, gold, and bronze. All three colors stay really well and are pigmented. Love both products!
The Loreal Silkisseme liner in gold and the nyx slide on liner in glitzy gold both work really well. Nyx also has one in a copper/bronze shade that looks amazing on the water line.

What is it with MAC products?? Almost every other thing i buy from them looks TOTALLY different when i try them. If i see someone here on UA-cam showing their favorite MAC lipsticks and see a gorgeous peachy-pink one, i go and check it out and it looks ORANGE..the Heritage Rouge Pigment i have is NOT anyway near purple but very deep burgundy-brownish-red. Is it because i live in Finland? Does MAC think Finland isn't important enough and they send "Class B" quality stuff to us? This is soooo frustrating!
I live in Finland too! I have had that problem in some lip products too... I saw youtubers using a lipstick+lip liner combo and i went to buy them and put them on and they didn't look the same. AT ALL. It was just one product tho. I don't knowww it's still weird.
I have had the same issue before, especially with nude/peach lipsticks-- they pull so Orange on me! A lot of it has to do with your natural coloring, undertones, lip color, , etc... But I have also noticed that hair color makes a HUGE difference in how the colors appear. I will often try to recreate Jaclyn's looks that incorporate red/burgundy eye shadows, and it just looks like I have conjunctivitis, lol. But these colors look GORGEOUS on her-- in part-- because of her beautiful deep red hair color. The heritage rouge pigment did show up much more burgundy for me until I used the Fix+, then got got purplely-burgundy. :) as for products being different in countries outside the U.S., I really hope that's not true! That would be really unfair to lots of people :/
Maybe your skin is acidic? :) my lips are, but my face isn't. So my foundations, eyeshadows, blushes, etc., stay the right colour, but my lipsticks always turn out funky on my lips compared to others. So I ALWAYS have to spend almost an HOUR testing different colours on. Sometimes I get lucky, and after that full hour, I get to buy ONE lipstick, but most of the time, I end up leaving the store empty-handed. :(( You just need to keep looking~ :) Don't give up! :3
Blend blend blend. I had this problem before and I was told I put too much shadow on my brush you need to slowly build the color not pack it all on at once :) hope this helped
Try using guides, around your eyes, like tape or something, just to make the placement of the shadow more specific and mistake proof. It really helps and makes things SOOO much easier!! lol But yes, build and blend, and build and blend.. lol =) xo
Does anyone feel it might turn out that way not just because of not blending enough but also because of their undertones? I have neutral leaning cool undertones so if the shadows are too warm, especially a smokey look, it just doesn't work. Maybe try slightly different shades or tones
I LOVVEEEE Cocoa Bear, I wear it in my crease nearly every day, & my favorite way is similar to what you did, pairing it with an orangey shade. It just looks so beautiful together & works for so many different looks! I don't have Chickadee, but I have a Coastal Scents shade that's a dupe for it.
BH cosmetics eye kohl set in 'warm' has a gold eyeliner pencil! 2 other warm metallics too, a deep brown and a copper, I believe. Try this for your gold water line!
Jaclyn you should really do a drugstore favourites or a makeup starter kit! Maybe like a Mac starter kit or just a regular high end/drugstore starter kit! :) love your videos

if you're looking for a good gold liner, i use makeup forevers artist liner in M-70 Metallic Bronze!! It's such a gorgeous color, lasts long, and is very pigmented!

I'm a year late but I LOVE this look! I recommend the Stila Smudge Stick in "Gilded" as a nice, gold waterline shade. It's gorgeous, waterproof, and lasts me all day!

NYX slide on, glide on, stay on & definitely a turn on waterproof extreme shine eye liner. In the color SL16 golden bronze will stay on your water line and look amazing with this look!

I recently had my first child and had a very complicated pregnancy & delivery, I gained 60lbs (yes you read that right... think kim k!!) and although I tried not to let it get me down I felt very depressed about how I looked in the months following the birth if my son. I just bought 2 MAC pigment sets from holiday collection earlier this morning online. None were sold out yet! They have 4 or 5 different color groupings with 5 pigments in each set... I think they are $35 bucks each? Awesome deal if you want to try pigments!
The Urban Decay 24/7 liners are the only -- ONLY -- liners I can put on my water line. And they come in a huge array of colors. Try those if you haven't already.

Have you tried NYX's Slide On Eyeliner in Glitzy Gold? It's one of the few liners that stays on my waterline, and the color is super pretty! It might be a tad darker than what you have on here, but you could always just set it with Amber Lights to get that color, but you still get the staying power of the liner.

I love NYX brand pigments. Their range of colors isn't as broad as Mac, but they're $2.99 USD at Ulta and you can't beat the price :)

If i see someone here on UA-cam showing their favorite MAC lipsticks and see a gorgeous peachy-pink one, i go and check it out and it looks ORANGE..the Heritage Rouge Pigment i have is NOT anyway near purple but very deep burgundy-brownish-red. Is it because i live in Finland? Does MAC think Finland isn't important enough and they send "Class B" quality stuff to us? This is soooo frustrating!
a perfect peachy pink for me would be Flamingo, not orange at all, just perfect.
I live in Finland too! I have had that problem in some lip products too... I saw youtubers using a lipstick+lip liner combo and i went to buy them and put them on and they didn't look the same. AT ALL. It was just one product tho. I don't knowww it's still weird.
I have had the same issue before, especially with nude/peach lipsticks-- they pull so Orange on me! A lot of it has to do with your natural coloring, undertones, lip color, , etc... But I have also noticed that hair color makes a HUGE difference in how the colors appear. I will often try to recreate Jaclyn's looks that incorporate red/burgundy eye shadows, and it just looks like I have conjunctivitis, lol. But these colors look GORGEOUS on her-- in part-- because of her beautiful deep red hair color.
The heritage rouge pigment did show up much more burgundy for me until I used the Fix+, then got got purplely-burgundy. :) as for products being different in countries outside the U.S., I really hope that's not true! That would be really unfair to lots of people :/
Maybe your skin is acidic? :) my lips are, but my face isn't. So my foundations, eyeshadows, blushes, etc., stay the right colour, but my lipsticks always turn out funky on my lips compared to others. So I ALWAYS have to spend almost an HOUR testing different colours on. Sometimes I get lucky, and after that full hour, I get to buy ONE lipstick, but most of the time, I end up leaving the store empty-handed. :(( You just need to keep looking~ :) Don't give up! :3

Blend blend blend. I had this problem before and I was told I put too much shadow on my brush you need to slowly build the color not pack it all on at once :) hope this helped

Try using guides, around your eyes, like tape or something, just to make the placement of the shadow more specific and mistake proof. It really helps and makes things SOOO much easier!! lol But yes, build and blend, and build and blend.. lol =) xo
Does anyone feel it might turn out that way not just because of not blending enough but also because of their undertones? I have neutral leaning cool undertones so if the shadows are too warm, especially a smokey look, it just doesn't work. Maybe try slightly different shades or tones

I LOVVEEEE Cocoa Bear, I wear it in my crease nearly every day, & my favorite way is similar to what you did, pairing it with an orangey shade. It just looks so beautiful together & works for so many different looks! I don't have Chickadee, but I have a Coastal Scents shade that's a dupe for it.

BH cosmetics eye kohl set in 'warm' has a gold eyeliner pencil! 2 other warm metallics too, a deep brown and a copper, I believe. Try this for your gold water line!
I love to wear Tarte Smolder Eyes in Gold on my waterline. It's a darker, bronzier gold, but the lasting power is great!

if you're looking for a good gold liner, i use makeup forevers artist liner in M-70 Metallic Bronze!! It's such a gorgeous color, lasts long, and is very pigmented!

I'm a year late but I LOVE this look! I recommend the Stila Smudge Stick in "Gilded" as a nice, gold waterline shade. It's gorgeous, waterproof, and lasts me all day!

NYX slide on, glide on, stay on & definitely a turn on waterproof extreme shine eye liner. In the color SL16 golden bronze will stay on your water line and look amazing with this look!

Have you tried NYX's Slide On Eyeliner in Glitzy Gold? It's one of the few liners that stays on my waterline, and the color is super pretty! It might be a tad darker than what you have on here, but you could always just set it with Amber Lights to get that color, but you still get the staying power of the liner.
For the waterline, try L'oreal Silkissime pencil in gold! It's gorgeous!
