I Bet You Didn’t Know This Action RPG Was Coming to Nintendo Switch | Reynatis Demo Review

This has a look and feel of a platinum games project. Will need to check out the demo.
I've been waiting for this. It reminds me a bit of Astral Chain which I loved.
Already preordered this game and will check out the demo. Thanks for the notification and glad you liked it🎉
Progress carries over too!
@@SwitchCorner Nice!!!
Played the demo tonight and loved it. Definitely grabbing this one.
Ooooh!... Cheers for the heads up, I'll download the demo in a minute
Looks intriguing
I'm looking forward to playing Reynatis. Looks like fun gameplay with a new IP. I'm going to give it a try.
Have this game on preorder and started the demo last night but got a little frustrated with the tutorial. Gonna give it another go tonight. I am excited for this game, but also trying to keep expectations in check. I got interested in it when I heard people say it has some SqEx heavy hitters working on it and may have some inspiration from TWEWY and Versus XIII, but it’s also clearly low budget. Still, if it gives me decent gameplay and an intriguing story, world, and characters, I’ll be satisfied.
I do feel worried that it’s releasing so close to Metaphor ReFantazio as well, even though MR is clearly a much higher budget game. I worry Reynatis will fly under the radar like so many of those AA games SqEx dropped close together did back in 2022.
Looks intriguing. Will be sure to check out the demo to see if it's to my liking.
I enjoyed my time with the demo of this game I actually played through it 4 times🥰 it was not perfect as I had a few issues one major one being the white subtitles and their very tiny size 🙃
My only real major complaint with it was the subtitles 😈 their so small and difficult to read that their were many many times when I had no idea what was being said because I just flat couldn’t read them👻 and the default white subtitles just were not acceptable in this game..
I’d really appreciate if game developers added the option to change subtitle size and or color in the future because I feel that would make a huge difference.
The subtitle issues were actually why I did 4 plays of the demo
I'll check the demo later. Though I'd like to get into the atelier series first if the deal is good enough.
The Atelier games have been going on sale every three months or so, whenever Koei Tecmo does a big sale so watch for those.
Not mad at this, it's a solid DEMO, lots to like. Looking forward to how it turns out👀
I'll check the demo out
NISA and FuRyu have brought other action RPGs to the platform. Although these titles don't particularly interest me, I have a few titles published by NISA. Good to see that they keep bringing RPGs to the Switch.
Tried a bit of the demo on both Switch and PS5, there's a decent parity between the 2, so much so I'm not sure which I'd pick it up for if I do. Feels like Scarlet Nexus & Valkyrie Elysium, just a solid action RPG with an intriguing story.
I've been keeping an eye on this one, i really like the aesthetics
It has that obscure ps2 era action game energy, reminds me of stuff like Sword of Etheria
Looks like Oninaki meets Astral Chain.
I play this demo and I actually enjoyed.
Yeah I'm gonna get this ( MAYBE) when it's cheaper...on PS5
Im gonna try the demo! 😋
AAA price though?
Yeah AAA. Actually slightly above that in the UK by a few quid. Cheaper to buy physical than digital
that game is gonna run at a solid 15 fps on the switch
The gameplay in this video is switch, seems fine
You win!
Look, just being honest. This game was on the radar, but the demo helped finalize the decision. I won't be getting this one.
I tried the demo and did not like it. Also too many frape rate drops on switch I wont buy it full price.
This game is extremely low budget. I’m amazed you speak so positively of it, especially for the price. Meanwhile you complain about other perfectly fine games priced cheaper…
Like what? As an edit this comes from Kazushige Nojima, who did a ton of work in the final fantasy world so he gives me faith.
Spoken like a true economist. Do you also price art according to how much and how expensive paint has been used? Mona Lisa has less paint than Scream by Edvard Munch so it must be inferior, right?
The question is whether the game feels like worth the price for you, not about whether the production costs enough to be called a good game.
