      I just realized this episode answered a very important question: The reason why Karl never writes anything down (like the clues for Rockbusters) isn't because "he doesn't want Ricky to see the answers" but because he has a hard time reading EVEN HIS OWN HANDWRITING and got embarrassed when called out on it by Ricky and Steve.
      Notice this was the only time he ever did this. The only other time he ever tried reading something was a flier for K Fest and he couldn't even pronounce "Behemoth" and instead said "Bethlehem".

    • @MrElephantBeach

    Hate the way Steve condescends to Neil. Surely they had a chat with him off-air to make sure they didn't put on a nutter and could make a link out of it, and he and Ricky were having such a nice little chat (even better than the Ross conversation)

    Doing a great job Man Moth. But, is it just me but I'd listened to all of these years ago. What's really troubling is: there's at least a good few shows with Karl that got lost, that certainly haven't made it to youtube at least. How can we find these?? The only other query I have is this - what does Dickers Anderson look like?

    • @ManMoth
      @ManMoth  9 років тому +9

      MrJamesink Cheers MrJamesink. Yeah there are some missing shows from the very beginning of the new XFM show... when Karl first joined. I'm actively looking for them so any leads from anyone would be most welcome.

    • @ManMoth
      @ManMoth  9 років тому +1

      I think dickers is a children's author, I don't have more information at the moment, someone might link you to the site. (not sure he has a picture up) he's on reddit as well.

      I heard that dickers was a imaginative character derived directly from Messrs Gervais & Merchant. However, I will always believe that it's not a fictional figure & a real person! Love these boys!
