thanks for this video.. can we have a comparison to Scubapro jet fins ? how Apeks RK3 "or RK3HD"-M size will perform in warm water recreational diving at a configuration of 3mm wetsuit & 2-5mm boots ? I recently use Scubapro Supernova yet feel floaty .. thanks for your advice
Hi . Great review , thanks for taking the time to do it. I’m new to diving (30 dives) and have just got a drysuit to enable diving in the U.K. are these to heavy for a flutter style kick rather than frog kick ?
i am very happy that I went for the HD's too. Especially good if you get floaty legs! Orange are a bit in your face, but a have had a few people that have said that the only thing they could see was my fins when we have been in some crap vis.
@@TheDiveLine yeah I get the same comments, that being said my DrySuit is yellow... so they do go together to a degree, I got them mainly as I’m doing my DM course so wanted something other than black that the students can see 🤙🏻
Nice review. I'd like to try these, but the sizing is confusing. I have size 45 feet, extra wide and plan on doing warm water diving with a regular wetsuit boot. It seems that the "Super" size would work for me but I'm not sure. Anyone else out there with a size 45 foot using these?
Best way is to try them on in a store with your boots. I have a size 42 ( aka 9) and wear a medium size fin with my 7mm and 3mm booties. Both boots fit well in the pockets. If you have a 45 foot, you may need a large.
Hi there! Really nice video, really good, and has a lot of information. Let me do one question... I am a diving instructor working in warm waters for the last years using a mares super-channel. Do you think the rk3 HD would be much more negative than a mares super-channel? Thanks, Kaue
If the reason for no hole in the bootstrap is entanglement hazard, what about the two holes on the fin itself 🤔

I’ve gone for the HD’S in Orange and I absolutely love them! Fantastic bit of kit. I’ve also got the Tech Shorts for use in Pool / warm water

@@matthewholton2999 Have You used RK3 HD with a wet suit and is it possible if You have? Thank You for the reply.
May I ask, how there fins are on your knees? My knees are so so and I'm concerned that I'll be sorry with these RK3s because of their stiffness

I have the normal rk3s don't feel I need the HDs
Very thorough.. hands down
Are the standards positively buoyant or negative?
I just experienced the standard ones to be buoyant in saltwater.
will this fit on carry on luggage?
Yes
Is there any mark or label if it is regular or hd? I went to one of the store didn’t find that label.
Apparently hds have the number 70 inside the foot compartment
@@QuickCryptochannel thank you sir. I will confirm that once I will visit again the store
@Pete Martin I own the HD there is no number 70 inside the foot pocket, just a JU
@@gray_wolverine63 thank you
They also have then in Gray in HD I own a pair. Dive Safe 👌🏼
