There are other Christian UA-cam channels that have done videos about false teachers. You mentioned your concern about one of the people in the video you used being a friend of a false teacher. Would you consider doing a series of videos on the people that you consider are false teachers?
Amen there’s been some sketchy things about Michael brown that have come out over the years but the charismatics still love him because he defends them
Hm, interesting, I admit I don't know much about Michael Brown, so maybe I'm mistaken. But just based solely on this video, I'll say I'm Reformed and I think I'm with James White on this one, I don't think Michael Brown is a false teacher or heretic. Or at least I give Brown the benefit of the doubt for now until I see something more compelling. This video seems to use two lines of "evidence" against Brown: 1. Brown is a charismatic. I'm not a charismatic, but I don't see how being a charismatic is necessarily out of bounds theologically. For example, there are Reformed charismatics like Wayne Grudem and CJ Mahaney and even John Piper to an extent. Unless we're saying there's a line separating true and false teachers within charismatics, and Brown has crossed this line, then maybe, but personally I'd like to see more evidence that he has. 2. Brown is friends with charismatics, even those charismatic teachers who are themselves false teachers. This seems to commit the guilt by association fallacy. After all, I think James White is a genuine Christian and a good teacher, even though he is friends with Michael Brown. Or to put it another way, let's suppose Brown is a false teacher. We know James White is friends with Brown. But that doesn't mean James White is a false teacher or heretic just because he's friends with Brown even if Brown is a false teacher. Just my thoughts based solely on this video. But again I don't know much about Brown so maybe there is convincing evidence elsewhere that he is a false teacher.
@@philtheo thank you for your input and I agree with you but I just want to clarify and apologize if by it I insinuated James white is a false teachers, that’s not what I’m saying but that it’s concerning he’s approving of Michael as a man of God. Association with false teachers is prohibited based on scripture, calling false teachers brothers in Christ is completely wrong which is what Michael does, James from my knowledge is friends with Michael and he’d be the only charismatic preacher he associates with nonetheless is a bit concerning That’s just my point. I’ve learned a lot from Dr White but this just caught me off guard Check out this video ua-cam.com/video/PVtoNtptK70/v-deo.htmlsi=ckAm2fFS0jsPBUem
Ive marked and avoided all three channels already as i see to much compromise. James white has been for years open to christian nationalism. His family life isnt great either. Its sad because in the beginning of my walk with the Lord i got alot out of him.
@@Sgomes-is4or amen I’ve been noticing a lot of this happening in the reform community, Costi hinn did a episode with Mike winger who’s been known to call several false teachers brothers in Christ or like Joel osteen say… “I just don’t know”

Agreed. Luke 6:46....we can't be in Christ and go against His commands!!

James Wright is narcissistic so I wouldn't pay much attention to him in the first place. Secondly, he believes in Calvinism.
