Bravo to these selfless folk who threw so much away just to keep us entertained.
They do it for that youtube money. has nothing to do with keeping us entertained.
The selfless people christian is talking about are the car drivers for destroying their engines. 🫡
If nothing else we’ve learned that if you approach a flood or ford and there is an audience, turn around.
Fuckin a
Or use your brain.. asses it for your veh capability (fording depth) and drive it properly... or turn around.. its a car not a tricked up 4x4.... simples... or be an idiot and join the freak show that star in this video...
well said....hours of free enjoyment!
I came across my road home from work yesterday flooded all across, I didn't hesitate, turned my car around, went the long way round, got home safe in the knowledge I had a nice working car and settled down with a nice cup of tea, that's how to do it
Everyone turns around except the very small foolish percentage like these.
Hahaha, that is sooo true xD
I'm sitting here scratching my head in disbelief watching these people wreck perfectly good cars and vans.
even a fair few with a capable car/truck kill theirs by driving too fast...
The total repair cost in this video is remarkable
Pistons say: let's compress water!
*always amazes me when I think 🤔 we are all humans with brains 🧠 and yet, not all of us use them* 😂😂😂
And people wonder why insurance is so expensive 😅
Avoidable damage won’t be covered by insurance
You just can't beat the hydro lock knock! 😅😅😅
poor Audi Rs4 B7 😮 it’s criminal !
Insurance job? But then again, insurance will not pay out for this. So just major stupidity. Idk how someone this dumb can own a car like that 🤯
On less misery box can't be a bad thing
that one hurt to watch
I can't believe that the guy actually called rescue and had them float him out on a boat in water one foot deep. Guess he didn't want to get his shoes wet. Some people. SMH.
I thought he was handicapped, but obviously, just a moron!
Amazing how much of a hurry these people are in to have a breakdown, most of them would've made it if they'd slow down 😂 top effort for standing there in the piddling rain buddy, most entertaining 👏
Nice hearing the birds twit when the jag was written off...
Once you see the water going over the top of the bonnet you know the car's done for.
17:53 don’t think 4 wheel drive would help when you’re floating 😂😂
remember these are the people raising your insurance premiums
The amount of people clueless on how to go through deep water is unreal.
All the years of design that went into these vehicles, the money spent buying, insuring, having MOT's every year, going on holiday in them, running a business using them etc then they get driven into deep water in a moment of madness & it's all over for the majority -
🦆🦆🦆 are waterproof & meant to go in deep water, 🚗🚐🚛 etc work very well on roads.
Bonkers the lot of them.
Well at one minute that white car engine was mashed in to a clattering rattling jumble of randomly distributed cogs and rods by the time those restarts finished.
That was hydrolocking at its most brutal 😢
Yes all they needed to do was unclip the airbox lid, and let the poor engine breathe air instead of water.
Its the Jag at 2:38 that gets me, does the depth gauge showing 3ft of water not give you a clue that perhaps in a normal road car, that might be bad news?
At 3:10 you can see him walking towards the nearest Jag dealer to get a new one 🤣😂😅
I love the water in the car, halfway up the backrest of the front seat.
He thought he had so much money the water wouldn't dare to touch him.
based on the way that guy was walking, i imagine there was probably good reason for him not to be behind the wheel in the first place
At least the wipers are still working on the jag😂😂
На это можно смотреть бесконечно))!!Людская беспечность и уверенность просто поражает.
Ha ha love the RIP number plates tied to the fence supposed to warn others
It doesn’t work, they still know best 😂
Straight in with some massive damage 😂😂😂😂
I hate to think how much money has been lost
@@craigstonercs3100 more then I’ve ever had that’s for sure 😂😂
La maggior parte di questi mezzi se passavano pianissimo non avrebbero avuto problemi 😉
Grandpa in the Jag....it's 3 FEET of water mate! How long has this guy been driving?!
this guy is senile
Worse problem for BMW and Audi is if the engine conks out in the flood water, towing means the rear wheel is locked messing up the tyre on extraction.
Compared to any other damages, this is a minor problem.
От чего машина глохнет в воде? Мамкин механник?
BMW The Ultimate Diving Machine
Poor chap walking away from his car left the wipers on 😂😂😂
This is unbelievable
Top video mate, been a crazy year…😭😂
It sure has this years going be even better
That sound of the white bmw in beginning, lol
Agree, that was the worst I have ever heard, The BMW was fighting to stay alive and I am impressed that it kept starting over and over.
"Settle down class, settle down That's it.... quiet please. You at the back too. Now take out your exercise books and turn to a clean page. Today we are going to learn all about Hydrolock."
HAHAHA,
I will never understand the mindset of people who 1- choose to drive through water levels unsuitable for their vehicle despite there being a water depth indicator. Or 2- people who think driving fast through water is the correct approach. It genuinely angers me how stupid some people are. Some people are just so careless to take brand new expensive vehicles through deep water. If you have a Land Rover/Range Rover then fair enough, but not some saloon car or something.
They are rich and well insured....so they dont care or just do it 4 fun...
There’s a brick wall in front of me, I’ll just drive straight at it, see what happens. Why do people do this…?! That motorbike tho, poor fella 😂
schlippegeducktschlappbabbel!!!
It makes me smile they have not got a clue how to go through water.all moden cars have the air filter pipe in the grill area so the faster you go the quicker you bend the con rods😅
All the BMW drivers ploughing in with wanton abandon. Ha ha, Muppets!!
"Dude I almost had it!"
"Had it?! You never had your car!"
10:54 unbelievable
If in doubt..flat out
Nein einfach Dumm ! Es hat schon einen Grund warum England eine Insel ist!
soviel Dummheit muss Isoliert werden!!
Watch as vehicles bravely navigate through the UK's storm floods in this jaw-dropping compilation of waterlogged roads and unexpected fails
Watching engines drinking all that water is so painful to see.
I guess for many drivers they think some deep standing water even just 12 inches let alone 24 inches or more will be passable if I put my foot down. But that bow wave they can't see and even if they did, would have no idea where all that incoming water is going. Straight into the air filter housing and then into the cylinder head piston chambers. If they survive the flood, they think hurrah, but on exit there is normally a slope and the engine dies adding even more water from the clogged air filter into the engine. No diesel or petrol engine will survive. Water gets into the sump , all the electrics starter and alternator, hence the squeaking. Basically a very expensive repair job. But some drive slowly and that is even worse, as water enters the exhaust and kills the engine. Then a water logged car and it means a tow out. But if you drive slowly and keep very high revs with clutch slipping, it will keep the water out of the exhaust and you could survive. I have seen 4wd with a snorkel conk out because of the exhaust dilemma. Or the Fiat 500 stop and become a floater!! Would I take my 20 year-old Rover 45 through a ford, yes if it was only halfway up a passing duck.
These are just mechanical fails. Tragically 3 men lost their lives during the flooding in Storm Garrett. It's just not worth it.
They should have dispatched the air ambulance to get that man out of the blue car 😅 it's so deep it must be what four or five inches 😮
2:12 Ok that one made me LOL
Oh that jag😢and the adventure bike was misold😂
If the water is above bumper height, & you go in , you'll likely fry the engine if it gets into the Air Filter box . Any petrol or diesel ingesting water is a sure way to destroy your vehicle . Just gotta wonder how many vehicles that do this are completely written off
All these cars in Northern Ireland by now,. advertised as mint condition.
Piston rods left the chat. lol
100.000s in damage. Just a crazy place
My car has a 900mm wading depth but I still would avoid
Man I would be so pissed if my Amazon package would arrive soaking wet.
There's driver's, then there's screwdrivers .
Today Matthew I want to be Stockton Rush 😂😂
27:59 bro really had fire rescue come bring an emergency raft to get him out of a foot of water 💀
Best part is, it was the police that called the fire brigade
Sad thing is, a lot of these vehicles may have made it, if the drivers knew how to do the crossing correctly.
This should be called, "Day off Crossing!"
You can hear the sound of con rods bending!
After watching a lot of these I can confirm that going in too fast is the best way to wreck the car.
Nice to see a totally overloaded car and trailer 🙄
I’m at a loss for words FOR REAL 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Children have the most fun! The attraction is free.
That white bmw tho, Jesus Christ. Bet the fire brigade guys in the other clip, were laughing when they got back in the truck, what a joke 😂. Although wrong to waste emergency services time like that.
And the old geezer in the dark blue sedan that needed the fire rescue mob to bring a float out to him. The water was ankle deep FFS.
Saw a video very recently at one Copart auction site where there were row after row of cars all with water damaged cars for sale. It is not just the engine that suffers but all the internals.
Not to mention the electrics, plus the interior of some of them, I bet whoever buys one has all kinds of problems with it, be warning lights and faults galore, eml on as well, a motc failure..
so better buy Lada or UAZ cars if you live there
once the air intake takes a fairly big gulp of water it hydrolocks the egnine at that point the engine is typically ruined . Most these drivers have done many thousands of pounds damage to their engine and they are not insured for it either even on fully comp
People don't realise it gets into the engine oil and all around the engine..
If the back of the vehicle is floating in the water and inside is flooded, that vehicle is a complete write-off!
Ist doch klar das der Motor durch die Ansaugung Wasser zieht, oder die wissen nicht wie ein Motor funktioniert 😂😂😂
It's always funny watching these cars make the attempt and just stop at the other end
When you see that white smoke 😮 it's too late, engine left the chat 😅
Oh my ,the bin lorry
The white BMW was bad but 10.48 the grey ford just dived right in.
At 3:00 who else was wanting to shout "you can't park there?"
I love the motor pike😂😂😂😂😂😂
Oh God, the white BM. 😳
Going in like a rally car, some indeed did skid on the surface for 10 m. But normal cars are not built like WRC cars. And what a surprise, that failed. At least drowning and killing motors. But several cars looked like they hit a wall with decent speed.... Water is heavy....
@@Lightningchase19731m3 of water weighs a ton.
You're supposed to drive behind and follow your bow wave, not drive in the middle of it 😂
Less beer, more water.
How would you like it if you were jogging along taking a deep breath, and someone tipped a bucket of water down your throat? 😅
1. If a road is undrivable, the authority concerned should close it.
2. If it happens regularly, build the road above the water line, by means of a bridge/dike to keep the road dry at all times.
3. If all of the above fails, don't drive a normal van/car into water. They are not made for it.
4. If you HAVE TO (so there is no alternative that cost you less than 12 hours of driving extra), you take a chance. Minimise the risk by not driving faster than slow walking speed.
The birds are laughing....
When your engine sounds like jimmy spoons on steroids and bellowing white smoke thinking turning it over to dry out is not the best idea and I’m no mechanic 😂
I mean why they wanna take a risk and go through that much water.😂
People think they’re invincible in their vehicles. Especially the 4x4 and bmw w-ankers
Should put a sign up saying if u want to destroy ur car be mine guest 😅
Next time before I come to GB I`ll get me an amphibien car and then visit all your puddles.
That bmw tried it's hardest to live
You can hear the crows laughing at him @3:11
My car just swallowed a couple gallons of water and sounds like it’s destroying itself.
It’s fine!
everyone which goes slow and in 1st gear they mostly manage to come over
I drive my vehicle in deep water all the time, my vehicle is a boat though.
They need soviet cars there!

Manufacturer:Suzuki
Layout:Front-engine, four-wheel-drive

1,298 cc G13BB I4 (JB33)
1,328 cc M13A I4 (JB43)
1,461 cc K9K TD I4 (JB53)
1:00 Ooooh that sounds really bad!
i just dont understand these folks! submerge the air intake below water and its guaranteed failure!
brawo
Engines need air, fuel and a spark ( for petrol propelled) , correct compression for diesel. I bet these motorist have no idea where the air intake is in their vehicles nor 4x4 get fitted with snorkels. A Hydrolocked engine what you get having breathed in the flood waters. Driving slowly to avoid the water line reaching your air intake is the ideal method.
Probably don't know how to open the bonnet, tjet are that thick
1:02 Pretty sure that's not how it's supposed to sound
I wonder why these video's are always in UK. Here in mainland Europe we also had a lot of rain, but never these epic video's 😅
The white smoke of death.....
What’s with the number plates coming off so easy? Are they not screwed on?
1:05 That is how you reduce a BMW to a box of rocks
Wieso denken die Leute es ist eine brillante Idee mit dem Auto ins Wasser zu fahren? 😂😂😂
Why doesn't England just build a few small bridges? Seems the sensible option.
😂 In England there is the national village idiots competition. Many finalists are on these type of videos.
It’s astonishing how little people know about cars. Even if your engine air intake is about 2 or. 2.5 ft above the ground if you pile the water up to the top of your grill you will suck water down your air intake. Got to go really slowly like 3 mph or less if water is like a foot deep.
