These are the best videos ever. When I lat drag my arm just goes down but my wrist and pronation don't buckle if I'm out in a top roll. If my shoulder is up then I can block most people around my weight class but lat drag (240+ rows on cable machine [actual weight] or on a barbell) does close to nothing, when I can do at least 2x the weight I can comfortably hammer curl (120ish). It's worked like one time in the straps because I loaded my pronation like crazy and the person's wrist was tired at that point in practice so it buckled under my pronation and then my arm didn't go down but every time I try to lat drag now, even in the straps, my arm fails first. I'm not sure if I'm failing to "connect" to my lat but every time I go to a new practice everyone says "woah your back pressure is crazy" when we first grip up but then it doesn't translate to the straps at all. I'm pulling through the bottom strap and I have it an inch below my wrist joint. All of these people I can beat outside the straps with a top roll. Anyone have some recommendations?
It is the only chance if you are taller than everyone and you can't fight anymore for the knucles up. I'm talking about -80 or -70 kg categories where we are taller but skinny.
Im hoping they have about 2000 more videos to put out haha very informative stuff. Id like to see bob go through even 80% of his knowledge in videos like this, itd prob take a year at a video every hour im sure lol. Hes a great teacher imo, anyone who gets to train with him is a lucky guy
Great advice, I never realized that!! crack the wrist before you go sideways. Thanks Bob. This could be why I am always opening up. I am going sideways before I have control.
Bobs ability to show and teach is just on another level, makes it so easy to understand. Love ye big bob
Paul Italia is so fun to watch when he learns something new!

Beautiful. I love when class is in session. 💪
With the lat drag you gotta make sure your fingers and cupping is strong else your wrist will just go back while you drag backwards.

Just compile all these parts in one and start selling it, paul and bob. These are gems!! Thanks for these videos.
