I really wish CA would move on from Warscape engine, so that campaign maps can become fully moddable again. This mod, with an actual medieval map could easily be one of the best Total War games ever made.
Actually, the Rise of Mordor mod team has managed to make a completely new map for campaign, so it is possible to expand the map and even include the entire world

My favorite mod of all time is Divide et Impera, but the problem with DEI is they didnt add enough naval unit diversity and they didnt make Wrath of Sparta the epic awesomeness it could have been, with each faction having it's own shield patterns and naval units. Instead they took the easy route and replaced it with Macedonian Wars with units from the grand campaign. They really messed up with that one, because they could have made Wrath of Sparta the most historical gameplay EVER, besides the number of ships not being historically accurate, literally EVERYTHING else would have been if they had just made custom units and shield patterns for each Greek faction.

Thanks for making this video! It's always nice with these big mods that are kind of a hassle to install, to be able to watch a youtube video before deciding if it's worth trying out (I definitely think it is btw B^) ), and you covered this mod in a good way! Also what are gunpowder-weapons like in this mod?
Thanks for liking it! The gunpowder mods are pretty basic. But they may be updated eventually. Standard gunners can be recruited from most european factions.

In 1212 Hungary was not at all that divided between Catholic and Orthodox, especially not that far West in the country. There were Orthodox populations in in eastern Hungary, but not this extent. There were also earlier attempts by the Orthodox church to get primacy in Hungary, but that was hundreds of years earlier. If anything, Hungary had a bigger problem with paganism during the Middle Ages than with the Orthodox church.
